    Eufy really change the market with this new roller washing brush. And the price is really competitive.

      Recommend checking out the SwitchBot S10 as well for a roller mop. For me personally, it was a toss up for me.

      It's very good. I'm probably going to use it for a couple of months and then compare.

      Imagine if they could fit one extending rolling pad on it somewhere and make one of the side brushes extend as well for the edges also increase the suction power, there won't be a competitor for the Eufy at all! ;)))

    One issue I have with the Eufy vs the Dreame is that Dreame have announced a very low profile fully plumbed-in docking station for the X40. For people who have a convenient place to put the dock that can access water and drainage services (e.g. a kitchen, bathroom or utility room) that could be a very desirable feature; it's definitely a killer feature for me. Both the fully-plumbed and the low-profile aspects of a dock are important to me so that pretty much leaves me (as far as I'm aware) with a choice between the Dreame X40 (Master) and the Roborock s8 MaxV Ultra.
    The big issue I have with the X40 is that it doesn't use that wonderful extending side brush on carpets. Probably not such a big deal on rugs but in rooms with wall-to-wall carpets that means it won't clean the edges and corners. I've seen a couple of commenters on other X40 review videos say that they have reached out to Dreame and that Dreame has said that a firmware "fix" is being worked on. One of those commenters said he had actually filed a support ticket about it and got that response so hopefully there is indeed a firmware update on the way that will mean that the X40 is able to clean fully carpeted rooms far better.

    QUESTION-
    Hey sir, i belong to india , we have all hard floors and they remain quite dirty ,therefore i lean towards more mopping power ,in india the eufy S1 pro is not available,
    Can u tell me will it work if i import it from a different country and is it worth?

  •  Місяць тому

    I prefer Eufy for its ability to navigate under low-clearance areas, such as beneath beds, unlike other models that have top-mounted LiDAR systems, which may limit such access.

    Bit weird you gave the design point to the Eufy. It looks like an appliance, whereas the Dreame looks a lot more elegant, almost like a piece of furniture. I guess it comes down to your own taste, but I know which one I'd rather have on show in my home - and it isn't the one you gave the point to.

    Hi. I know this is out of topic but I have a question. My Royal 1025 makes a weird noise when i set it to the lowest setting when its on a high piled carpets? Is this normal? I have another royal and it sounds the same when i set it on the lowest setting when on high pile carpets. Is it normal for royal vacuums go make a noise when i set them to the lowest settings when on high pile carpets?

      I don't know about the Eufy, but the X40 has a wetness setting which can configured per room or area. The laminate flooring in my kitchen is more water resistant so I mop it with more wetness than elsewhere.

      @vacuumnerds  2 місяці тому +3

      Very, very close tbh. I've been using the Freo Z Ultra for the last few weeks and I love the fact that it doesn't get stuck on anything. It does need to return to the dock a lot which is fine if you only have 1 floor.

    Great video! I have a multi floor house too, how do you handle the eufy? Do you have to move also the base to the floor where you want clean?

    • @vacuumnerds
      @vacuumnerds  4 місяці тому +2

      I just move the robot to the different floor. If I want it to mop a different floor, I set the floor in the app, then start the cleaning cycle with the start button. Once the base station has wet the mop, I move the robot to the floor and let it clean.

    Which one is better for animal hair? We have two big dogs that have hair everywhere and 95% hard floors. Eufy sounds like what id got for because of mopping performance but i dont want it constantly tangled or breaking with dog hair. Whats your view?

      @vacuumnerds  3 місяці тому +2

      There's an optional tri-cut brush you can get for the Dreame that does a pretty good job with pet hair. The eufy requires detangling from time to time with our fluffy cats. The eufy has better mopping, but both are very good robots.

    • @vacuumnerds

    I think it’s as simple as do you have all hardwood floors and therefor need to mop?
    One actually mops. The other is just collecting what it can with spinning brushes, thus spreading whatever you have on the floor around.

    Eufy s1 PRo seems best on the market overall. I'd rather have the roller mop instead of the other onethat will spread the grime. I've seen vide reviewswhere a guy actually wipes the floor afterwards and shows how well of a job eufy does against the others. it's crazy
