Great instructions! Replaced the thermostat and belt with your -arts and they work great!
I came back here to comment how professional your salespeople are. I have DLEX8000W. I have it memorized since I’ve visited your website so much. I replaced the thermistor, thermostat, high limit thermostat and tested the coils. The high limit died after four loads. It was warranted, replaced and now works like a champ! The second time around when I disassembled the dryer was to remove the coil, open it and clean it. Seeing you replace parts on a new machine is easy but try a 5-year old dryer that worked for 8 people! It was filthy full of lint. I cleaned everything. Lubed the wheels and the idler wheel for the belt which by the way was getting stiff. All is good now and has dried over a dozen loads now.
Our LG 8000 washer was four years old. The water pump went out on our first one that lasted a year. After four years on the second one with a relative 100,000 plus miles on it, the weight sensor, the water pump, drum light and bearings had all gone out. The repairman said it wasn’t worth it and to buy a new one which we did.
Thanks again APP.
Thank you for a well-made repair video! I appreciated the lack of extra fluff to distract you from the simple steps that need to be done.
This was extremely helpful. Thank you for creating this video.

Thank you! Success!
You could spend all day taking disassembling your dryer to replace the overtemp switch or you can unplug it, remove the dryer vent hose and remove the one Philips head screw that holds the tube that goes to the dryer vent, pull it out and have access the limit/overtemp, thermostat, that way.
Exactly what I was thinking
Are some located in the other spot where the black sensor is in the very back. That is where mine looks like it is or is it a different part?
Where can I test the eating? I want to see if it’s OK with a omemer call Janet

Wow ..
They could make a access panel from the bottom...omg....
If you have good dexterity and fairly thin arms, you can get at this from the side vent access hole without needing to take the dryer apart at all.
