When I look at the bridge guy photograph or video which is Richard Allen I see a monster who brutally murdered those young girls and I also see a psychopath who is manipulating people around him to get away with murder because to me the evidence is clear!
I was convinced of RA's guilt but now knowing so much more its not so black and white. The way he was kept, almost tortured, for over a year makes me wonder about his mental health (that was already fragile) and how that might have affected his confessions. I just pray Abby, Libby and their families get the justice they deserve.
I know what you mean. I really thought he did it. I still question why he was hospitalized for his mental health shortly after the girls were killed. I also question why there was his specific bullet casing at the scene. He was an alcoholic, which a CVS co-worker said following the murders and then he was sent away. So this guy had mental health problems long before jail. Maybe he felt guilty when he allowed the family to have the memorial photos for free. And this Odinism stuff? The time from the bridge to the girls' murder was not long-Libby's video and the phone revealed this. An organized cult would not have done this in broad daylight in what was about twenty minutes. Allen's account of how and why he did it made sense. He molested his sister and then went after two tween girls. I don't think Allen is a very bright guy, but he delivered a cogent set of events to the psychologist. I leave it in the hands of the Jury because we are not seeing this trial.
@strawberryseason we will have to agree to disagree on that BUT I am in no way saying he is innocent. So much does point to it being him. I'm just happy I'm not on that jury bc it comes down to reasonable doubt and without any DNA or solid evidence the prosecution has a tough job. Both sides are doing well so idk. Nobody wants to see an innocent person found guilty, even the families, so praying the jury gets it right.

As a nurse, injecting Haldol that’s some heavy psych meds, and the guy went in there normal! Especially injecting it. Isn’t that rare in a prison that always be given them the oral form and tablets.
We cannot have it both ways. Either he was experiencing psychosis, and neeeded the injection and further mental health issues, or he was faking it. They treated it as though it were real and acted accordingly. Had he not got the injection, someone would be complaining about the psychosis he was forced to endure without medication. Which is it?
@@ThisIsSara-r4dsolitary will drive anyone mad. Even mother Teresa. If you think what they did to a man who wasn’t even convicted yet was normal, you are part of the problem. They could have kept him elsewhere for his safety. Not solitary for 13 months with odinist guards.
Haloperidol via injection (usually IM not IV) is more convenient in prison populations as it is extended release and only given every 4 weeks. This alleviates issues with compliance or placing the burden on prison staff to ensure it’s taken daily. It’s also less likely to cause interactions with other medications using a digestive absorption transport system. The plasma concentration of the drug given via IM injection vs oral route is no different (unless dose is adjusted upward deliberately) so it is no more intense than a tablet , it is just the convenience of a monthly shot (yes I’m a doctor!). Hope this helps.
Innocent until proven guilty. I don't think he has been given the presumption of Innocence. Some of the investigators, and counselor have been tainted with bias.
The state must have confidence in their probable cause when they're arresting someone. They're not going to have the attitude; this guy is probably innocent.
Honestly..i struggle to understand how 1 person did this..the details of what happened to the girls, the crime scene..seems like more than 1 person would have to be involved. These girls and their families deserve true justice!
My true believe he did it WITH HIS WIFE. why was he asking whether she was detained? Why in one confession he said he did it alone, his wife has nothing to do with it? Had she ever? That makes me wonder WHERE WAS SHE and whether at least 2 people saw her there

"All of Delphi" (population ~3.000) knows that 99.9% of the time only Brad Weber drives on this private road. So "all of Delphi" will have speculated loudly about whether or not he saw anything at the time of the murders. And in the period from 2017 to 2022, surely Richard Allen will also have heard these speculations. For me, "the white van" isn't something only the murderer could know.
So they suspected him and arrested him. Then they realized they didn't have much evidence so they put him into a very hostile environment of solitary confinement. Did he just happen to get those two boxes of "Discovery evidence" before his confessions? Or did he not find out until after the first confessions? It's so terrible that the girls didn't just run in different directions when they got to the bottom of the trestle.

