Watch a full tutorial as a 2019 Ram Truck Rebel will have a front door midrange 6x9" speaker and tweeter in the dash location. We will be using the Alpine S-S69C 6x9" component speakers for enhanced audio quality while keeping the factory look. We are retaining the factory radio.
NOTE: Our Ram truck was equipped with ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) which may need to be bypassed if you are getting any feedback in your newly installed door speakers. We can link the bypass in the description which is installed under the driver side front seat if needed.
NOTE: Our ram also wasn't equipped with the Alpine audio sound system. If you have the alpine audio system, you may need a different (lower) impedance speaker to be most compatible with that factory amplifier. We can link those specific speakers below.
This video applies to Ram Trucks / Rebel models for years 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023+. This video also includes door trim removal, complete speaker wiring instructions, installation, and testing.

With this being the 6 speaker base system are you using just the factory head unit to power the tweeters and 6x9 speakers? If so how do they sound? I want to upgrade my factory speakers but I hear a lot of people that just update to aftermarket speakers the sound actually gets worse cus of the ohm rating difference etc. without a amp installed to power the speakers.

Does it make sense to install an additional amplifier on the speakers? Or do they play well without him? They say that if you don't install an amplifier, the speakers begin to whine at high volumes.

If im only doing speaker and tweeter replacement ( no sub) with this exact set up, do i need to do an amp as well?

No, but you can always benefit with adding an amp. Sure, this can all run off of the OEM radio's power.
