Buying a truck with fender flares installed by the previous owner. Paint was scratched up behind the fenders because the previous owner didn’t put something behind the flares to protect the paint. Never. Again. F*** fender flares
😬😬
Thinking that "all terrain" tires meant "all terrain". Ran mud tires ever since. Lol. Maybe in one of your next videos you could cover the different kind of trimming for tires.... from minor valance to norcal.
I have a 2014 are strut spacers known to come loose for a while now theirs a knocking noise coming from driver side front absolutely can't find it it's not a wheel bearing or ball joint no shaking or viberation any help would be greatly appreciated
Did you check the sway bar links? 1500 or 2500? If it is a 1500, could be A arm bushings also.
An old guy I worked under for my apprenticeship year ago gave me the best advice I've ever heard.. " there's nothing more expensive than being cheap. " buy good shit the first time and exactly what you want or you'll be buying stuff repeatedly.
Very true!
El que compra barato, compra cada rato
I used to buy hyper tough tools from walmart...
This applies to crack cocaine too
Good meat ain't cheap and cheap meat ain't good.
Guys, when putting a part into a truck or any vehicle. Do your research. Go to a truck meet. Ask people who have dealt with it. Figure out how it’s going to affect your truck, ride quality, gas mileage, post maintenance, will things wear and tear faster. Etc etc. Figure out everything that’s specific to your truck and the parts you’re looking to install. Before you go and spend money or send it to a shop to get done and then find out after the fact how your truck is going to react to a mod. Be smart guys and gals. Happy trucking. Good video guys!
I use my truck for hunting, driving through some mud (Colorado clay) and back and forth to work which includes sometimes driving out into loose soil on our farmers circles. A leveling kit and a set of 34x11 inch tires is enough for me :)
This channel performs it's purpose.
Thanks Willy.
Appreciate the advice you guys give us.. Can't wait to start looking for a truck next year trying to go with a 8 inche lift
Thanks for the love Oscar!
Thanks so much for all the info...I did my first lift kit and 35x12.5 and knew it would fit due to all the info I received from yall and the manufacturer's...I knew how my truck was going to look from the gallery......will be posting in gallery this week to be a blessing to someone else
Glad we were able to help and thanks for all the love and support!!!🤙🤙
When you just found out custom offsets is 10 minutes away from your house and your freaking out🤣😳😂
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I want to buy my first lift kit and I needed to see this
I purchased a set of 22s with tires for my 14 ram from these guys. Highly satisfied with the purchase from start to finish. Thanks custom offsets!
No problem 🤘
I went the cheeper way and got zone off-road instead of the much more expensive BDS and gave not regretted it. Went through both instructions and they were the same. Zone doesn't have lifetime warranty like BDS does but at less than half the price understandable. Plus I've never gotten warranty to work for me in aftermarket situations (love my zone off-road lift 2013 GMC 2500) do your research :)
They're the same company. Owned by fox.
Don’t feel too bad! I just removed a leveling kit because I was fed up with the ride quality and not being able to fit ridiculous tires. I replaced the spacers with Bilstein 5100’s up front and in the rear. I now have more rake then I did before! 😂. Thousands invested while a few lessons were learned.
I was looking at installing those 5100's from the 4600. How do they do for you?
@mobell7321 it's a slightly stiffer ride, but not to the point of it beating the hell out of you.
Damn I like this series you guys got going
"Chevy assumes youre gonna be towing with it" ...yeah, thats what theyre made for. Work. not rolling around the highway looking like a disco ball
Asphalt assassins 😂😂😂
To each his own
you can haul bulky, but not extremely heavy loads, like saws, couches, dirt bikes, etc. that's not really important though, people just like to get gatekeep shit for no reason.
Just like they’re show cars they’re show trucks. No need to insult another man for doing what he wants and how he in visions his or her perfect ride. There’s a word for that.....a hater. Just saying.
nightfall22 man grow some fucking balls, dude joked and said y’all look like disco balls rolling down the road. that’s it and it was funny. taking something like this that seriously has a word for it... a bitch. don’t act like the stereo type of guys with lifted trucks.
Cool Advice Fuller !!!!!! Thanks Bro !!!!!
Thank you for addressing this.
🤙🤙
I really hope y'all grow more and more and offer more things, like exhaust/performance parts. I love the way Custom Offsets operates. Way better than the other auto part sellers online. I don't like the American Trucks way of doing things where you just mumble some stuff into a camera and have no personality
Who knows maybe we will one day!
man i love yalls website
Love your guys videos. Currently building a 2004 GMC 2500 LB7 Duramax. U guys help so much. Cheers
Thanks for the love! Glad we could help!🤙
Finally, someone agrees that the “I skipped leg day” look is dumb lol
About to get the BDS lift on my 07 tahoe. Good information. Trying to figure out what size tire will fit and give the stuffed look. Not a show truck build. Trail trash clean up truck.
I legit bought a 2.5 lift and level from Rough country for my 01 f150 just to get the extra clearance to fit 33s on 17 inch rims.
Why does this guy look like a bearded. Ben Shapiro
😂😂
Talks like him to
Madd Panda lol..sounds like him
We would adopt Fuller in a heartbeat.