I just can't get past his height. For one how does he do the crime being so small, and the witnesses..if you see such a short man I feel like you'd remember it
That’s what is called reasonable doubt. I didn’t follow this until after the arrest; figured the police did their job. Carroll county was and IS far dirtier than they’ve made Richard Allen out to be.
So they framed a random CVS guy when they could have easily framed Ron Logan and put the case to bed for good. Not only that, but they didn't smear any of RAs DNA on the bullet to lock in the frame job. I’m not sure I’ve heard or seen enough to be able to convict Richard Allen beyond a reasonable doubt. Confession evidence and eyewitness evidence can be wildly unreliable. I hope the German and Williams’ families can get the justice and peace they rightfully deserve
Psychotherapist Reto Volkart, Switzerland (and he is not alone with this opinion): “In pre-trial detention, solitary confinement - unlike in prison - creates massive pressure to confess. So prisoners gave distorted and false information, even confessed to a murder they did not commit.” Allen was in solitary confinement for 13 months. One could speculate that it was hoped he would “snap” and do exactly what was described above. He has. I posted a few things today and this is my summary: I couldn’t convict Allen “without a reasonable doubt” if I were a juror.
Solitary confinement is cruel for a dog, let alone a human being and should be made illegal. Even god assigns a guardian angel to the good and evil alike.
RA confessed over 60 times to his wife, mother, psychologist, inmates, guards. His wife and his mother told him no you didn’t do that ,don’t say that, while he insisted he did to them. He is guilty.

The unfired round found at the scene appears to have been cycled through the action three times. Were all those marks consistent? Few .40 calibers are expensive, precisely made target pistols; there will be slop affecting how the extractor and ejector contact a spent case. What would a test round put through Allen's gun look like if manually cycled hard by a very large, strong man? Would that even simulate what a stressed/panicked average strength guy like Allen could do? (And even a muscleman couldn't produce the power of a slide recoiling after a bullet has been fired.) A lot of sketchy testing and jumping to conclusions on ballistics here.
He wasn't dictated into confessing. Where's the evidence that he was coached into confessing 60 times. That's a lot of confessing and not normal for someone who has been coached into it. I believe Allen is faking mental illness and he's being wishy-washy because he doesn't want to be held accountable for his actions. He has made up unbelievable stories about police being the murderers, and none of that adds up. Where's the badges and police he accused of being a murderous cult? Also, he had the jacket and bullet that fits the gun and he had hundreds of box cutters. He's trying to miss lead everyone to get away with murder. Also, he is under suicid watch because he made suicidal comments and he is on trial for very brutal murders of two underaged girls. Why would anyone let the suspect be free it shouldn't matter who it is? Also, prison isn't supposed to be comfortable it's a punishment for criminals and Allen is a criminal who has confessed multiple times to multiple people. He can't hide his deviant soul because he exposed himself to everyone. He's not the first murderer to play this game.
What is Bob talking about? He was depressed, anxious, had a drinking problem and did show violent volatility by threatening suicide with a gun in his home just two years before the murder.
Threatening suicide with a gun does not show violent volatility. Volatility means a possible tendency to erupt in violence or anger. Self harm with a gun or suicidal tendencies do not prove a person to be violent. They prove a person to want to harm themselves. Different things.

