Just finished in wheat and barley…one skein strand each for the whole blanket…finished with a single crochet around and fringe using both on 52 inch ends…beautiful…easy…warm…thanks so much❣️
Thank you so very much. I'm a beginner and this is my first project. I'm almost finished and enjoying every moment! I thank you. I'm forever grateful for your tutorials
New subscriber, I just love the way you showed the stitches and explained the details. I crochet a little ,but was not sure which stitch to go into when you turn a row. You explained it very nicely. Thank you so much and I'm looking to find a pink shade, can't wait to start my blanket
Thank you for subscribing! I struggled with the same thing and it’s because of those struggles I wanted to teach others. Save you so much time! I’m excited with you and can’t wait to see your pink blanket ❤️
Oh yay I have a 15mm crochet hook! I've never used my hands to make a blanket only crochet. Usually use 4mm to 5.5mm hook. So this will work up quickly!
Thank you very much! More tutorials coming!! So please stick around. I cater them to beginners trying to explain all of the steps I had to figure out on my own. That way you can learn faster and enjoy your projects sooner :)
I apologize I caught that after publishing and couldn’t correct it. If you are watching on a phone or tablet you can lock your screen orientation and turn it upside down if that helps. All videos published since were turned the correct way 🥰
Hit doing that backwards when you make a chain 20 stitches you're into the second chain from the hook that leaves you with 19 stitches when you make your turning chain you crochet into the first Stitch not second he wanted 20 stitches you have to change 21
I'm so sorry for the previous ones, phone messing up. Love your blanket. Can I use 3 strands of 4 to make this blanket, colors black, white and grey. I have enough yarn to make one and love the colors. Thank you so much and sorry again
For blankets I prefer these hooks here. They are very inexpensive, smooth and I use all 7 sizes for various projects! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08PV73J1N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&th=1

I have never see a video that has the view that your camera is showing. It is like we are looking down on you instead instead of from behind. I think you do an amazing job of explaining, but I still like to see the video from behind the person instead of down on them. It looks like your Crochet hook is in your left hand instead of your right or upside down or something. That’s single crochet is about the easiest did you can do but I can’t imagine watching this while you were doing some thing, a little complicated or using two different stitches, like a single crochet and a half a double and a double. Like I said, I think you’re a very good instructor. I just wish the video didn’t look like that. Thank you.
you are correct! I was learning a whole lot my first two videos but have since corrected that :) Unfortunately since these are already published I'm unable to correct those two videos. As a work around, if you are watching on a phone or tablet you can lock your screen orientation and turn your phone upside down. Sorry for the extra steps but please know all other videos are now showing in the correct orientation.
Love your tutorial but it would be easier for us to visualize if you reversed the camera angle 180 degrees so that we are looking at your hands as if we are looking over your shoulder. This is a great beginner blanket.
Love big chunky throws! Thank you for sharing your skills & projects. Background music is distracting though, expecially when you are talking. Your video is a tutorial and you want the focus to be on what you are teaching, not the music.
Did a lot of talking but didn't explain your starting with two strands, is this from two different skeins? Also didn't include how many skeins to do this project.
I apologize I caught that after publishing and couldn’t correct it. If you are watching on a phone or tablet you can lock your screen orientation and turn it upside down if that helps. All videos published since were turned the correct way 🥰

That’s sounds like a beautiful color combination ❤️ I’m so glad the tutorial helped!

You are so very welcome! There will be lots more to come 🥰

Wow I learned something Wondered why my blankets got wonky on the ends of rows. I learned why today thank you!
You are so welcome! That was the hardest part for me to learn!
Thank you for this tutorial!I've never made a blanket so fast! ❤
You are so welcome. I’m glad it helped!
Nice…love this…looked forever for an afgan that looks different and lovely..who knew it would be single crochet❤
I’m so happy to hear this! Sometimes simple can be best when we add just a little magic to it ❤️
I really do enjoy and appreciate your detailed instruction thank you so much
You are so welcome. Thank you for your kind words ❤️

Yes it will! You will enjoy a beautiful blanket so much sooner 🥰
Just found your channel, love this tutorial. This is a great way to use up some yarn.
Thank you so much. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful chunky blanket!
Thank you! It’s very warm and cozy too :)
Your tutorial was great. I really like how you show and explain the details thoroughly

Interesting. Thanks. Gail

Chunky blanket 🩵🩵
Your a great teacher 😊
Wow, thank you! 🥰
Would like to know how many skeins you would need to complete the blanket you described in your tutorial. Thank you
I used 10 skeins 🥰
Great tutorial
Glad you think so! Thank you so much!
I agree. Video should have been shown at an opposite angle.
I apologize I caught that after publishing and couldn’t correct it. If you are watching on a phone or tablet you can lock your screen orientation and turn it upside down if that helps. All videos published since were turned the correct way 🥰
Do u have a written pattern? Thank you for this video!
Not yet! But I'm happy to notify you once I do ❤️
Much love from Kenya🇰🇪😍,this is beautiful
Much love right back to you! Thank you so very much! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Thank you for your feedback! You are right. I caught that post edit :(
Looks so simple. Now let me try and I know I’ll botch it 😢

Yes absolutely! That is where you can get super creative with the number of strands and different colors :)
You ate such a very pretty lady. Enjoyed your video. Thank you for sharing. Hope you feel better very soon.
Thank you so much! 🥰
This tutorial is great. You make it look so easy. I am going to attempt over the weekend. How many balls of yarn would you recommend?
Thank you so much! What size blanket are you looking to make?
@@redesignedrose I want it to be big and cosy for the sofa 😊 I was just going to follow the measurements in the video x
What brand of crochet hooks do you use? Love this chunky throw.

Tip. If you turn your phone upside down, it looks like you are looking over her shoulder , and not backwards.
I agree with you. So I turned my cell phone upside down
Yeah! I too turned my cellphone 😊

Love your tutorial but it would be easier for us to visualize if you reversed the camera angle 180 degrees so that we are looking at your hands as if we are looking over your shoulder. This is a great beginner blanket.
Thank you for your feedback! I’ve corrected that in all of my other tutorials because you are so right 🥰
Why double a chunky yarn? No wonder it's so heavy. Pretty blanket though.
Super chunky blankets are my favorite :)
Love big chunky throws! Thank you for sharing your skills & projects. Background music is distracting though, expecially when you are talking. Your video is a tutorial and you want the focus to be on what you are teaching, not the music.
Thanks for the tip!
I can barely notice the music! Smh
The dye lots are printed on the label.
Yes this is true!
How many skeins?
For this size blanket I used 10 skeins :)
Goofy newbie question, sorry. You’re using 2 skeins at same time??
I love newbie questions! Yes, using 2 at the same time :) I even have one using 3 at the same time. Just adds volume and texture.
@@redesignedrose
Thank you so much.
You don’t actually explain that at the beginning of the video although it is obvious!
New subscriber 😀
Thank you so much!
Did a lot of talking but didn't explain your starting with two strands, is this from two different skeins? Also didn't include how many skeins to do this project.
Yes this is two skeins at once. In the description of the video I listed all the materials used which was 10 skeins total ☺️
Hard to follow and I was very interested in this blanket, but the angle it was shot was so wrong and kept me lost.
Thank you for your feedback.
T y❤🎉😊
You are so very welcome
This is difficult to watch backwards.
