It's really nice to see a father and daughter working together and teaching her how to do metal shaping and having fun doing it. She will remember that you spent this time with her for the rest of her life, so enjoy and have fun. Because it means as much to her as it does to you!!!.
I don't know about that. Because this is everything to me. 😎 In all seriousness I am blessed. My kids where basically raised in my shop, on the tools from the time they could walk. The fact that they still choose to hang out with me and work is amazing.
Hey man! My dad showed me your channel and I just wanted to comment about your daughter. I think it is awesome she is into doing this stuff with you. My dad mentioned that she wants to get a motorcycle one day and I think that’s super cool 😎 Good for her! If you guys ever come to the Okanagan then you can send me and email and I’ll show your kid my shop and bikes 😁 I just subbed to you guys too.
She's been helping me build motorcycles and riding with me her entire life. It's definitely coming soon. If we are coming to the Okanagon I will try to make sure I announce it on the channel and Instagram so that I can try to connect with anyone who would like to 🍻
The patience you have with your daughter when teaching her is amazing. Reminds me of those times when I worked with my kids on my trucks. I miss those days and really enjoy the time you two share. Great videos and love the lessons I am learning as well.
I've missed a couple of videos, but it looks like your back is feeling better and your girl cut her crazy nails. LOL. I like the hearts in the floor pan. Makes me miss the days when I had my helpers. Cheers.
It's definitely on the mend. I'm not 100%, but I can work hard again, and I am grateful for that. The heart in the floor was my daughters idea. She wanted to see it on the passenger side. The driver side has my former shop logo, I liked the idea if putting some very personal elements into it. It's subtle touches, that make all the differance. 🍻
Keep'm coming, ive got a 4year old daughter and 7year old son and they both love laying under our burnout car "helping dad" 😊 Its great to see you both in there hanging out giving eachother stick and both getting in there together ❤️ Replying to comments really fuels the algorithm, and its great to see your channel flourishing congratulations 🎉
I am a firm believer that if you put yourself out there, and want people to subscribe, and support you, and even help fund you, that you (me) owe it to the viewers to respond. I say that now, when I get under a hundred comments on a video, but I promise that if I have thousands of comments, I will still do My absolute best to respond, or at least acknowledge every single one.🍻
new sub here, the car is looking great u put tons of work in that thing, and your 2 kids helping they are learning more from this than people realize , hands on experince is the best, thats how we all learn , have a good one Godbless
Thank you.🍻 I can't wait to show everyone what the final product will look like. I'm hoping it comes out like it looks in my head, because it's amazing
Miss looking at your work man beautiful job love your family may God server bless you and your family you’re doing the right thing for making somebody respect your children and your wife and your cell Wallace Johnson all the way from New Orleans Louisiana once again God bless keep hot Rodin
Nice job I have never done a wheel have done the bead but never let the boss find out union job what i did do is used lapping compound on a flat table and a wooden dowel and made fish scales next time i get near one I will make fish scales and roll it hats off to both of you and I will keep watching
You dropped a lot of videos recently. Think you cracked the algorithm and got your videos suggested to a lot more car guys! Congratulations on picking up views and subs.
I hope so. I've got some announcements next month for the one year anniversary, my close friends think my channel could be huge so I'm going to nurture it and try to prove them right 🍻
@@kingofbootyfab hell yeah buddie. You explain your process well so your already ahead of the game. From my past experience, every time I find a jem channel and start watching… it soon blows up. So that’s a good sign!
I enjoy the family aspect and banter between you and your daughter. The cover is a work of one of art. Learning a lot from you and need to get some tools. Thank you both.
You definitely have the skills...I like the beed rolling part...got to get myself one soon...have your channel on notice of all videos so keep them going...have a great one 👍
Have patience. Given the opportunity every child I've ever known has "wanted" to be in the shop working at one point or another . The important thing is giving them the opportunity, and the free will to choose for themselves. That's usually all it takes
That is one awesome heavy duty bead roller . Did you make it yourself. Awesome your daughter hanging with you and helping you. That bead roller here in the states powder coated I bet would cost easily $5000 plus. Just now seeing it’s also an English Wheel. Heck if you made it you should make some for resale and powder coat them.
Absolutely. If you go back through older videos there are assembly vids, showing the entire process.. I just use the English wheel as a holder because I haven't gotten to building the stand yet. I'll do it soon, it's starting to get annoying.
Hey Ryan, I grew up using Clecos bit I have pretty much switched to self-drilling/self-tapping screws. I only have about 10 pairs of Cleco pliers always misplaced, naturally.
Isn't that always the way . I've used self tappers, and I still do on occasion, but I do prefer clecos. Possibly because I've gotten really good at stripping holes with small screws and them not clamping any more hahaha.
It's Pretty Sad that you have to ask people to be Mature... or Mindful & Respectful of You and your Daughter. But actually when I first saw her working with you I knew that was coming and again it's too bad that it even has to be an issue. I think it's amazing that she wants to be involved and learn. Not enough young people who are into vehicles or Fab'. Keep Up the Great Work Guys.