Thank you for shinning some light on this case. Most of the mainstream media has prematurely jumped to conclusions without having the slightest idea of what’s been taking place in the courtroom for the past two weeks. Although it’s not entirely their fault. Judge Gull certainly made sure that no audio or video recording would be allowed in this trial and now we find out why. Mr. Alan has a history of mental illness, yet was thrown into solitary confinement for 13 months when the max allowed is 30 days. Then after a month of being in prison amongst the worst of the CONVICTED criminals, with a 24 hour surveillance and suicide buddies, he began to act bizarre and make all sorts of statements and confessions. This only after having been given access to the evidentiary discovery and force-fed drugs which are know to cause psychosis when taken together. Not to mention the so called doctor who testified to said confessions, turned out to be a true crime fan who was heavily involved with the online discussions of the Delphi murders. Make it make sense Vinnie!!
GUILTY!!! He puts himself on the trial from 1:30-3:30. He confessed!!!!! The bullet, HE says he was wearing the same clothes as BG. People are jumping thru hoops to defend a child murderer. NOT EVERY SINGLE CASE HAS DNA EVIDENCE
I have so many questions. How often did RA go for a walk on the Monon Trail? While at work at CVS, did he regularly use a box cutter or knife to open boxes? If he had a six pack of beer, where did he get it and is there video? Where was the phone found? Since it was left behind, the perpetrator(s) must have left in a hurry. The only thing I think links RA to the crime scene is him stating that he saw a van and left. What is the full context of RA stating he saw a van? RA, in his alleged confessions, refers to the girls by their names. Doesn't a murderer try to dehumanize a victim(s) by not calling them by a specific name? On the recording, the word "Guys" was said. Can anyone testify that this a term that RA used?
What still puzzles me about the "Bridge Guy". The entire video is 43 seconds long. Libby is recording the trail before turning the camera to record Abby. Then “Bridge Guy” comes into view and says “down the hill”. After that Libby can be heard telling Abby “the trail ends here, we have to go down” on the video. The simplest explanation for “Bridge Guy" (whoever he was) saying "down the hill" is giving directions from one hiker to other hikers!

