We call it cucumber raita in India.
@@hazalkaya8191of course, after all we were together before partition...😊
U also add roasted cumin powder and black pepper and black salt . In india called khira raita
I cannot imagine adding cumin to this dish! That would just completely change it😮
This is different from a raita because we add thick yogurt, but in a raita the yogurt is more runny or watery
I learned a Greek trick for Tzatziki- put a piece of dry stale bread in the sauce because that will help soak out the excess moisture. I tried it and 1 hour later my sauce was much thicker. Very nice sauce.
I need all your recipes in my life!!❤❤
It's called tzatziki and it's gorgeous. One of our eating landmarks here in Greece 🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷
🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🤌🤌🤌🙌🙌🙌🍻🍻🍻 Στην υγεία σου πατριοτηνα!!! The real deal Holyfield! Tzatziki, no “saziki” 😂😂😂 (jk)
I will try!!! Thanks for the recipe!! I received a lot of cucumbers and was trying to figure out what to do with them cause I didn’t want them to go to waste!!! ❤❤❤
It's called "cucumber raita" in pakistan.
We usually eat it in many ways but my favourite is eating it with "pulao"(it is a rice dish). IT'S THE BESTTT!!

Grear bond,, salutes to you guys,, may the good Lord Blessd your family ❤
We have a similar dish in my country called raita ( we don’t add oil in ours unless we are diluting it further and making it into buttermilk / majighe where we add oil in form of tadka with curry leaves ,mustard etc ) and it’s a must accompaniment for a variety of Indian dishes. Cucumber is replaced with different vegetables to bring in variety
You people get on my nerves. You and anyone else, can call it what you want to call it. Different people call foods by different names according to where they are from or "who" shared the recipe, where they might be from. It doesn't change her recipe no matter what you want to call it. If it really bothers someone, put out your own video.
@@lbrown6859 where did I say that the name bothered me ? I was merely presenting what it is said in my culture .
If a non insulting simple comment gets on ur nerves , then you need to take active steps to fix ur mind . In all likelihood u have a terribly stressed and frustrated mind to be taking offence where there was none . I recommend doing some yoga n meditation to ease ur mind
@@lbrown6859 Не бъдете нервен. Храната успокоява, а рецептата е добра. По повод нея ние само споделяме, а не критикуваме.
@@lbrown6859 every cultural native food has their unique identity and names. It's important and absolutely necessary to acknowledge the native recipes and their original names. I mean you would not make a pizza and then refuse to call it pizza or acknowledge its roots and heritage.
I used to do it but with a small différence...i'll do it this way ...thanks from Algéria 🇩🇿♥️
Multumesc frumos! ☺️💓🌸🌈

Love from Bulgaria 🇧🇬
In UAE we simply call this Cucumber yogurt. Its a side that we normally eat with any type of rice but mostly with Kabsa.
UA-cam's algorithm really works like boom. Just few minutes ago UA-cam showed me almost similar recipe of cucumber raita(indian style) and I found it amazing. Surprisingly even cucumber is grated and squished. Definitely gonna try this recipe now. 😋
I love that sauce. I'm glad I now know this recipe
Good if you take handful peanuts roast and then crush them add them in what u prepared in these video with salt and sugar and then temper them (oil mustard seeds curry leaves green chillies) u will love it❤

To make tjatjiki you must add vinegar no lemon. Iam from Greece..
that might be the authentic way but it's probably the cookers twist! food is art, it can be mixed and matched 😊
Looks delicious.. I’ll try both ways but my preference is fresh lemon juice. Thanks
Looks delicious❤

We know this from decades we call it Jajeek in Iraq I think we knew it from the Turkish ppl when they were in our country .
Yum❤
drink the juice. i love thatttttttt
This is an original Greek recipe!!! ❤
It's called raita it's quite refreshing and mostly consumed along biryani or pulao
"we call it raita" is better than "It's called raita" . It sounds like you're correcting her dish.
@pratriciadewan7396 "we call it raita" or may be "it's called raita in (your country name)"!😂
Cashew yoghurt! Do you make that yourself? I've never seen that in shops but it sounds delish.
Yummy 😋
