There's a Jackie Chan movie filmed in Kowloon? I know one of the extremely rare video footage from Kowloon Walled City is in Bloodsport with Jean-Claude van Damme EDIT: I guess Crime Story with Jackie Chan is now on my watchlist 😁
I feel like a crazy person for loving detailed huds. Every game these days with these minimalist huds drive me crazy. In the Monster Hunter Wilds beta the default was to have the hud go away when not doing some things and for it to be "small", I made it permanently on screen and large, and still felt like I wanted it to he bigger and was baffled that it could be any smaller.
Question for Huber: where does the “everything should be on switch” love come from if you never play it portable. Obviously Nintendo’s first party is great, but in terms of power, storage, lack of trophies, and controller I find it to be the worst console to play third party. For me the greatest value of the switch IS the portability. It is mostly my portable indie machine (don’t starve, Hades, etc). I’ve actually never docked mine.
Are Isla and Huber doing the Silent Hill 2 spoiler mode the mentioned? I would love to get their full perspectives on how the Remake handled the story.
I'm surprised damiami prefers the 2d levels in sonic generations. They're pretty universally considered the worst part of the game (but not bad overall) because of poor classic sonic physics and mediocre level design.
You had cackling word-salad taking us to clown-world or convicted-felon taking us to Aldous Huxley's "Brave new world', and the country overwhelmingly chose one over the other. It's normal that some folk end up upset, tomorrow the sun will rise just the same.
I wonder how many of those 205 million GTAV copies are by people that already own the game. I bought it 3 times. Xbox360, PS4, PC versions... Do people on GTA Online that get banned buy it again on new accounts? Don't know if that's a thing
We've got our impressions of the game in this episode. There are fewer of us, and we've been in a part-time structure since the beginning of this year. As such, we have less capacity for formal written reviews. The main content we're focused on is the weekly podcast, group stream, and patreon rewards. Still trying to fit in reviews when we can, but they're essentially a volunteer effort if someone has the time. -Bloodworth
Agreed. Have felt less connected to every iteration since the 80s cartoon. I respect that they're apparently still making great cartoons and games but I find my interest is waning more and more these days.
Ngl, its a bit of a double standard that almost all Nintendo-published games are referred to as "first party" even though loads of them are farmed out to second parties. It's actually a key to their success. Second party in general should be celebrated more. Nice way of putting out games faster, taking more risks and adding variety
@@EasyAllies I could have explained my point a bit better. First party = made by an in-house studio Second party = A non-Nintendo studio makes game for them, e.g. MercurySteam on Metroid Dread It's not a criticism of you guys - you just play good games wherever they are. Just some parts of the internet say that second party games don't count (e.g. Destin, works at IGN) but it's more of a toxic Xbox Vs PlayStation thing that I've noticed this year. It's a bit silly but I suppose fanboyism in general is
Second party is just a made-up enthusiast term without a clear definition. It's not an actual industry term. That point is proven partly by how you're defining it now. When we used it more often during the GameCube days, it referred to studios that Nintendo had an ownership stake in such as Rare and Silicon Knights, and usually those studios were only making games for Nintendo. Simply working with external developers wasn't really defined as such, and they aren't anything new, either. Star Fox, Earthbound, Fire Emblem, Smash Bros., and Kirby were all made in conjunction with external teams. The context is important too. While we enjoy talking about these reports, Nintendo isn't issuing them to fuel fan discussions, they're issuing them to inform investors. It's all about breaking down the revenue. First party = published by Nintendo. They invested the funding to have the game made, they sold it to their customers, and they receive the revenue. Third party means that those games were published by someone else, and Nintendo only received fees, according to their licensing agreements. -Bloodworth
Not saying GTA V wasn't a MASSIVE unit mover but I that number might be artificially high. I know at least 2 people who bought 20 copies of that game when it was cheaper to buy a new copy of game just for the online bucks then to buy them in the game.

I own a switch and own zero mario games if nintendo would cut the price id buy in vht for 70 bucks thats like 7 hours play time and not even a story to experience so its not worth it.
I modded my switch to just be an emulation machine before the steamdeck came out for the same reason, pumping out 5-7 hour shlock that stay $90 in my country isn't the move
Slitterhead is definitely the game I want to play the most this month!
33:12 Gonna need that as a
GIF of Huber 🤣 😂
Time for dad's pills
Still have the voice of Brandon singing that he just can't wait for the switch 😂
5:22 According to Sony, PS2 life time sales number is "Highest Selling Console Number" + 1.
Shadow Generation is a NEW game, is not part of the remaster. It was made in a newer engine.
Slitterhead looks like a modern day version of Shiny Entertainment's Messiah

Gonna search for The Hidden (1987), thanks Huber.
What I want is Super Metroid ported into the Dread engine.
I'd love to see how the speedrun meta for Super would change.

There are three 3D Mario games. Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, and Super Mario 3D All-Stars.

Listening to Damianii describe Shadow and Sonic story and lore incorrectly was painful

why is Damiani on a screen and not in person?
