      All the highest precautions they take are for the President, and next level down for the Vice President. Former Presidents and Presidential candidates don't get nearly the same protection as those in office. Nor do their families. How much of a perimeter do you want to have around a former President? And how much taxpayer money much do you want to spend to do it? Do you want to spend a $Billion a year protecting Bill Clinton or Jimmy Carter? If Trump was President at the time nobody would have been able to get anywhere near him with a rifle. There are also advance teams. Trump was hopping around the country, sometimes having multiple events in a day, and sometimes on short notice. That requires a lot of manpower. There was also a ton of people attending those events that had to be searched and watched. Even more manpower. Hindsight is 20/20. Also, it would have helped if Trump didn't insist on having outdoor events which are much harder locations to secure. As it is he's costing the taxpayers more than any other President, or ex-President, with all his multiple residences and charging us top dollar to rent space there. He got more protection than he should have been entitled to.

      Yeah, after the Secret Service basically held the door open for the Assassins (there's more than one shooter), and then the Secret Service ONLY fires after 8 shots are fired on President Trump...and then ONLY to kill the patsy on a roof the SS specifically left undefended...the "Exclusion zone" they drew SPFICIALLY cuts the building with the roof out of their exclusion zone....it's so hokey when you look at their nonsensical zone - it looks like "Pacman" the way they left the roof-building open.
      Can the Secret Service please STOP making it is so OBVIOUS to the American People that they STOOD DOWN and left the Door (or "Roofs and Water Tower") WIDE OPEN for their Assassin to kill Trump?

    A lot of people asking about the torn American flag that was hanging in the lobby at the beginning of the video.
    The flag flew at the World Trade Center in New York City on September 11, 2001. When it was recovered by Secret Service personnel amongst the rubble of the former home of the Secret Service New York Field Office, it was battered and burnt. Secret Service personnel saved it, cleaned it, and cared for it before transferring it to their archives. They proudly display the flag in their atrium as a testament to the resolve and character of the United States of America.

    Of all the things in this video, one of the most interesting insights into the Secret Service's operations was revealed during the driving demonstration. In the driver's position of the vehicle, there are two serial seat belt latches. This is a very clever way to ensure both personnel safety while providing a redundant emergency egress path in the event of a latch failure. While a conventional car can be fitted with a seat belt cutter/window shatter hammer combo tool, the need for split-second readiness requires this to be an immediate recovery option that takes less than a second in the event of a mechanical latch failure. Very clever engineering.

    • @bradridge5644
      @bradridge5644 5 місяців тому +5

      He can confirm himself but I quite imagine it has to do with some combination of familiarity in addition to vehicle design and G-force an occupant experiences. Cars aren't really supposed to put you under much in the way of Gs whereas military aircraft are. The seating, aside from everything else, for example is designed to contain you and flight suits for fighter aircraft fight the most severe impacts of G force. Most of us have a pretty keen familiarity and thus expectation of what a car should do and stunt driving isn't something nearly anyone gets to experience thus surprising us when we feel performance driving; at least with an aircraft you know you're going to be put in an experience that is relatively new. Note the difference between Sam and the trainer who looks like he's doing a crossword puzzle on a Sunday enjoying his coffee -- that's familiarity you can't buy.

      No he clearly said there are multiple built and the there are older ones at the drive course and we only seen 1 car per generation so he didn’t lie and as for the 7 models in each generation clearly they were destroyed or did you see them and I missed it ?

      lol, guess understanding what you heard might be a hard course for you. 8 were made, 7 destroyed and 1 kept for the museum. You literarily accused someone of lying when you are actually the one absolutely wrong.

    I just read a book called 'Zero Fail' its about the history of the secret service and the different situations they've delt with through each president. It also covers the scandals that no one really knows about and its a great read! I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the agency.
