Chima Ferguson's "Nice to See You" Vans Part

- Chima’s resume had him in the top tier, but this new part elevates him into the pantheon of all-timer greats. Those Martin’s Place hammers carry major weight.

The skater dad we all wanted.
When I was younger my dad called the cops on a kid down the street for skating a bus bench. He was not a skate dad.
@@ashleybrown4754 do you skate now? That's karma.
Facts
@@sk8_bort I started in 95 and have never stopped.
@@ashleybrown4754 never stop that’s dope
Jesus Christ, dude's going harder than ever! Last 3 minutes, all enders.
@3:55 it got really real. Wow
Right! Wtf just happened....😐
All of these tricks are worthy finishers
You know skaters have been looking at that double set ender for years saying Nah it's not doable. That shit was absolutely insane
Martin Place.
He did another down into the entrance,
I dont know if youve walked it,
You dont look at it and go
Oh yeah thats doable.
He's dwarfing shit in this.
What a legend 🇦🇺💪
@@rambojonj1838 can't believe Martin place is still being destroyed after all these years. Has to be the most iconic spot in Australia, maybe Flinders St rail.
For those of you who are unaware, next to is is the Sheckler Gap from Almost Round 3 which is batshit crazy to think about. Honestly the 2 angle's don't do it much justice. If you have ever been there its the kind of spot that you look at and think imagine if someone ollie'd this then think that it's a shame it's probably not doable.
It's kind of a stretch but now I kind of think that it's only a matter of time before someone tries to Kickflip it.
word, remember sheckla or whatever his name was
@@rambojonj1838 extremely well said
That last Ollie was beautiful
your channel is beautiful
Otay otay
no u
If you watch carefully it was actually a one-footed ollie / ollie north
Seeing the people inside watching him doing that insanity was sweet
This gave me Reynolds stay gold vibe best chima part ever no doubt so clean
Exactly what I was thinking! Big boss like shit!
Best Chima’s part ever!
I've got a soft spot for his 14 munted days part. Probably just the nostalgia but he did kill it.
god level
The inverted back 360 and that sw 360 flip are God tier tricks. He makes it look easy but never seen anyone else do what he did and all of it being Straya!
That was excellent. Somehow he has gotten even better after jumping down flights for nearly two decades.
He’s the Australian Reynolds, crazy this dude is skating better than he was like 15 years ago for Let’s Live.
I was thinking the same thing. That Ollie ender is so huge. My knees hurt just from watching.
YUP!
I’m pretty sure he was only like 17 in let’s live so insane how Chima has just kept progressing with the level of skating and never like fallen behind , so sick
100%
Watch his part in the Van's Spinng Away video! From that part you knew his wave was coming and he did not disappoint🍻🍻🍻🍻
Think I just said “Wow” or “Woah” to every trick! Killed it!!
haha same.
Same bro hahaha
Same
Lol same!
Fr tho
Holy shit.. what a part! That 9 flat 8 is absolutely insane!!!!!!!!!!!
I’d call that a “double flat” honestly
Meh, I would do it switch
@@greens294 Nobody asked
Straight up. That was some Matt Shlager level huge shit. Difference being, of course, that Chima handled it. I honestly think Shlager just liked hurting himself.
Chima handles his shit like a grown ass man, this part gave me the same feeling i get whenever i'm lucky enough to see a pro skate in person. Unreal.
Dude I got the same feeling somehow. That's so deep. Hit my stomach and gave me chills like I had seen it person
same lol
It’s 2023, and this part ages like wine. Best music selection in forever
All Sydney part!! (From what I can tell)
That last double set in Martin place is absolutely huge! Holy shit!
He smashed every angle of Martin Place from top to bottom.
He officially owns the entire thing now.
Fergo Place 🇦🇺💪
Ladies and gentlemen, our front runner for SOTY!!!!
Amen
Agree
I second this motion.
Has he ever won one? Honestly his legacy is insane. Kickflipped that 20 when he was like 15 or something and since then just goat shit
@@harveybirdman6496 it was an 18 and shortly after is when Dave bachinski did el toro so no one cared
WTF! He killed it, absolutely savage. He destroyed Sydney. This was such a good part.
Certified YT Commentator !! Big ups !!
Best part since Reynolds in Stay Gold. Thanks Chima!
