Witnesses said they saw: a tall guy, a not short guy, a muscular guy, a guy in his 20’s or 30’s, a guy with bushy brown hair. None of these things describe Allen. The one lady that saw him from her car gave inconsistent statements such as saying that she couldn’t tell if she was 3 or 20 feet away from him. Her first statement said he was muddy, the subsequent times he was muddy and bloody. He still seems really sketchy in my opinion but being fair to him, these witness statements aren’t conclusive at all.

Richard Allen's phone left the bridge and he was gone by 2:15 PM. Period. The quality of the evidence against him is horrifyingly weak and inconsistent. It makes me sick. Ever since the "today is the day" press conference, I felt something was wrong. I'm glad most people feel the same. Hopefully the jury does, too.
You have incorrect/outdated information. 1. His 2017 phone was the only one not found during the search of his house, and 2. The data they were able to obtain regarding the phone he claimed he had (using MEID from the original interview they had with RA back in 2017 and geofencing) showed that his phone was not recorded as being on the bridge that day (left in his car or at home, did not ping off the tower). He was not distracted by a stock ticker as he claimed. I encourage you not to use Twitter or UA-cam as your only source of information. Yes, the case was completely mishandled, and yes, some of Judge Gull’s actions have been questionable. But he placed himself there, confessed, stated several times “it doesn’t matter, it’s over” when his house was being searched, etc. Unfortunately, given the facts that has come out so far, it would seem that he did commit this awful crime. But we should all wait until all the evidence has come out.
The witness describing the man they saw as a 20-30 year old cannot be bridge guy. The fact that they said “oh yeah that’s the same guy” is going to kill this case. Witnesses (especially ones not directly involved in the situation) are NOT reliable, period. To me, Bridge guy definitely sounds and looks older than 20-30 years old. He walks and moves like men over 40
We only have a two-second clip on a loop. It's impossible to say from that how a person walks and moves, especially since the spliced part occurs mid-step, making it look almost as if Bridge Guy has a limp. I am deeply troubled by the weakness of the evidence here, but I can still be pretty objective about what we DO have.
Guilty or not, they’ve done the families and victims a disservice by bringing trash evidence to trial. If he’s convicted based on what we’ve heard so far, our system has failed.

It happens in all courts in all states because of this anti-gun sentiment that we have in this country that wants to oppose the second second amendment.. These types of brainwashing is subtle, but it’s intently done. You see it all the time. None of the witnesses saw Allen. Wow. None of them said RA in the courtroom was the person they saw.
Did anyone see the girls there? Just wondering if it was just luck that no one saw him (or the girls)
@jemmavicary6397 Betsy Blair did
he was disguised though
Witnesses said they saw: a tall guy, a not short guy, a muscular guy, a guy in his 20’s or 30’s, a guy with bushy brown hair. None of these things describe Allen. The one lady that saw him from her car gave inconsistent statements such as saying that she couldn’t tell if she was 3 or 20 feet away from him. Her first statement said he was muddy, the subsequent times he was muddy and bloody.
He still seems really sketchy in my opinion but being fair to him, these witness statements aren’t conclusive at all.

