Loved watching this! My Grandpa used to build jalopies back in the 1920's. He would trade his rifles and things for the cars, when the college kids would go back to school after working the farm on summers. When he was 13 years old, he had 13 Fords! When he was in high school, he had a build that easily evaded the local sheriff, but... living in a small town, that sheriff knew who he was, haha. Lots of great stories,... watching you build this Rat let me imaging what kinds of things my Grandpa did, back in the day. Appreciate you sharing! Patience and ingenuity... defines both of you.

I start with the big picture in my mind then work on how to make it happen. Good luck! Oh .. buy the way ... I have a few videos on four link builds you might want to check out! The Demon Falcon has a parallel 4 link while the 31 Chevy has the triangulated!
@@RatRodBobBuilds thanks ive already got suspension finished just parallel 4 link with a panhard bar, wheel tubs finished, getting closer to the final goal one step at a time.
You'll never find anyone nowadays that can build a car like this ever again... The classic hot/rat rod era is all but over.
Awesome build
I m a welder myself and I'm doing a Toyota turbo engine swap on a Volvo and it requires a lot of custom made parts
I upgrades the original torque bars with poly bushings I found in a container 6 years ago plus customer made motor and tranny mounts plus a whole lot of other things
Many blessings to you Sir!!!
Keep collecting parts and one day you'll have enough. Thanks for watching!

I have to the point that I had to clear my storage room to make room for the new items I got for the Volvo project .
I see in another video that she's gone to another barn but I know it was for the best .
When will your next project begin?
One of the best hours I have ever spent. Man, that is a work of art.
Thanks for watching Ray!
Oh Bob. You are a true artist. I loved every minute of this video. What a clever style you chose. And, the engine sounds gorgeous. You have such a wonderful mechanical talent. Every move you made was exactly what I would have done also. This car is a gorgeous work of art. I hope you had a fantastic time enjoying driving it. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
My pleasure ... thanks for watching!
