I’d love to see a comparison video of the Eufy S1 vs the Eureka J20. Since they’re both worlds first flagship models with the mopping roller and a wastewater tank onboard so they dont spread out dirt/waste water. They both mop way better than the traditional round mopping pads. Could you do a full comparison between them?
I wish you would have let the docking station clean the pads to see how well they come out. If we have to clean these things by hand after each use, it kind of defeats the point. I was trying to decide between these two and ended up going with the S8 with the new auto refill and drain system ($1200 black friday price). That feature was the deciding factor for me. When you don't have to care about how much water the system is using, and can have it clean the pads frequently, I think the S8 is better for mopping and vacuum. The Eufy is better keeping the pad clean on the fly however, there is a limit to how well it cleans the roller. Whereas with unlimited water supply the S8 can keep that pad clean far better with the hot water high speed brush system in the base. Also it has a dirty water detection, so if it detects the pad was very dirty, it will go back and clean the same area again with a much cleaner pad so... Overall the S8 is a better system, and when you don't have to care about water usage it is as could possibly better at mopping. II have had an S7 max ultra and it worked great for years, but remembering to exchange the tank fluids is a hassle and easy to forget. With the auto fill/drain system this truly is a set it and forget it cleaning system. Why more of these robots don't offer this option is a shame, it's a game changer and I won't buy another without it.
14:52 Is there a resource speaking on the specifics of this? That they hired engineers from DJI to help them design the S1 Pro? Other companies following suit could bring some real innovation
Will the Eufy S1 Pro scuff or leave marks on white baseboards and quarter round? Which robot does the least damage to white baseboards and quarter round?
Hi, I saw on your description that the s1 pro will be on sale $500 on Amazon starting 10/8/24? Is this confirmed? Since I couldn't find any sources says so, even on Amazon. If the price of s1 pro to be $999, do you think it's worth more than the Dreame X40 ultra where I have discounts for about $1350? Lastly, do you know if the s1 pro is better than Qrevo master (both at the same price range rn)? Sorry for asking too much, but I'd appreciate your response. Thanks.
I also heard many users said they have to drill a hole on top of the cleaning solution bottle of the S1 pro since it's not dispensing, have you ever encountered this issue yet? Thanks.
The $500 discount infomation came from eufy. I believe it will be Oct 8-9. I have not had issues with the cleaning solution personally, but I'm still on the first bottle.
When you’re vacuuming spills.. you’re VACUUMING spills into the machine… doesn’t this damage it? At the very least it’s going to ruin the filter. Does the Eufy have a mop only feature? No vacuuming? I don’t like the idea of liquid getting in and around the side brush either.
The eufy has a separate dirty water tank. Both these machines are designed to handle wet messes, so unless you're spilling massive amounts of liquid, you should be fine.
@@vacuumnerds The user manual literally says not to be used on liquid. The liquid hits the VACUUM roller first before the back roller. Again, it’s vacuuming up liquid into the dust bin FIRST 🙄
I am wondering if throwing the vacuum into any liquid will not mess up more the floor/vacuum, because tires/side brush will touch that and spread all over the places
Not exactly fair conclusion. Eufy's vacuum cannot reach the corners, and Roborock's vacuum is definitely better in every aspect. However, Eufy's mopping beats Roborock, hands-down, but both will have trouble with mopping edges and corners.
the eufy cleaning product takes forever to empty since its so concentrated, and you could poke a hole in the top of the cleaning solution dispenser and refill it yourself
It will get under furniture and use the side brush. I demonstrated it going around table legs in this video, or the previous one ua-cam.com/video/z24S5WYRxHs/v-deo.html
It would me amazing if you can get a unit from 3i - S10 Ultra and do a comparison with Roborock. They have some cool stuff and I am really wondering if they are as efficient as they say - basically with their model there is no dirty water tank since it is supposed to purify the water and re-use it which is crazy. And also it has a green laser for dirt detection.
@vacuumnerds that's the thing, they seem to be in a hurry. Their kickstarter campaign is really short, like a month or so, ending literally in 19 days. Which is really strange for me, considering they have a technology that seemingly nobody else has come up with. For me this means that either this is really too good and they are in a hurry to bust other brands market share OR their new technology is entirely not good and they are just trying to squeeze some money from kickstarter before real reviews kick in and defraud the new tech....both ways, it is strange.

Great idea. I have a pretty full video scheduled planned for the next couple months, but I'll see if I can get a comparison lined up.
The link for the artwork is missing 😜
My cat stole the artwork so I had to delist it!
7:32 self clean is good as you're not dragging dirt from room to room . This is more close to how would clean the house

I got this from a product document eufy provided to me
Will the Eufy S1 Pro scuff or leave marks on white baseboards and quarter round? Which robot does the least damage to white baseboards and quarter round?
I have white baseboards and the S1 has not damaged them.
I have already purchased
Which one did you get?
@@vacuumnerds same

I upgraded from the Q Revo to the S1 Pro and have had zero regrets. The S1 Pro is amazing if you have mostly hard floors.

It will vacuum up the spill unless u select mop only mode

This is a very good observation actually, I wonder longterm how this effects the machine, somehow seems fine though from every review ive seen.
Funny thing is the roomba s9 plus has a square design before the eufy
Interesting!
Neato, the company that brought the intelligent lidar based vacuum bots, has square fronts since the beginning :)
what is the height of both robots?
It would of been good to see how each base stationed cleaned all the sauces underneath each robot instead of you doing it in the sink.
Good idea for next time!
I am wondering if throwing the vacuum into any liquid will not mess up more the floor/vacuum, because tires/side brush will touch that and spread all over the places
These vacuums will handle normal amounts of liquid. None are designed to pick up a big spill.
I have the Roborock Q7max is it good
Yes
curious about vacuuming on carpet, i heard it didn't do carpet really well
The Roborock is a bit better on carpet, the S1 is a bit better at mopping.
I have the s1 pro. It is not good on carpet at all.
I indeed love eufy products!
I've had a few, and they have come a long way since my first eufy robot vacuum a few years ago.
Eufy s1 vs qrevo curv ?
The curv hasn't launched yet, but QRevo is model line below the S8, so it's more fair to compare roughly equal prices.
Not exactly fair conclusion. Eufy's vacuum cannot reach the corners, and Roborock's vacuum is definitely better in every aspect. However, Eufy's mopping beats Roborock, hands-down, but both will have trouble with mopping edges and corners.
What you mean is you google it says that eufy Omni s1 pro can clean the corners
With waist length hair im looking for one that dosent tangle
s8 max v ultra with the optional detangle head is better than the eufy for this
@vacuumnerds that's good to know thanks.
Whats your opinion about the qrevo compared to the s8 max v ultra
Downsides of the eufy is - no side cleaning under the furniture/ no siri Voice Assistent /- Extra cleaning product that you have to buy
the eufy cleaning product takes forever to empty since its so concentrated, and you could poke a hole in the top of the cleaning solution dispenser and refill it yourself

I saw the 3i last year at CES. I'll chat with them at CES 2025 and see what their production model looks like.

@vacuumnerds unfortunately the kickstarter campaign ends in 19 days so it is a bit of leap of faith
Roborock is hands down better. Sounded like a comercial for Euffy. 🤷
S1 pro way more maintenance
I've had both in my house for months. It's similar imho, but I do like to wash out the roller every now and then to get it extra clean.
