The injera is dark bc there’s two types of teff, brown(dark) and white.it’s not dark bc it’s gluten free ....a lot of people prefer the white injera(teff) bc it looks good to the eye but the brown injera has more nutrients and it main source of iron. Love from 🇪🇹

Now I always crave their food and have been to many different Ethiopian restaurants and none of them have been as good! I was spoilt and didn't even know it!

I absolutely love this video.🥰❤️. I worked with a large group of Ethiopian people about 30 years ago. For some reason there was this younger girl who always insisted on feeding me by her own hand. Well at first I thought, "Maybe they don't want me touching their food" or "Maybe there's some hand washing ritual I don't know about."
But I finally know why. She was respecting me by feeding me from her own hands.🥺. That brings tears to my eyes, knowing she respected me that much. Her name was Hirut. I wish I could find her and thank her for that!

Greetings from India. I have enjoyed Ethiopian cuisine back in Kenya and I can't help noticing the similarity to Indian cookery & culture. The injera itself is an African cousin of our dosa; the preparation is identical as in soak, ferment and steam.
Also, Ethiopian cuisine is spicier than, say, Kenyan cuisine, where milder flavours prevail. An Indian would be very much at home with a doro wat.
The presentation, too, is so like a thali, and the injera works just like roti in conveying food to the mouth.
    Most enjoyable. 👍🏼👍🏼🍀

White Christians from Italy have attempted to ravage East Africa with their Catholic values and to colonize Ethiopia and steal their riches and artifacts. Muslims have lived in East Africa for 1400 years alongside Christians with no problems. Plus, only 2 Muslim countries (Somalia and Djibouti) border Ethiopia.
