My experience interviewing with a couple hospitals was veeeerrryyy interesting!! But they made sure I stayed on the right path! Theres a lesson in every experience, hopefully by me sharing my own you can take something away from it too. Also,
I really recommend watching my videos in 2x's speed lol

Wow. You were really nice. When she said she doesn’t know if she would hire someone with these call offs I would have swiftly asked her why she wanted to interview me then? Then I would have encouraged her to send a rejection email and go about her day.
Interviews are a 2 way straight. You are also interviewing them to see if you like it there. I can always get another job. That’s crazy.

I agree with you 1000% I feel like during the interview I was also just in a state of shock too so I didn't think to hit them with the hard questions in return.

Your video was spot on! In fact, it even applies to a person who doesn't get the job. Sometimes that door was closed because it's not the best fit for them. You seem like a genuine person who has the heart of a nurse, as well as the skill. Some people are in the field for the wrong reasons and misery loves company. Glad you have the right outlook. All things will work together for you good. God has better! Thanks for sharing this video!

Girl, I FEEL YOU. Nurse bullying is so so so real and we need more awareness so nobody feels alone. They do not teach us how to deal with these kind of situations in nursing school. Its extremely inconvenient and toxic but its real and it happens more often than you would think. Be safe ya'll

I 100% agree! I had to go ahead and make a follow up on nurse bullying! I've seen some truly catty behavior on some units. People are sometimes putting people in situations where they can lose their license or just being plain mean! It's absurd!

Keep your chin up girl! I just had a really bad interview, like REALLY BAD, and it was for what I thought was my "dream job" in a particular unit. I felt like the phone interview with the recruiter went really well, I answered all her questions and we had a good conversation and a couple of laughs. Then came the Zoom interview with the nurse manager and a couple of other team members from clinical leaders to the educators. As soon as the nurse manager came on she made a face and then turned around and gave the other person in the room a look. I am not sure what she didn't like? My face, my outfit (I did dress up), I have no idea... it was downhill from there. She asked me one question, and I was a bit nervous but did my best to answer it in a thoughtful manner. After that they seemed VERY DISORGANIZED, they had no plan for this interview and were not on the same page or something. I think truly they really were not interested in me as a candidate, and it showed. After I answered the one question the manager immediately asked if I had any questions (So I asked a few, none of which they were even remotely prepared to answer. They were all unprofessional, coming off as unintelligent and sloppy with their answers and sometimes didn't even get the gist of what I was asking), which normally they do this (ask if the candidate has questions) at the very end of an interview. After that they asked me maybe two or three more questions, again I was very nervous and did my best, but I may have rambled a bit. During the interview I could see them making faces out the door and at each other (they were in two separate offices, which I presume were next door to each other or close by perhaps). I could already tell the interview wasn't going well, they clearly had no interest in me right from the beginning, and it ended in about 15 minutes, but just to continue to make a joke of it the manager asked me when I could start. Like seriously, you really don't think I know you aren't interested. I made a face just to indicate I knew she was just mocking me and trying to make the others smirk when she even asked me that and proceeded to answer.. The staff were clearly nasty bullies, including the manger and I have ZERO DESIRE to ever work or interview at this hospital again. I can see why they have NUMEROUS, like ten RN openings in their unit all the time! When they said nice meeting you etc I said " yea, bye and thank you" and clicked the leave button before all of them could even finish their sentence, just to send a message, I was so disgusted with he whole experience. Don't waste my time if you are not even remotely interested in me as a candidate!!! They came off as a bunch of absolute morons and they should be embarrassed, but again they seemed like a group of bullies, so they probably enjoyed it more than anything!

Quick question as a male nurse student: why are nurses always harsher on female students than on males? Even I can see it.

I’m not a nurse or want to be one but I did work in the hospital as a patient sitter and I experienced bullying/horrendous attitudes from allll workers! Security guards..patient care techs..nurses and more! Ugh that job gave me anxiety so bad that I would literally throw up before my shifts because the environment was horrribleee. You would think in a hospital people would think and act in a hospitable way but it’s the complete opposite lol I can only speak though from my experience so I’m sure there are great hospitals to work in but Piedmont hospital in conyers Georgia is not ! 😂💀🫠. You are so pretty too btw! I watched your vids on RBT when I was starting as one! Now I am working on becoming a BCBA and would like to do child/teen counseling as well! Many blessings to you and keep your head up gorgeous 💕💕💕

man, they were worried about your call outs. I wonder if they considered all the times you probably came into pick up shifts when they were short.