@kibz4208 This is a lot of evidence that he did it, but people want to brush the evidence away. I find this so disrespectful to the family! Has anyone asked how they feel? There are only two victims, Libby Liberty German and Abby, Abigail Williams, and their families. Anything I'll say will be dismissed by the pro-Allen followers. For example, he volunteered information about himself being on that bridge that day and even described his clothes, the same clothes to the bridge guy. He told on himself before the video of the bridge came out and then never followed through because the video scared him off. It took 5 years to find this suspect by luck while filling the tips. The Odinist is far fetch. The confessions, imo were his true feelings and may have even been a little remorseful. His wife has an idea or may even know by now by his confessions. We all know how our spouses act after many years with a person but are not having it. She would hang up or tell him not to talk. At one 6 is said he told his wife, "I'll say whatever you want me to say.... " talking about the case and trial. I don't even think it's remorse about the victims it's more about getting caught and the shame his family finally knows who he is. LE might have made many mistakes, but they knew it was a local. All witnesses on stand all agree it was RA. Witnesses may have described darker or lighter clothes but very similar. However, the difference was the location where each witness saw them could cause appearance of darker or lighter.. One was coming out of a dark trail, another walking by. Again, similar dark clothing is muddy and bloody. Then you have the two sketches that the jury won't hear about. AR is a short man, almost covered with a baseball type of hat and a hoodie. It's fair to say this is not a typical 45 year old dad dress. ALSO, RA has a younger looking face than an average person of his age,, even 5 years later, when he 1st got arrested that he was heavier, before the weight loss. So if that's now at 50 5 years ago at 45, younger, dresses with a cap and a hoodie, with his face downward, it would easily be described as a younger man and why the young sketch. It is too much evidence. I don't trust le ar times. There's corruption everywhere. BUT this case took years for them to find this suspect. They are not going to throw it to rush to close the case on just anyone. Especially a local family man when their are so many other criminals or pedophiles out in those areas. It would be easier to put it on them. They said from the very beginning it was a local hinding in plain sight. It was one of yours. The wife just as sick if he did this and just wants him to not confess is all about not disgracing the family and probably money for the restitution he would have to pay to the victim"s families. She might just plain old love him no matter what or a combination of all. Anyway, he lied about his height to make himself taller. He admitted it was a rape gone wrong. About innocent proven guilty.. He has been treated like everyone who has been charged with serious charges like this. They all go to jail while going to trail. Would you prefer charged murderers and rapest to be freed. While they post a threat to society. Most likely, they hold you because they have enough evidence to be charged, and until it is figured out, it best to be safe than sorry because if they let a person that is charged with murder out and they do commit another murde, than their would be public outrage on LE, DA, and the government because it's their responsibility to keep us safe.
When a death penalty case comes to trial, it is very very important to make sure that the accused has been given a fair opportunity to tell his and has an exemplary defense team to get to the facts. I used to be strongly inclined to support the notion of Capitol punishment, an eye for an eye. But since we have become aware of several innocent parties who were killed by the gov’t wrongly. We know that factually innocent people were arrested, charged, tried and executed by a system that is broken with regard to actual justice, it’s time to look at it differently. The Capitol punishment system is clearly ineffective, very expensive, drags the families of victims through hell for years on end, and worst of all does not deter violent crime. For these reasons some changes must come to bear. It’s not right to execute the wrong accused. How do you think the family feels upon hearing that DNA proves that the guy we executed did not do the crime. What then for the families of crime victim. As if they need more pain. It is appalling to me.
Everything I have heard, this sounds very much like a person who is being railroaded and is a scapegoat! I’m not sure about this case 🤷♀️. It sounds like a man who has been tortured with solitary confinement and haldol?!?!? What’s up with THAT???
Can they not run his speech through a voice analysis program. Haldol is to help break a psychotic episode. It’s not to continually stone him at. They need someone to explain the haldol, how often it was used, and intention. People are freaking out too much about this.
Haldol is frequently administered to sedate a patient. Can’t imagine that any confession would be viable while under influence of that medication, especially if it was being administered during a psychotic episode. Confession shouldn’t be admissible until he was no longer in the episode or under influence of medication. Just my two cents as a nurse.
I have questions. 1) were all their snapchat friends cleared? any reason to think they were meeting someone who looked like the younger man? 2) Was Allen's Car searched? if he got back in the car "covered in mud and blood"" there would be trace evidence around the area of the driver's feet. 3) i saw another video that said the man with the van on the hill also has a sig sauer. any reason to believe the bullet came from his gun? maybe he went down the hill from his house and was shooting or using his gun? 4) Did Allens "confession" truly come after he got the papers from discovery? in which case the confession is bullshit. But also: the apple health app data is not consistent with Allen's confession. he claims he took the girls down across the creek, then back again. That kind of movement is not reflected in the apple health data.
Commenting 20 times under this video doesn’t make your point valid. There is more than enough reasonable doubt to acquit this man. People DO make false confessions, RA WAS subject to unjust treatment and the investigation along with the trial has been grossly mishandled.
@@jackieoliver6983 he didn't do it. Not his hair not his tuch d an a. He didn't give them a ride to the woods. He didn't make any money off the deaths . Now think about it
I’m just shocked someone my age is a murderer! Who can look at anyone and be like “I just wanna kill to kill” every killer I know about started in their 30s or younger. I can’t understand the psychology behind this murder.
I feel so bad for Abby and Libby's families. Everything Richard said in his confession I found within half an on Reddit more than four years ago that was posted weeks after the murders. This jail counselor of Richard's was obsessed with this case and was online digging out info and sharing it with Richard so how much of his confession was words from his counselor after they put an innocent man, he is innocent until proven guilty, in prison solitary confinement for over a year? The "professionals" have made such a mess of this case how can there not be reasonable doubt?
Oh Bob you're wrong. 2:32pm is when the phone stopped moving, which means that's when the killing began. Abby was found lying on top of the phone. We know she didn't move when she was slashed. Medical examiner explained it could take up to 15 minutes for her to expire from her wound. that would put the time of death closer to 3pm than 2:30pm. After slashing Abby he attacked Libby. And really Bob is just making excuses and splitting hairs. Allen was seen walking down the road less than a half mile from the scene, and he could've left the scene as late as 3:45pm to be seen at 3:57pm on the side of the road. And no Bob, nobody was talking about vans. The evidences have stacked up on Allen- Digital footprints of witnesses phone and fitbit data prove he is 'Bridge Guy', and that is the 'felony murder' charge. Allen's unspent round found at the girls' feet was forensically matched to have been ejected from his gun, along with his confession about the van of which only the killer would know, means he killed them, and that is the 'murder' charge. Defense attorneys really do have to sell their soul. Allen's guilty and they know he's guilty. They've had nothing to prove he's not guilty and they've known the entire time they have nothing. They are misleading, misdirecting and confusing the jury in an attempt to convince them to let a killer walk free again among the general public. So far, most of the defense's witnesses have been hostile witnesses unbeknownst to them. It's been a pretty comical last couple of days.
That's the thing with our justice system, you don't need to prove your innocence. The prosecution needs to prove he is guilty BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT and they have not done that with their junk science. You don't undeniably know he did this.
He went at libby first then went fir abby she was dressed because she tried to flee hence she was dressed. She tried to use the phone hence attempts to unlock it
@GibboFrank Phone unlock attempt was immediately after the abduction video way before the slashing started. We don’t know exactly what happened between being marched "down the hill" and when they were killed. They spent 9 minutes walking down the hill and remaining in that flatland area before moving across creek to crime scene area. It was Libby's blood that was found all around the crime scene, which means he may have started with Abby first- neutralized her first then focused on Libby. Abby was lying on top of the phone. There was another hour's time between 2:40pm when he likely had both girls neutralized, and 3:40pm(ish) when he would've walked away from the scene and was spotted less than a half mile away by Carbaugh muddy and bloody at 3:57pm. There was an hour's time where he could've: been actively killing them, dragging Libby a few feet through her own blood, washing all evidence by throwing clothes in creek, walking around gathering branches in an attempt to cover the bodies, maybe even spending some time looking for the unspent round he lost...before probably hearing Cheyenne and her friend on the bridge around 3:45pm when she said she had reached the south end of bridge
@minilea25 forensic toolmark analysis is not junk science. That is what defense attorneys want you to believe so they can win their cases for their personal career gain. It was a group of defense attorneys that attacked the applied sciences in 2009, and it is defense attorneys convincing you now that forensics toolmark analysis is 'junk science'. DutyRon did a live recently that explained this. DNA/fingerprint/toolmark analysis are all just as strong of evidence in linking a criminal to the crime scene. There was also a firearms expert that explained this well (to Bob Motta!) on CourtTV's comprehensive story about Delphi (just posted yesterday). The ejector and extractor of Rick's gun left 'fingerprint' markings on the primer end of the unspent round that only Rick's gun could've made. These markings are unaffected by whether the gun is racked or fired. There is no "100%" or "exact match" in any applied science; DNA included. Oberg concluded without any doubt that the unspent round was cycled through Allen's gun. Ironically I'd bet you would accept Rick's drop of blood as linking him if his blood was found where the bullet was found, wouldn't you? DNA/fingerprint/toolmar analysis are all circumstial evidence, contrary to popular belief.
Just so everyone knows, since I didnt hear Vinny mention it, Bob Motta is literally sitting at the defense table in court every single day, so he is highly motivated to sway public opinion in Allen's favor.
The state of Indiana should be embarrassed of their lazy police/investigators/prosecutors and anyone else involved in this case. THEY have not investigated. They were so lazy they decided to incarcerate an innocent man, PUT HIM INTO PRISON BEFORE A TRIAL, leave him there 13 months while depriving him of any humanity, and THEN HAVE A TRIAL only after he has a mentsal breakdown. What a mess!! Can anyone tell me HOW the state was allowed to put this man in prison before a trial was held??? That is illegal, right??