This straight up made me proud to be Australian. No part has physically dropped my jaw this many times upon first viewing. Chima's a fucken national treasure after this one.
Best version of Chima! 🦾
🏆SOTY contender, no doubt.
Give him SOTY and a statue in Martin Place
Would be cool. He's already been Australian skater of the year. Wonder if anyone has gotten both before? Maybe dollin or Shane cross or lewis marnell. But I doubt it.
@@RandyTwang crazy as it is there hasn’t been an Australian Soty. Thrasher soty that is.
@@dannyj5272 yeah didn't think so. Definitely been some deserving ones. Shane cross nose grinded el toro about 20 years ago.
@@RandyTwang yeah Shane was a legend and he was still so young RIP. As for an Australian getting thrashers Soty, I remember a Chima interview a few years back saying he hopes Dane Burman would get it the year Cold War came out so a fellow Aussie could finally win one.
That alley oop back three was amazing. Never seen that done over a rail
There's no Alley-oop in street skateboarding.
@@nedtempleton4873 there’s no Ned Templeton in street skateboarding.
this dude is always putting out the best parts and this part will for sure make him a SOTY contender
Yeah for sure. He's already been soty once. Well Australian soty. I guess most people don't count that.
@@RandyTwang That counts. Watching this part made me think about Australian pros, who Aboriginal skaters are, and just what's going on that side of the world.
@@RandyTwang I didn't know he was soty in Australia that's dope!!!
@@ziggyMcgee420 yeah deffo well deserved aye. Think it was about 10 years ago now.
@@skait174 yeah, there's definitely a pretty sweet skate scene here. Don't hear of many aboriginal skaters, I know a few but not many that make it big just chima and Kieran Riley off the top my head.
Dude has had the same clean crisp style for 15 years and I never get tired of seeing it. And tricks STILL as hard as ever. Instant classic
What an emotional video! Congrats on a great career!!
best Chima part ever filmed
mid 30s and STILL jumping!! I kno these chima parts are fewer are farther between nowadays but when we are blessed with new footy, it's GOOD footy!
Chima brought it hard with this part.
I can’t wait to hear the nine club talk about this part. Y’all need to get him in ASAP!! Would love To hear him talk about this part
Didn't expect this video part to be THIS massive. Holy moly. Switch tre over the rail was insanely perfect.
The hard way too, makes no sense at all. Completely mind melting!
LEGEND!
Breathtaking as it reaches the end
I know you're reading Chima! This was the best part ive seen in a long time! amazing.
One of the best parts I've ever seen !
That last ollie was a ONE FOOT!!! Give the man credit!
This is one of the best parts ever
The most relaxed skater I've seen
Chima is a such a legend I started skating 16 years ago and he was already one of the biggest names in Australian skating way back then. Been a fan of his and watching him absolutely kill it ever since.
Perfect blend of steez, tech, and gnarly hits. This dude has it all
Can we just appreciate all those beautiful lines?
I always sleep on this dude, but he always amazes me everytime he shows up
HE STILL GOT IT
came back to say i love this part so much. chima if you read this. shout out to you bro.
Chima always been killin' it
Who tf downvoted this?!
This is gold. Not enough flip in flip out for you? Kids these days...
Had to have been an accidental slip of the finger, its easy to do I've caught myself doing it multiple times and it makes me wonder about the ones i didnt catch lol
Such a good part, good for you C! Peace n love.
Holy hucking that part was amaze balls!!
woah..im speechless. legit speechless. yeah chima , that was sick !
watching him smash cook and Phillip 17 live and the buzz around sydney skate scene after that and now seeing this 15 odd years later hits the sydney skate pride spot. chima you fucking legend mate keep on keeping on.
Shane Cross is smiling up above! We love you Chima Ferguson 🖤💯🙌🏿
dude is cracked out of his mind. that last trick was completely insane!! that ollie was MASSIVE!
I haven't touched a board in almost 20 years and I still watch more skate videos than anything else
What a masterpiece
All killer, no filler. 🔥👍
the music is so mellow, but the skating is HEAVY METAL
The alley back 3 was just art… the ended just wtf and all the rest just bangers !!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is how I skate in my dreams :)
OMG. This is the best part I've seen this year. You're aging like a fine wine. You've only gotten better over the years. Someone said it in the comments below but I was feeling the Reynolds vibes while watching this one. This was amazing skateboarding. Holy shit. You're insane. Good job guys.