I agree, that press conference was very cringe….and didn’t he say there were more than one person involved
He is on the bridge. He looks like the guy, he has the exact shells and caliber weapon. He has a problem
But not all men over 40.
We only have a two-second clip on a loop. @@mariac.9727 That's how I heard it. I just listened back, and it seems clear. See if you get the same impression.
At 8:30 of today's video of the timeline, she mentions he is right behind her. She also mentions it again a little later.
@@VioletJoy how is he right behind her and yet the video of him walking towards her
All corrupt. He was railroaded.
@@JasonCManley Common sense and eyeballs.
Oh, this doesn't sound so good.
I still believe it was the older guy that lived just down the Hill. He's passed away now but the walk matched the this old guy. They were found on the older guy's property. Can't remember his name but I believe it was him that killed the girls. I don't think the guy they are charging is the killer.
Ron Logan was the old man. They have more evidence against him and the father son duo than they have against RA. So much doubt and we haven’t even heard from the defense yet 😳
I agree totally! That man's ex girlfriend even believes it was him on the bridge and other details matched up.
I remember his voice sounded the same, but I doubt it. Did you see the stick drawings? Looks like a serial killer or some kind of practice. Hopefully they’ll conduct a proper investigation.
I saw that video too and thought he looked exactly like bridge guy. What was his name !?!?
@@gregorygolando RL R on L ogan
LE should be on trial not Richard Allen.
They fucked this up right in the beginning of finding those poor girls. I don’t even think they have the right person not even close to so sad 😢
Great coverage! Miss Jackson explains the courtroom dynamics very well.
She get's right to the point, not everything verbatim to understand.
Witness testimony is the most unreliable form of evidence.
When I was in law school, as a demonstration, my professor, had someone run into the classroom and grab her purse off the desk.
She did not tell us this was going to happen. Then asked us to describe him. People got so many things wrong in the description it was unbelievable.
This lawyer is spot on.
Judge C Gull has a lot to answer for, the absence of camera is forcing all the trial attendees to go through hundreds of sheets of paper. Environmentally very unfriendly
This whole [secret] trial deal seems really sketchy.
Oh my goodness never ever ever 'volunteer' anything to these people. He has spent 1 and a half years in solitary confinement. And they are drugging him up and claiming that he confessed to inmates. They are torturing him!
Another example of excellent reporting WTHR. Respect.
This is excellent reporting on the case! Bob Segall is also doing a great job with his X posts. Thank you for bringing this since the public has been blocked from seeing the trial by Judge Gull.
I don't think this guy did it
I have actually wondered if it is a woman....possibly the one that said she saw a man with blood and mud on him.... because there is no evidence of abuse. The majority of the time when young people are killed it has a s.x.al element to it, this doesn't.
Did you watch the whole video?
@@maxpainmedia yes.... there are too many things not adding up...eg. The girls were not SA'd...which would be the most likely reason for someone to take a young girls life sad to say. That is just ONE thing that doesn't add up, there are other things.
got my doubts
What about the bullet? Idk what's going on did they plant the matching bullets?
Richard Allen was targeted!
This is the most informative information I have watched of this trial
What about this idea... Richard Allan came forward BECAUSE he was a concerned citizen and was just giving information as for a timeline situation? So now if i witness a crime i will NOT report it as i will then be charged in the crime!!! What a world we live in these days.... DO NOT report a crime if you do youre GUILTY !!!
@JasonCManley that doesn’t appear to be the case at all in this case. There’s tons of exculpatory evidence so far, the crooked judge isn’t letting any of in for the jury to see.
If he’s guilty they’re definitely appealing. This is a miscarriage of justice and those that have followed this case from the beginning know.
Yeah if you was there and there’s evidence towards you then it’s probably you!!! We’ll see it’s only the first week, i believe there was a group of these freaks out there waiting and he’s the one who got caught up in his own mistakes!!!! Is about to get really good in the next 2-3 weeks!!!!
Buddy, I witnessed a crime once and reported it. I got slapped with bogus charges because of it. Never again.
@@roadkillavenger1325Happened to me too. Fortunately I got everything dropped pretty quick and a decent settlement
Think, THINK ! ......Why is there ONLY a short video clip of the man on the bridge looking down ? This is very suspicious ! Why is there no information about the tracking location of Richard Allen's cellphone and the two girls cellphone location tracking ?
And people wonder Why Nobody likes to come forward anymore in Cases like this 😢
I believe the state has ruined this mans life and allowed a killer to go free.
12 people have decided this statement isn’t true, but I can’t get over how this man could possibly be innocent, but here we are 😔
Bridge guy 5'10" large man tall 20-30 yo. Richard Allen 5'4"short and fat at the time. Hello, are you in there? Frame job! Cops dirty hands.
The bridge guys dose NOT look tall the video is far away he only apperars tall
@@white_genocide2050 witness statement.
@@white_genocide20505 10 is not tall 5 4 is short. It can be calcualted by measuring deck of bridge and geometric calculation. Off by 6 inches is too far off. Not a match
Yup. Total set up.
@@jacquelinechellis4036 So explain the 60 plus things Allen wrote in his several confessions that only the killer would know? See he said things only someone who was there would know. In my opinion you can’t just dust that under the rug.
Great coverage from WTHR guys. Your reporters from inside the courtroom are really delivering the goods.
He said it’s over because once you’re accused it’s over. Guilty or not.
Exactly. Also everyone in the town would find out and think he killed those girls. He didn’t confess. He rightfully knew his life was over.
Maybe that what he meant but I’m afraid we will never know for sure
Yep ,once they've got a warrant to search you're done !
‘It doesnt matter its over” could mean: I dont need that paper form for the broken stuff, because he is mostly happy that the search of his family house is over.
@@Mina-mo1ki Good thought.
Thank you, guys, for a great debrief. You do a great job,
Abby and Libby deserve justice but the State is very obviously railroading an innocent man. Tragic 😢