There’s a really good doco from a screen writer I watched from 2019. Abbie’s mother was interviewed and said she would not have let her cross that bridge and would have grounded her for it
This is not a fair trial, something is seriously wrong with this case. If I was a juror, I wouldn’t convict with what prosecution has presented. IMO they have the wrong man
The video looks like RA, he admitted to being in area, he has confessed to disgusting behaviours. Along with a long list of circumstantial evidence and STILL people want to believe this manipulative psychopath. Shouldn't shock me anymore, yet it still does.
People these days love to be on the gravy train thinking that they are so much smarter than LE. Solitary confinement hasn't made this man snap. He's not insane. He knows acting like a looney has some benefits. He's a manipulative pos that knows his time is up...Defence is having a field day proclaiming psychosis yet you kinda have to have some sort of history for that. I can see through that game - Glad the prison staff and psychiatrist can too. The fact that they think he's faking it screams volumes.
Allen "confessed" falsely because of psychological and physical coercion in prison. If somebody has doubts about the coercion, I invite him/her to stay inside for a month as Allen did, and see if you can cope with the DA, guards, and inmates' constant pressure, attacks, and shouting. In a month you will confess you shot JFK too, only to get out of that hell hole. Those alleged details were told to Allen by the DA's employees, guards, or inmates. They planted a confession in his mind because the DA is under tremendous pressure from the public for not having solved a case for so long and for arresting many innocent suspects. The DA and the judge are corrupt.
I think the judge should be replaced she has already decided he is guilty.I don't know if he is or not but his man; 's life is ruined and IF the police got this wrong this is beyond devastating..

