Every move you made was exactly what I would have done also. This car is a gorgeous work of art. I hope you had a fantastic time enjoying driving it. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
Real old school rod. I thoroughly enjoyed the video. And you probably made it look way too easy. Because now you are going to have a bunch of tenderfoots trying out their hands at the art of rat rodding. I say that's a good thing, You can't learn to do anything without putting your hands on it and starting to try to do it. I'm glad there are still a few older guys willing to show us how it's done. Good job and God Bless You and Yours.
You are a artist. It's a pleasure to watch a true artist create a masterpiece. You take a idea that you see and feel and build that idea. I can feel, (possibly)exactly ( at least I hope that I do ) what you feel inside that moved you to make that idea a physical and emotional reality. It's really something! A true artist has a gift of being able to make a emotion a physical thing. ( When a person looks at a hand crafted object you created by hand that generates emotional feelings by the act of physically looking at your idea.) Amazing!! You my friend are a true artist and I thank you for the awesome time I have watching you build this rat rod. I was able to just let the world and the stress of life disappear for a hour. Awesome 👍

Mr. Bob Your knowlage of the hole build from the motor to the front suspension is incredible thanks for sharing
You are very welcome
Very nice work. Love the video and thanks for sharing. Best regards.
Wow! You make me want to quit my J.O.B. and be your apprentice. I would just shut up and do whatever you tell me to do. You are a MASTER of your craft and SOMEONE needs to learn from you! Thank you for posting your work, you really lit a fire in me! God Bless you!
This its my favorite farmer
YOU ARE ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN WITH METAL WOW YOU ARE AT THE TOP OF YOUR GAME MY FRIEND .GREAT VIDEO
Awesome skillset sir. Old school tin bending at its finest. Perfect narration as well. Thank you sir for allowing us to watch a master at work. Boooooob ain't too bad either.... (-:
Im building a rat rod out of a 1927 Willis Wippet and I learned so much by watching this and so many new ideals Thanks
Dang that's a great build sir! One question: At 22 minutes you're showing us your brake master cylinder and there's this loud creaking sound. That your knees?
Shop seat. But my knees feel like that sometimes. LOL
Bob, you are a genius , an artist and an author! That build tells a complete story of skill, ingenuity and a dream! Thank you for sharing your talents! Awesome build.
You have skills that's for sure.
Oh Bob. You are a true artist. I loved every minute of this video. What a clever style you chose. And, the engine sounds gorgeous. You have such a wonderful mechanical talent. Every move you made was exactly what I would have done also. This car is a gorgeous work of art. I hope you had a fantastic time enjoying driving it. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
My pleasure ... thanks for watching!
Quote of the Day- "You don't have to be a good welder, you just have to be a good grinder". Story of my life....lol.
"A grinder and paint made me the welder I ain't" ;-)
Real old school rod. I thoroughly enjoyed the video. And you probably made it look way too easy. Because now you are going to have a bunch of tenderfoots trying out their hands at the art of rat rodding. I say that's a good thing, You can't learn to do anything without putting your hands on it and starting to try to do it. I'm glad there are still a few older guys willing to show us how it's done. Good job and God Bless You and Yours.
Yea ... I guess when you get older you start slowing down life and try to help folks out!
@@RatRodBobBuilds Might as well I don't have to work for a living anymore. I just have to try to live right.
Man what a great job.
Awesome 👍
Thanks Mike.
My boy its gone freak with tha animatronic 💪😎
You sir are an artist. What you did here with Charolette is a masterpiece. I bow to the master.
I wish I was ur grandson so I could learn more of that line of work I can turn wrenches but not so much the fab work
You just make it look like second nature, ya know... I tried the paint technique on my 51 Ford F1 rat and it turned out not as good as yours but I'm gonna stay at it.. Thanks for the inspiration Bob..
I had to really work at it and it's still getting better the more I do! But ... I'm still not completely satisfied with mine either!
Turn it to the "right" a little bit.
No, the other "right".
Shakes his head.
I came across this vid & started watching because you don't see a lot of custom Chevys this old. This vid is amazing I've learned a few new tricks I'm going to try on my builds, thanks for posting & sharing your skills with the world👍👍
I think this is more of a 2019 Rat Rod Bob than it is a 1931 Chevy! It’s a whole lot of fun watching you have a whole lot of fun! Great build!
Ha .... well that's a first! Preciate ya!
Shaping metal is one skill , it's the vision that is so impressive. Genus!
That was totally awesome. I wish I was your neighbor. You show so many methods and use of simple tools I am sharing with all my buddies. My 1st car was a 47 Chevy and I put a 57 Olds engine tranny and rear end. My Buddy Dale helped, his Dad had a welder. It didn't run very long but it had some torque. I really enjoyed your work and result. Absolutely wonderful. Thank You for sharing your talent and gifts. Dennis in Virginia
Thanks Dennis ..... I wish a I had neighbors like you!
these are the type of people you wished lived forever. theres not enough time in the world to learn as much as this guy knows it would take ya a lifetime. just found you today and im hooked lol
Thanks for that comment! I have lots of build playlists of really cool stuff and I'm still at it today. Join in on the fun!
I’ll end up watching all of em, im watching the 31 chevy right now charlottes web. I plan to build a rat rod pretty soon. But right now, im building a no prep street s10 big turbo truck and a 84 k10. Once I get my shop free’d up i have to do a rat project. Where do you find all your cabs at?
@@kiingskids7652 Always looking for deals on old truck cabs and old cars in general. Hard to come by at a good deal.

Thank you kindly
@@RatRodBobBuilds just stating facts..... To watch the things you do is awesome to me ...I build cars to...but only dream of building something as bad ass as you have built ....your on the top of the list for all time best builders I have ever seen...it's a art for sure ..and you take it to the limits man....any one can bolt on parts and build a car...but to truly build a car like you do...that's something special! most people who do build bolt on cars can't do that!
Still enjoy watching this one Bob, it's been my favorite so far but your model A is coming along pretty close to being the new favorite, I'd love to have both in my garage, they would make a great team for anyone who loves rat's
Nice Bob. I like the summary analysis. Don't need the hours of tedium. Very well done.