I really do need to stress that it is a very very small minority that it even applies to, and an even smaller percentage of that who mean it the way it sounds. I am so thankful for a group of viewers that understand and respect what I'm saying, and she is thrilled to have support on this. I am overjoyed that she chooses to work with me. And this enables me to let her keep being involved how she is 😎
I do like the content involving the suspension fabrication and the mechanical stuff, but the metalworking is what really sucks me in. The doghouse is coming along fantastic and I can't wait to see it finished. These videos making something out of nothing will always be my favorites and I look forward to more work on the body. But then I also can't wait to see that engine come together with those blowers. Keep the videos coming as often as you can.
I've said it before. But comments like this absolutely make my day. UA-cam js a great big place full of talented people, and I can't thank you, and everyone else like you for following along and supporting me on this journey.🍻🍻 I promise you there is more of everything coming. Not just on this car, but the other is up on the roster soon, I've got a 51 4 door that will be getting slid into the rotation for an AWD LS powered chassis swap, and we just got back from a road trip to help make sure that I don't run out of video content for a good long time. I'll be back at the metal this week, you won't have to wait long to see more 😎
I've got awesome viewers. But one comment made her uncomfortable the other day and I want her to keep being a part of this with me. I don't think it's going to be an issue and hopefully Noone hears me bring it up again 🍻
I know what it's like to work on cars outdoors. I hope you get a shed/garage soon. I used to work on cars but it has gotten too expensive even just buying new/used parts so I have given up on cars and just build custom one of a kind bicycles (choppers, trikes, lowriders and tall bikes).
I'm in a tarp garage now. It's luxury compared to last summer 😎 I'm very good at scavenging things and recycling old metal. It's the only reason i can do what I do. Believe me. I am not a Rich man, purely a patient one 😁
I added a link to my wishlist, but I do stress, do not feel committed to it. I will be eternally grateful for any and all help from my viewers, and I am flattered that you and others have offered but I will continue to do what I do even without it. 🍻🍻
I woke up to this notification and I'm speechless. Thank you so much. I'm blown away by your generosity and I can't wait to put it to work when it gets here, I've already started laying out what im doing with it first. I hope that I can continue to turn out content that teaches and stirs such an amazing response from my viewers 🍻
I do. I'm going to put together a shaping station, something I can put some dollies and forms into to hammer out rough shapes. I've just been putting it off
The car is starting to come together I just started watching you I would love to find me a rat rod to build just do have the money to do maybe one day I can
I've been privelaged in my life to spend time with all of my children in the shop, at one point along the road in my life. I hope they picked something valuable up, whatever it was, but those memories mean a lot to me. And I'm happy that right now I get to continue it with my youngest daughter.
I enjoy it more than I could describe. I've been told that's why I get such good subscribers on youtube, that it shows through in my videos. Either way, I know I'm having a blast. 🍻
I'm not entirely sure i understand the Point you are attempting to make? I mean u understand how your comment sounds, but I'd like to assume that something got lost in the lack of tone and posture that the internet provides.
My daughter is 15, just abit younger than yours. You are showing more restraint than I would about dudes being crude to your girl. That said, that would just feed the trolls. If nothing else, it might give her the understanding that not everyone is nice, and this world has som pretty bad people in it. But, like you said, SMALL minority. I think you handled it best anyone could.
Thank you 🍻 It's far from my favorite situation on here. But I hope I handled it well for everyone involved. And I hope that when the comments die off, we don't speak of it again. She's happy with what I said, and the support shown in the comments, and that's all that truly matters to me. We tool Saturday off to go pick up a new project. And Sunday is for Mom. Today She's itching to get back at the car with me. 😎
hi again. heard what you said about creepy comments about your girl. my daughter has dealt with a bit of that on her channel too. she does vids about working on her bikes and riding. what she does is just delete them. she doesn't respond to them. them guys out there acting like creeps know what's up. not a lot of places in the world where that kind of crap is socially acceptable. give them no quarter. you delete those comments once or twice they usually don't come back. when i showed my kid your response to my last comment and she read the part where your girl wants her first wheels to be a bike that you guys build, she immediately subbed to your channel. me and her aiso built her two bikes. anyway, i think my 2 cents turned into a nickle, so i'll shutup now.
I will take that nickel any time happily. 🍻 My comment wasn't directed at the people that actually mean their comments the way they sound , it was more directed at the guys that didn't realize that their comment was off color. The internet although excellent for so many things , is just like texting in that we can't do anything but read the words, and the English language is so much more than that. In person we can tell when someone is joking, or what their intention was, and I don't think it's a bad thing for even those of us that understand to re read what we say, take that moment to let the comment marinate and make sure its going to hit the mark. We need to slow down and not be in such a rush. But you're right deleting them and not giving them the attention they crave is the answer, I just needed her to see dad standing up for her rights, and her emotions, she is so happy with everyone's responses, I think we'll be good now 🍻