If they really wanted to know whether his confessions were real they should have taken him to that bridge and to that forest and SHOW them where exactly did he take the girls and how did he unalive them. The way the girls were unalived was not released to the public, so only small amount of people knew. Second he should have told WHY the girls were undressed and one was wearing other’s clothes. First i was thinking he tried to dress them and wet clothes wouldnt fit so he did what he managed, but the coroner said Abby met her last breath dressed, so it leaves my question: why were they dressed like that.
Bingo. 61 confessions but LE never bothered to set him down and video a confession where he goes into detail about how he killed them. Ask yourself why folks.
@@ignoringmoronsWell, he confessed to his psychologist and his family. I don’t understand why none if them asked him more questions and for more details. If they would have, we would have more to go on. But I do agree, once he confessed to the jail staff and the psychologist, it seems like it would have been a good idea to see if he would make a recorded statement. But on the other hand, his lawyers most likely would not have allowed him to talk.
This has been debunked so many times. He had NO information that had never been released. The investigators fed him information, the psychologist who was fired for misconduct and who was obsessed with the case gave him information. And you can tell he’s the bridge guy based on a blurry picture with his face down? That man was estimated to be 5’10 and RA is 5’4. It’s sad people as stupid as you are on juries. Can someone please fill me in if I missed any facts: Why does it seem assumed that the man that was filmed on the girls phone is as A FACT, assumed to be the killer, let alone Richard Allan??🤔🤔😲🤷♀️ Could they not have just filmed this “bridge guy” they felt was making them uncomfortable and it NOT NECESSARILY be the killer? Could it not be that they were just filming scenery and maybe the “bridge guy” was just there giving them directions to something that was “down the hill” ?🤷♀️
@megzpittle3592 I agree 100%. Everyone is just assuming it's him. And if you research it he was at the end of the bridge and NOT by them and you could barley see him in the video. THE POLICE blew it up and enhanced the features then used AI to make him walk in THEIR video they put out. And everyone is saying it's his voice but if you actually record your own voice on your phone then listen to it, it doesn't even sound like you. So how would we know if that is him on the audio unless they record his voice on THE EXACT KIND of phone she had then listen to it. To many things IMO in this trial are a sham and them wanting to accuse him so bad so they can close this case.
I thought that, the video and the voice are too close together the man seen seems to be strolling along minding his own. Watch Andrea Burkhart on here she's amazing, and like she said (she's been in court every day watching this so has seen this whole video unedited) the man would be out of puff saying "down the hill" as he would have had to of run to them in the time he's videod to saying down the hill... I also can't see a gun in hand with BG? I really wish they'd let us see this for ourselves, so hard to make sense of it!!
People who say he doesn't have a criminal history need to know that he was spoken to by police in a domestic violence incident regarding his wife years ago. She decided to not press charges. Just because somebody doesn't have any convictions in their history does not mean that they haven't done anything of a criminal nature
I am f-ing shaking. I'm so upset with this judge & prosecuter. We all should hope we never land in this court room. They are using RA as a scapegoat, just to solve this case. They have let the real killer go. Its so obvious that he is innocent.
I find myself changing my mind on this case. RA was in isolation for so long, he had a complete mental breakdown. His confessions came off as fake to me. He was willing to do anything to get out of his situation. IMO… not guilty. Reasonable doubt. Inocense project?
Anybody is capable of doing the unthinkable under certain circumstances. We see it happen all the time in the world of crime. I believe this because I grew up in a abusive home and at times didn't know how to be. Act because the way the abusive persons act toward other people. So I have feared people most of my life because the abuser could be very nice infrount of others.
I truly hope the jurors don’t trust any evidence, there’s wayyyy too much reasonable doubt. There should really be a judicial rule that if an inmate is incarcerated in solitary confinement longer than allowed by law, any evidence that may come from said inmate, is automatically denied for use in court proceedings. There has to be a negative consequence for both LE & the prosecution, in order to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen to anyone else.
3:22 in and this is already incredibly disingenuous! You read the "details" of his confession as if he stated all of this in one fluid conversation. HE DID NOT! You should have prefaced your bullet points with the fact that these comments came after his so called therapist was telling him details of what ppl were posting on line, after being in solitary for an extended period, they were random and disjointed. I WANT JUSTICE FOR ABBY & LIBBY! Forcing a mental breakdown on someone so that they will confess to a crime the may very well be innocent of is NOT JUSTICE.
Kelsis story is so crazy. She dropped the girls off. Went to her boyfriend. Helped him clean his car. Took a shower. Changed into some clean clothes she always keeps in her car! And her DNA was found on one of the victims! Are you sure you and your boyfriend are not involved Kelsi?
#CourtTV - What do YOU think?

