In I believe 08 it was. Shane Jake chima dustin and Lewis came and did a demo in memory of Shane. Legit hands down the best demo I’ve ever been too. The energy was just super real. Those guys set up a projector they had with them an shared an edit they had put together for Shane. I was literally on chimas nuts after seeing him skate. Me and my boy KK instantly starting dressing like him and doing the tricks he did. We even had the chukka lows tie die Shane cross editions. Literally such a great time in my life frfr

I remember walking around the city, first thing in the morning (we'd been out all night) getting people to check my mates headspin out (breakdancing) we would entertain the strap hangers in the morning, they always loved it. PS: talking about his brother, bigging him up to everyone.

I grew up with Chima. He uses his mum's last name because his real one used the whole alphabet twice. I remember him roller blading as a 10 year old trying to do tricks at the flats. Stacked it hard every time and just got up and went again. All round great guy.
