There will NEVER be any sports rivalry bigger than Army/Navy. Growing up as the son of a 34-year Navy veteran, that Saturday in December was like a religious holiday in my house. I still carry on that tradition today in my own home. Love you and miss you, Dad. Go Navy!!!! Beat Army!!!!

In early retirement, I''m a part-time, flex employee of NABSD (Naval Academy Business Services Division), meaning that I get assignments to help out at The Midshipman Store (on The Yard), at The Sports Brigade Complex (across the Severn River) or at the warehouse (just off The Yard in Annapolis). However, I'm usually assigned to The GIft Shop on the academy grounds. I love it because of the professionalism and courtest always shown by the great people that work there. Plus, I get the chance to use my sales skills and background with all of the proceeds going directly to support the education of - and the programs for - our midshipmen. I could not be more honored to work anywhere else.

Western Marylander here! Navy family, too! My uncle quit high school at age 17 years and joined the US Navy. He ended up on an Ammunition ship December 7,1941 at Pearl Harbor! He was a very proud member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association/ Philadelphia chapter! I was very fortunate to be able to meet many of those Survivors at my Uncle's annual Pearl Harbor Survivors Association summer picnic , not far from Valley Forge Pennsylvania! My father was a former US Naval officer and scientist. Dad helped build the very first Atomic Reactors for Submarines/ Admiral Rickover's program. My brother's best friend Ken Waldie graduated from the Naval Academy! He was on a plane that hit the WTC September 11,2001! We were on our way to the Eastern Shore ,when dad suggested we stop at the Naval Academy. It was Ken 's first year! I always remember him running up to greet our family in his uniform! RIP Ken! We miss you buddy! He was always smiling ! GO NAVY! 🫡🫡🫡⚓️⛵️⚓️🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊

OK ! As a son of a career musician at the USMA at West Point, this is my FIRST TIME learning, seeing the OTHER SIDE, Navy. Fifteen years at West Point as the son of a musician/soldier my life was influenced by West Point. So, seeing this video, I say, Impressive, outstanding, everything I saw and heard. Annapolis is a gorgeous site for learning, grooming, training future Naval officers. Thank you so much showing me this outstanding institution training men and women to lead and serve in the US Navy. So, tomorrow, we will see which academy claims the commanders trophy. As second best, you will definitely have a very tough mission. play hard and play well, you will need to. The Cadets at West Point are frosty, and Hungary.

Shoutout to Dave Forman repping the great Class of '98, the last class to have a real plebe summer! Oh, and nice to see good old YP 698. Great memories of throwing up on the chart table in rough seas (for a YP, anyway) while underway to Boston in the summer of 1995. Go Navy, Beat Army!

Hello Sam! I know this video was posted about a week ago, and my comment is probably not going to be seen, but I do have some questions.
    1. What are the requirements to apply for USAFA
    2. How do they grade the USAFA
    3. What is considered good grades when applying for USAFA?
    4. Once you pass USAFA can you choose any career in USAF? Like Pararescue - Special Investigations?
Thats all of got, continue making great videos for us all!

When you know that you've had a small part in helping a mid or an Air Force academy cadet pursue their dream of service it is quite humbling, one of my former Civil Air Patrol cadets is at Annapolis now and another is heading for USAFA. To have the USNA literally in my backyard is amazing!

My Cousin went to the Naval Academy and I went to the graduation but never got to look inside it. It was so coo to see what he was talking about during his experiences.

Loved the whole video but one small correction is that both the Men's and Women's Lacrosse programs are not club sports. They are NCAA Division I. Coming from a Sport Management Guy! Keep up the good work my man. Love all your videos. They're so educational and entertaining. Very well done and keeps the attention of the audience.
