I've noticed a unique attack. If you hold backstep+heavy attack, you'll do a different sort of backstep followed by an attack. I found it out because you can chain it after you do a running heavy attack.

I did the same on other weapons I didn't want to upgrade to max. The dlc gives a good amount overall at least.

Hey is it not possible to backstab crit with this weapon?
I haven't managed to get one to prompt it if it is possible. Keeping a dagger or something quick secondary is a must to still have that option it seems 👍
That is unfortunately the downside. Need a dagger or something else for it.

Sure enough, I had thought it was my poor timing since I use it as the left-hand weapon with beasthand on the right for a splash and slash combo.
