@zstampe Thanks. Installed them today, you can sure hear a clear difference compared to factory, but they definitely need an amp to sound loud crisp and clear. Will be adding a 5 channel amp(so I can add a sub later on too) as it's only putting out like 40watt per speaker without one.
So did u put the same 6x9 in the front and back doors? I have an 09 and recently installed a pioneer head unit that pushes more watts and it can easily overpower the factory speakers. I was looking at Kicker 6x9 for the back and 6.5 for the front door. What's your thoughts? Would appreciate hearing what u think since you're a step ahead of me. Thanks man
I did use 6x9 front and back. Depending on the speaker the magnet will hit the window frame but with a small spacer these fit just fine and sound great
@@zstampe😂😂 i have a ranchhand on my cummins and its paid for itself already. I guess I'm weird but if my truck has a feature I want it to work. Maybe ill get the full replacement ranchhand and put the sensors in that
From stock to the kicker upgrade is it a huge difference? I have the 2018 Dodge Charger alpine system six speaker. Looking at getting the speakers but I heard from people that I will loose volume and the sound won’t be loud. Can you give me your opinion, thanks nice truck
I didn’t lose sound on mine, I’ve heard that the uconnect 8.4 system has more wattage but I’m not sure that’s true. These go up proud enough that it’s uncomfortable lol.
**** everyone***** Spacers needed for front Order the 1/4 inch Generic 6x9 spacers from Metra or Scotsch. The 1/4 is too much. Or if you’re a handsom kinda person. You can use some the surrounds on the oem speakers if you have a Drimmel. Obviously did dude gets more tipsy on the Latte as the video goes on!

This vid explained why all the car audio sites say the 6x9 won’t fit the front door just need a spacer they should say that its such an easy fix

Alpine system is far better than this bargain lot kicker crap. Kicker made quality products in 99...

You forgot to add that a couple lattes are a must for every install
