Just wanted to point out that, when reattaching the wires to the new thermistor, it doesn't matter which goes on which terminal. Thermistors have no polarity, so go ahead and connect them either way without worry. :)

Hey guys, you video's are so great... I wonder if you might also add a few comments, on maintenance. I have a 10 year old dryer and the Computer went bad, so I replaced the bearing, the belt and the thermistor as well. I wonder if you might add a few comments, like, "While your in there, you should check this and grease that, etc." Thanks again!

Would this thermistor cause an e61 error code and my heating element to keep burning up?

Frank Heckle man after literally changing out both control boards and thermostats I almost gave up and bought a new set lol but I went to Walmart and bought a ohm tester and tested everything... they all had good connection so I tested the back of the dryer where the power cord is and found out I wasn’t getting 240 volts from the power cord so I went to Lowe’s and bought a new one and it’s fixed!!! Definitely recommend testing power cord cause that will show E61 hope this helps