I was convinced of RA's guilt but now knowing so much more its not so black and white. The way he was kept, almost tortured, for over a year makes me wonder about his mental health (that was already fragile) and how that might have affected his confessions. I just pray Abby, Libby and their families get the justice they deserve.
@@brendapadgett8063 He wasn't tortured! He has a tortured conscience, that's a different thing.

His "confessions" seem like they were tortured out of him and should be treated as such. He's been driven to psychosis.
Exactly.

This only after having been given access to the evidentiary discovery and force-fed drugs which are know to cause
psychosis when taken together. Not to mention the so called doctor who testified to said confessions, turned out to be a true crime fan who was heavily involved with the online discussions of the Delphi murders. Make it make sense Vinnie!!

You should be an attorney in this
Excellent questions.
Also it takes longer than 43 seconds to walk even fast the whole way of that bridge

I think he was tortured until he confessed. I think he was fed those details from somebody who knew a lot about the case.
He also confessed to killing his wife, his daughter, his non-existent grandchildren, and two men.
Yes the therapist.
He was in a prolonged psychotic episode due to the trauma of being falsely accused and imprisoned
I think the Jury sees everything. We don't. They will decide. God bless them for having to make such a decision.
Can they not run his speech through a voice analysis program. Haldol is to help break a psychotic episode. It’s not to continually stone him at. They need someone to explain the haldol, how often it was used, and intention. People are freaking out too much about this.
He was given long acting injections that last 3 months
Haldol is frequently administered to sedate a patient. Can’t imagine that any confession would be viable while under influence of that medication, especially if it was being administered during a psychotic episode. Confession shouldn’t be admissible until he was no longer in the episode or under influence of medication. Just my two cents as a nurse.
They also give Haldol for calming patients at end of life. To keep them comfortable .. so it is a pretty strong drug
He killed two innocent little girls Justice for these babies
Commenting 20 times under this video doesn’t make your point valid. There is more than enough reasonable doubt to acquit this man. People DO make false confessions, RA WAS subject to unjust treatment and the investigation along with the trial has been grossly mishandled.