Best nollie frontside flip ever done down a set so clean
Easily one of the greatest parts I’ve ever seen. Great style, mix of tech and big stuff, good tricks.
Love his style. So clean!!
Was just listening to that dusty Springfield song (second song) the other day thinking it would make a good song for a part! Did not disappoint 🙌🏼
fun fact: royalties from that song, written over 50 years ago, still go to mr. Pino Donaggio, a venetian composer!
Woah what a section. Plus Dusty Springfield is amazing
Killer Part Some Crazy Big Unforgettable Master Moments And Monumental Sydney Street Skateboarding Moments..... WORLDWIDE. Congrats On Yo Son Shun...... AL THE HITMAN SMITH PEACE CHIMA....BOOYAAH.
Yeah, Chima! This part went from 35 to 100 really quick. One of the best parts this year in my mind. Great songs, filming, and skating 🍻🍻
Been a fan of this dude since Volcom Let’s Live!!! RIP Shane Cross but good to see Chima ripping it!!
I just can’t get over how massive that double set is
The dude is still jumping down big stuff just as well as he was 15 years ago. One of my favorite skaters ever by far. From the tricks and his style combined is fucking art. I don’t care what anyone says
Damn, nothing but good things to say about his part, a video part I could very safely say I don’t ever have a chance at sticking any of these tricks! Incredible
Wow!!! I’m getting big Andrew Reynolds’s vibes from this part, still it’s incredible Chima going in
One of the best parts I've ever seen! Incredible.
Every Skater should have THE PART. this is the part for chima.
The progression and wow factor since “Killself” is insannnnne. And even that part is still timeless. Well farrrrrking done 👏🏻
My feet hurt after watching this, shit was gnarly dude did every flip trick down a gnarly set of stairs
That varial heel put me over the edge AND THEN like 8 Enders followed
That last Ollie was absolutely insane mate!!!!!!!!!
This was INSANE
Damn he got Tim Roth to bike power him into that crazy double set!
Pshh. Who was it really, I wonder
RIP Shane Cross, I grew up on their skate videos man. Love you Chima keep up the great work homie, glad to see you still got it 🍻
DAMN....
He did those video game gaps! I freaking love when they use nice music in skate vids.
One of the coolest parts I’ve seen in a while! Dude keep killing it, and was waiting to see that double set ollie 🤯
Chima skating to Dusty Springfield is something I didn't know I needed. :)
one of the biggest ollies I’ve ever seen. How has Chima been skating so long and still putting out amazing parts? He’s always had great landing style but his flip tricks look better than ever.
Pure hearted skateboard vibes. I felt like a young kid again watching this.
Recall his first part i watched. The frantic pushes to the most massive kickflip, and being the same age at the time-skating everyday, i couldnt comprehend. Now old, still can't with how body reacts to simple fatigue. Legend. Respect.
Me ganhou pelo rolê e pela trilha sonora ...top
This part is INSANE... Much respect.
Hell ya, I love this dude. If Chima got SOTY I'd cry.
That was so gnarly, what a good fuckin part
A whole part of bangers. Fuckin awesome!
I've watched this 109 times in just days and I'm still in awe
the direction in these skate videos is always fascinating.
Another SOTY contender. It'll come down to Chima, Yuto, or Kyle Walker this year.
Too early tbch
dashawn jordan maybe?
@@jadeackerman8611 if he drops some footage next month
Guy Mariano's part possibly in December

This is so far away. Great skating. Great video. Much love from Wheeling West Virginia. we have a skateboard park. Come check it out.
BRUH that switch tre over the rail at 4:46 is outstanding - this whole part is awesome af well done
I had tears in my eyes that shit was beautiful. I'm speechless
That was disgusting gnarly, after his last part not too long ago I thought
“ this is it, this is Chima’s peak, how could he possibly top this”
Boy, was I wrong.
SOTY. That was fuckin nuts. Switch tre was absurd
Pure effortless.
Alley-opp 360 and switch treflip over big handrails?
Chima is an icon and deserves a lot off resprect.
Thanks for this part
Incomprehensible. Perfection. Love you Chima.
he floated down that double set ender, it looked like he was ski jumping
REAL just has such a stacked team it's insane, what a great part.
That final Ollie was amazing
Congrats china. This man is so long in the game without losing on quality. Crazy to hold that level of skating through all these years.
