I always cringe when an artist, or a patron. says they are combining red and green in a project. I have visions of muddy brown, or bad Christmas ornaments. I should have known to trust your skills with your chosen media. You created another exquisite piece, with or without being lighted. You've done yourself proud, yet again. Thank you for consistently turning out great pieces for our edification and enjoyment.

Jim, this piece turned out well, Outstanding! When I saw the clumps of resin drop in and heard you sigh, I was worried. However, I believe the concentration/separation worked really well.. while still having some great mixture in other places. Was it the black pearl that made the green color pop so much under the black light? Whatever causes it... it's very cool!
I'm sure this gift will be well received! KUDOS to the sweet husband that reached out to you for his wife's surprise gift too.
In regards to your Sprague-Spooky endeavors next week it might be cool to add a few glow in the dark colors to the black in some way. Wishing you and your wife a great weekend.

With a little imagination, I think I can see a dragon shape in the red resin! When it comes to demolding, I imagine the music from Star Wars swelling in the background, especially when the bucket goes to the floor! "Oh things are getting serious! Jim's putting it on the floor!!"

This is brilliant, Jim! A really abstract impression of the Welsh flag! Being in Liverpool, I can be in Wales within 45 minutes, so I know all about Welsh folk. They are very passionate about their cultural identity, so I was pleased to see you get the colours right and your explanation of why you weren't using an ACTUAL dragon should keep them happy! They will "Keep a Welcome in the Hillsides and the Vales" for you!!
I like the idea of a merch line, and I'll look forward to seeing what all of us can come up with for t-shirts, hats etc!

This piece turned out wonderfully. Maybe it's me, but I see hints of the Welsh dragons in the resin. I love the fact that you're not afraid to use bold colours together. Admittedly, I'm partial to blues, purples, and greens, but the colours are so vibrant that it seems to bring a spark of life to the wood in the pieces you do. Thank you for sharing your craft with us.

T shirt idea “Mighty Nice” with a 👍 up. 😉
Very cool this week Jim I can see a dragon 🐉 emerging out of the clouds. I was worried about the water in the pressure pot… I thought maybe it would boil over 😅 thanks for sharing this week!

I was worried about that too, don’t think it gets quite that hot to boil water, but possibly. Thank you very much!

Absolutely lovely. It gives both Welsh flag vibes, and Cherry Blossom vibes. ❤

I wasnt sure about the use of the 3 colors but you did it right so the color separation turned out right! I did worry a bit when it looked like it thickened like pudding, I was afraid it would have bubbles.
I LOVE the shape, its sort of like a fishbowl shape! Im sure your customer will be very happy!
As a slogan, maybe "Let's pop it in the clean room!" ?
    Thanks Jim!❤

That's another fabulous piece. Personally I'd have liked for the red and green to have been slightly more muted. However, im sure that the recipient is going to love it.

Got to admit that color separation is something else and I think you nailed the flag colors.

The colors and separation are absolutely spectacular! I was kind of worried when the resin was initially pouring and it was "blobby" but I shouldn't have. Thanks for another great video.