Could it stop registering movement if phone is switched off???
And?
That confession did not have many details... I would need more info.
That bridge has always looked so dangerous to me. I'm an adult and I wouldn't walk on it. Who would let their two young daughters go out On that bridge? That's not Victim blaming. It's just always amazed me that those that was too young girls would be out there In the first place.
They were disobedient.

Seriously feeling same
Yeah. None of that proves he killed anyone
People these days love to be on the gravy train thinking that they are so much smarter than LE. Makes them feel super 'smart' to oppose the facts that are there lol "Internet sleuths" or whatever they are called need to calm the F down and stay in their lanes.
@@sethstine4698 How do you think people were convicted prior to DNA? Circumstantial evidence and good old common sense and logic.
@@ActingbadlyA lot of innocent people were convicted back then.
I still don’t have a firm understanding of whether RA made those detailed confessions before or after discovery. But maybe this segment will clarify.
How did the state determine WHEN the casing from his gun was found between the bodies. Could it have been there for days, weeks, etc.?
What the hell is wrong with you Bob he murdered two innocent little girls and you guys are actually feeling sorry for his actions how pathetic

Yes bc he the fact he had a history of SA his sister, he was sx addict and an alcoholic we should disregard this information just focus on the sensationalism that people want to believe in.

@@Beyatchenator not lies it came out his mouth and if you don’t understand mental health, and that a history of SA is not something you grow out of.
He knew too much about the crime and the scene his mental health suffered imo is because he committed the crime and no one would accept his confession.
@@msangelz lol. He knew nothing about the crime other than what he made up in his mind after seeing crime scene photos. I happen to know a lot about mental health. this guy was very sick at the time.
If he wanted to confess, he would sit down and give a detailed account of what happened.
The guy went for a walk one day. He had nothing to do with this crime.
Go and find the real killer.
@ you may know mental health but that doesn’t make you an expert! He went for a walk on the bridge and watched the fish and checked his stocks on his phone on the same day Abby and Libby . He never saw anyone pass him except he mentions the three girls! Wow he must of been so focused on the fish from the bridge he didn’t see Abby or Libby or BG! Was just him on the bridge and the fish 🐟 ☺️☺️

really wish court TV would stop playing that lame clip with the guy heckling Richard .. its so cringe and he comes across as an unhinged angry villager with pitch fork waiting to see a witch burn ...
This case has been tainted soooo terribly. Im not sure if he is actually guilty or not, but he this should be found not guilty. Shame on this judge.
How do we know these confessions are actually accurate and not fake if there is no proof? With audio not being available to back up the claims?
RA looks like bridge guy to me and knows details of the crime scene that's never been released.
No wonder innocent people are convicted crimes they didn’t commit
They take an oath to report anything that could be dangerous for community, places or ppl. Just like a doctor or teacher has to report any information that could cause harm to ppl. I’m sure she informed him at some point that she is mandated to report certain things if he goes there
Can someone please fill me in if I missed any facts:
Why does it seem assumed that the man that was filmed on the girls phone is as A FACT, assumed to be the killer, let alone Richard Allan??🤔🤔😲🤷♀️
Could they not have just filmed this “bridge guy” they felt was making them uncomfortable and it NOT NECESSARILY be the killer?
Could it not be that they were just filming scenery and maybe the “bridge guy” was just there giving them directions to something that was “down the hill” ?🤷♀️
Yes! I've thought the same thing!

HE DID NOT! I WANT JUSTICE FOR ABBY & LIBBY! Forcing a mental breakdown on someone so that they will confess to a crime the may very well be innocent of is NOT JUSTICE.
