Not a fan of spiral staircases - always think 'how easy to get a sofa/bed/table up those' and it's always a nope. Rupreet and Sundeep really went ham on their house; looks great.
It’s interesting how they time and again tell potential buyers that the traffic noise is just what it is. It seems like people in Britain don’t seem to care much about solving traffic views and noise.
My grandaunt was a fabulous baker (and cook). They had a very nice kitchen and dining room. For one of her "special" birthdays, my grand uncle surprised her with a remodel with a triple oven. I will never forget the look on her face when he told her. She was thrilled! And so were we all! And that was in the late 1950's!
I agreewithpapermoontarot4, if you want healthy safe cats, keep them inside. There is so much danger letting them outside. Cars, fighting, catching viruses, there are studies that show how much longer inside cats live!
So, he's saying that, because of the work they did on the house, they can't afford a cat? What does she want, a Maine Coon or something? Even so. Thin, very thin excuse.
I never understand why people want outdoor space for cats in a city where the cats will climb their fence and take off and/or they will be run over by a car promptly. Why not have indoor cats?
@@ngahuiroimatanutira-langda4153 Good point. We have a little covered ramp that goes from our window to a small cat house so she can sit on the ramp and be outside but not loose, and we can put her litter in the little house so it's not inside ours. Works great.
My understanding is that the general feeling in the UK is that cats should be indoor/outdoor pets, not just indoor ones. I've heard that it can be difficult to adopt a rescue cat there if you don't have outdoor space for them. It's more like the requirements for adopting a dog from a rescue in Canada and the US. You're not going to be considered unless there's no other option, and often not then either.
@@jennie9 Interesting. I hope on a busy city street that their cats don't just take off from their garden. Perhaps they're better trained in the UK than my cats!
The second house is very nice, but I'll never understand this modern need to swamp their kids with useless toys and gadgets. I was perfectly happy with two toys. With 5 kids, even though it was a big house, my mother would never let us fill it with childish crap. Instead, we had an adult library and learned to read early and that was most of our entertainment on rainy days.
To each his own, reading and books come first in our house (as they did with me and my 3 sisters), but toys and gadgets are good too, everything is something to learn about...
the common line that slays me; we need to be close to cafes and pubs. sure until you have kids then you can forget that or how about the economy tanking and all the cafes and pubs closing. great now you are in the midst of a decaying place. yay!!!!! 15 min cities ? and you believe that you will be allowed to commute? tsk tsk.

How fun to revisit earlier homebuyers and see how they’re doing now.
Always great to watch updates - beautifully done houses.
How lovely to revisit. Both the couples have done great.
My favourite co-presenters Brilliant ☺️
Love the flat in the adorable pink building
Lovely houses, lovely families, stunning places, I love all these shows!

I think this is Kirstie at the height of her beauty ! Her hair, her skin just glowing. I know the show is old .
I love seeing people bringing properties into a new vision.

"It's quite decadent!" Don't hold back, Phil!
Gorgeous Harrow home, but THREE ovens??

It's a microwave
One might be a convection oven

In that two-floor flat, why is there a fridge in the bedroom? Off-putting if the kitchen is upstairs and the fridge... in the downstairs bedroom?
It was rented out when they viewed it , with many more than one flatmate living there and one maybe with a personal fridge?
Catherine and Tim are one of those couples who look alike!
As an American, I am shocked how little these home buyers get for their money, good grief, many houses, to me, are derelict

Maybe he doesn't want a cat, period. I don't blame him.
Garden 2nd house is lovely for a cat. Now where is the cat?
He won't allow her to have a cat. 🤦🏻♀
35:42 it sounds like he does not share her love for cats.

I agree! Cats do not need to go outside. And by being indoor cats, so many songbirds are saved from death!
If I had a cat, I would want outdoor space for a cat outdoor enclosure, which is fairly common now.

The black white and purplw house... for me is sterile and harsh.
Do they own the hole building and I love you and Kristy please send me all you do

Another poor video..........great how the unnecessary subtitles black out half the picture! Well done!
You can click the cc at the top of the page to remove the subtitles. It's done by UA-cam, not the uploader
