That's why I pulled my 2.2 in my 99 ext cab s10 and added a 355 V8 in it's place and I did keep it standard shift as well. Got tried of crappy heads and the 2.2 period but it did have over 300 thousand miles 2.
I'm the same way, everytime I think I got all the tools I need underneath, I always end up needing 10 other tools and get out like 20 times lol, the Joy's of fixing cars.
I have an 02 with a v8 starter from 92 4.3 with shorty headers easier to change than that thing! Lol i get tiered from crawling in and out more than the job it's self! Little man can be ur goffer pretty soon he'll know his stuff be a big help!😃 mom will be happy 😁

How hard is it to do a ls swap currently it has a 350 Tbi 88 Silverado???
Not bad if you have some mechanical knowledge
BowtieGuy601 if I was closer I would hire you to do it
Keep up the good work I enjoy the videos!
Don't u love when u get bolts out then wires are to short to let starter hang down
What size ratchets/sockets did you need to do this job?
I think the starter bolts are 13 or 14mm, solenoid on starter is an 8mm
Thanks a ton
13mm
Nice to have that "parts truck" When does the LS swap begin? Good job, respect your resourcefulness. Hope you're doing good. Take care.
Soon if all goes as planned
Too bad Vehicles weren’t built around having a camera viewing everything your working on.
