I've noticed a unique attack. If you hold backstep+heavy attack, you'll do a different sort of backstep followed by an attack. I found it out because you can chain it after you do a running heavy attack.

You can get another powerful summon by equipping infernal rapier (You get it by Wyll's questline). Moreover, the +2 to spells DC is even better than the staff if you wants CC spells. You just needs to workaround a little the dmg spell selection, you'll need to get dmg spells which relies on DC and not in attack rolls.

You say you don't want to look like everyone else in the game. Then you give yourself the exact scar that at least half of all the NPCs have in the game. Everyone has that exact same scar.

Wanna improve that even more? either take dual wielding or have a party member hold phalar aluve with shriek close to the enemy. Now you get another 1d4 thunder damage per bolt. wanna see how powerful that extra thunder damage is? first, gloves of beligerent skies also work with thunder damage, so even more reverberation. second, it also instantly charges you 10 stacks of magic acuity if you are using the hat of thunder acuity, that will give you 10 spell save DC. Now you can use flesh to stone with like 30 spell save dc, or hold monster, or whatever you want, on top of doing all of this damage.

Recruiting Minthara for my Durge run, I was _not_ expecting her backstory when she opened up. Minthara is unapologetically hostile, merciless, condescending to those she sees as beneath her, and wouldn't even blink if asked to kill someone; you wouldn't expect the backstory for someone like that to be so complicated. And yet, in the few details she gives about herself, it is immediately clear that there is a _lot_ to unpackage. Born into nobility, survived her first assassination attempt while being breastfed. Her mother shielded Minthara with her own body. Then, at her coming of age, her mother tried to kill her, but failed. And when asked where her mother is now, Minthara tells you with no hesitation that the world could end and her mother, like a cockroach, would still find a way to survive, somehow. That is a LOT, in only a few sentences. Honestly, her opening up about all the ways she's been manipulated & used, even knowing she's still a remorseless killer, is making it hard to follow through with my goal of giving every companion the worst possible ending. All the rest of them want power in some form or another, but Minthara wants trust. It's like killing the Owlbear cub all over again, and I'm still not okay with that.

Another possible stat split for Tav/durge is 16 charisma take actor rather than ASI. You'll get plus one to charisma and conversation skills. Then the hags hair puts you at 18.

Very Helpful video. I do have a question though. How do I use mods that are .dds instead of .pak? They're usually texture mods and I'm not sure how to install them.

Easy way to find local app data: pres "Windows+R" and type localappdata% and hit enter, then find the Larian Studios FOlder, the Baldur's Gate 3 Folder, and there you are :) THere is a "view" option on the right of where the files are below the data path on file explorer, if you click on there, then go to "show" you can check "Show hidden Files" to show those as well. This is Frankly, one of the best done mod guides for BG3 Mod Manager! :) GOOD JOB dude! :)

Best way to keep track where Mod Manager is is by going to the BG3 folder and create a "Mod Manager" folder, and extract the zipped files there. THen you can "send" the .exe file to desktop or pin it to start menu to easily find it.

I played a couple of Blood Hunders: a Dual Wielding Order of the Mutant (hope they'll add it), and a Hand-Crossbow Ghostsalayer. That Radiant weapon was SWEET! Toss in Crosbow expert + Sharpshooter in D&D, and you do SO MUCH damage! So, Yeah. Like this class.

Couldn’t get this to work. I got the Death Knight class to show but the image didn’t come through and my other kids that I tried adding with this method didn’t work. I’m not sure what I need to know for load orders. I also notified my UI improvement is only one entry instead of a separate if for assets, and neither show under override. Can anyone direct a lost modding soul? I’m just trying to make a custom party of dwarves.

yeah just doesn't work for me. I've follwoed 3 tutorials step by step and none of the mods appear in mod manager at all for me no matter what I do.

Definitely using this for an evil run with Ascended Astarion as a companion, but I'm still waiting on that Selûne's Spear of Night Shadowheart build! I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with that.
