Here are some things that apply both in the actual clinical setting from your ONLINE NURSING SCHOOL CLINICAL. Whether your school is using Vsim for nursing or iHuman Patients by Kaplan, these tips will really help you make the most out of your online nursing school clinical and simulations. Start school this fall. My fundamentals class has clinicals from 7am-5pm. So I think we’re doing both in person and online clinicals. I hope so cause 10hrs of straight VSim sounds like torture 😅

omg this video is so helpful .. I was so confused on what to check when I was on my spring 2019 clinicals before covid closed down hosptials.. my clinical professor said READ and CHECK EVERYTHING... excuse me the Epic database was rich with info ..
I miss being in a hospital that uses Epic, it made so much sense lol! In my downtime I definitely spent a lot of time browsing charts if I had downtime.

I don’t like the fact that other schools are given 2 attempts without time limit. I found this out because in our actual clinical there are other NP students and they do have i-human too but not as insane as what is required in Purdue. I find it very unfair. I’d rather be in actual clinical and have longer required hours than dealing with i-human. I find it cool but I don’t like it and it’s very unfair. :(
Hi Danielle! I just came across your channel and have been watching all your videos on ELMSN and BSN programs. I am currently in a non-nursing major but know I want to become an RN and earn my MSN. I had never heard of ELMSN programs until I came across your video and am now reconsidering my next step. I know I want to earn my MSN and become an NP but am not 100% sure what specialty I want to go into (Potentially Midwife, Family Health, or Pediatrics). Would you recommend me completing a BSN first or do you think an ELMSN program would be a good next step even if I am not set on what I want to do as an NP? My other concern is that I would not have enough experience as an RN to practice as an NP right away. Any advice would be amazing!
You can definitely go for an ABSN after you complete your degree until you get experience as an RN in different specialties. I'd recommend a program like mine which gives you a BSN and lets you take a break in-between and finalize your specialty before you start the MSN portion, its not a lot of programs like this but they're out there!

Kayanna Kay Hi! yes I’m online but not by choice. It’s because of COVID usually I’m in a classroom setting. I still go to clinical in person though!
