A live-in boyfriend who is not contributing to the finances of buying a flat should have absolutely NO say in what the lady buys!
I don't live in the UK, but I understand that Battersea has become a thriving, high-priced area. An investment there some years ago would be paying off now!
watching this on 2021 lol a flat in London for 215k you wish!!!!
Kirstie is SO YOUNG here. And adorable.
She had a bit of style too, which has been replaced by wearing oversized dresses made from old curtains.
They were both young, it's amazing to see how time can make such a difference on your skin and weight. 🤷
@@samiapassos9659 Miow!
@@ariescustom she was pregnant when doing some of these shows ...
Wow you can really see how things have gone wrong with with the ratio of people’s salaries compared to the increase in property value today, those flats must have increased in value by at least 100%
The Garden Flat was a good choice....Gardening is For-Giving!
After seein 1006 flats? WHY dont you just wait until it cost a million!?
I liked the purple colour in the ground floor flat
Wonder what is the price now

I wonder why she can't find a flat!

Bollocks to character-free new builds.

She must of been in a foul off mood. With her.
Since when did women start providing homes for men?
The relationship just popped up at the time.
Any reason they shouldn't?
@@resnonverba137 God meant men to be providers and protectors of women. To provide a nest so that she could bear children in comfort and safety without the stress of leaving the home and them.
@@debfryer2437 There are not only many women that would take offence to that attitude, there are many Christians who would be unimpressed. That's even before the feminists have their say...
@@resnonverba137 Let them take offense. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. I’m more concerned about my standing before God than I am before men.
I personally, would rather have people above me than under me
Never ever a lease
Why
Only leasehold is affordable for most buyers in London and other expensive locations. So you either have to move very far away from your friends, family, job etc or buy a leasehold which is better than flushing rent money down the toilet. Most people have done very well out of them - nearly all leaseholds have gone up considerably in value over the last 5 / 10 / 20 years in London. For example the flats in this vid are now worth at least double.
Most flats are leasehold.
@@TheGalactica2001 No, it means you only have possession of the property for 100 years. With flats, they're leasehold because no one resident owns the land; in which case there may be a charge for upkeep of the grounds (ground rent).
@@blackpillbishop5016 Because leasehold is just the illusion of ownership. You're just renting. If you paid off the mortgage on the flat and then the lease ran out you would own fuck-all. Biggest con ever which is why they're trying to get rid of it. Thank fuck we don't have it here in Scotland.
This isn't Part 2--it's just a repeat of Part 1.