Madd Panda Thanks MADD Panda, now that’s all I see 😂🤣😂
Nice vid thanks.
I’m getting ready to start my build next week 98 Sierra k1500 4by4 if you guys want to get involved I’ve already got a 6” Rough country suspension lift brand new in box at home ready an want to do a lot more it be awesome to have y’all show my truck from start to finish
Just went to your website and searched for my soon to be truck/lift combo... No Results Found. I’ll have an entry soon.
i knew about my mistake about doing a level on a ram (Ball Joints) just coil overs cause i wanted a bigger wheels and tires but i did it temporally cause i knew wanted to save money for a proper lift as i did other mods
Thanks for this GREAT video! I just ordered a 2021 GMC Sierra 2500 Diesel and want to fit either 35 or 37 Toyo MT what would you suggest? I also would like King shocks please advise, thanks!!
Do you have any recommendations for a 2019 Toyota highlander that I want to get lifted ??
Can you do the 97-03 f150 models?
Have Alex do a custom offsets video and fuller do a fitment Industries video, without them saying anything about it and just playing it off as a normal video
oof😅 Not sure how that would go!
@@CustomOffsetsTV I think itd be funny for all the viewers to get a little confused, Alex talking about trucks and fuller talking about cars
Just bought a 2018 silverado 4dr was the best boget lift kit for 24 on 33 thanks
Look through the gallery to see what size you'd need! Rough Country is good if you're on a budget! customoffsets.com/gallery
What about Baja suspension kits!
i have 3" spindles and rc shocks, and i want to put 2"' coils, 2" coil spacers and new lift control arms in with it. but dont know if it will work together properly
Silverado 2500hd 2018 @customoffsets bought a 3.5" Rough country lift bolt on kit. upgraded the shocks to the fox 2.0 front and rear. RC brings 1.5" rear block and I changed that to the 2.5" to keep a 1' rake to avoid the big towing drop. not a fan of the front pointing up when I tow. Plus I like the stock look. Got 34" x11.5 ridge grapplers to avoid rubbing. (295/70/18) Installing next week. Should I add or remove anything to avoid sacrificing ride confort? Pls advise if you can. Newby in the truck world. I'm hoping the upper control arms that it comes with will give it enough space to avoid hits. I appreciate it. Any advice will be appreciated from anyone
Since the front of the truck is usually lower b4 i take it in to get it lifted do i tell them to add the leveling kit as well so it won't look higher in front still after lifting it?
Idk why rough country is knocked by them so much rough country is a good brand they make good lift kits
I’ve had a 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 Ltz for about 3 months now. Def want a smoother ride especially when driving over bumps and driving on my ranch. Wanted to ask what would be the best leveling kit fit for my truck I’m sorta new to the truck world
Did you say "alignment and a retorque" at the end? Did I hear that correctly?
new camera? i like
So what did the staff do to their trucks to compensate drivability without gearing? Also what about speedometer and TPMS? Thanks in advance.
I really do appreciate this. I’m trying to get my 2014 ram Laramie 1500 to look awesome. I’m thinking about putting 26x14’s on my truck. This helped me out a lot. Thanks for the website. Y’all answered my questions good and now I’m in my way.
If you're willing to cut wheel well it should be fairly easy. Probably don't need a lift and if you do very minimal like a leveling kit or 2 inch body lift to keep it simple
Gaming Made Simple ok. Thanks. I’ll look into that.
I just want the right lift or level kit for some street 26 inch rims on my 2007 Chevy avalanche so my wheels want scrub when I make turns... any advice !!!
Does anyone have an idea what would be the best lift kit for hummer h2 3-4 inches upwards?
Will you lift a ford Maverick when it comes out? :) I bought one and would like to know how to go about that.
This guy looks like proctor from the show power
I have a question, how do you disable stabilitrak coming on in lifted GM vehicles? I have calibrated my tire size to correct the speedo but has no resolved my stabilitrak kicking on in every freakin corner :(
Greetings guys, I love your programming, you guys are spot with your information.....Question for you....In this video around the 5:23 mark is what appears to be a black or charcoal colored ram...Can you tell me the exact inch lift of this truck please ?
I’ve learned quite a bit from this channel. I had a lifted 2003 f150 super crew with a 3.5 inch fab tech lift with 33s and loved it. Never saw any dirt with the truck lol I just liked the look and also working ems for so many years I am used to sitting higher than the rest hahaha. But now I have plans to be a travel nurse so I’ve made my choice of truck and off road trailer and now I’m doing all my research and homework on things that really matter so I won’t make mistakes because I’ll be alone out on some trail and that’s no bueno. So I appreciate the videos you all put out. Keep cranking them out!
Good luck with your adventures and thanks for the support!
What chrome wheels were on that first build?
Hey guys. Thank you for the great content! You guys are awesome. Will the J31N kit from Zone correct all necessary angles for a 2018 Jeep JLU? I know it’s more budget friendly but everywhere I see it seems like it’s the best bang for your buck since it’s the sister company of BDS
Yeah that would be a good option man 🤘🏼
Custom Offsets . Thank you! I just sent in an email to you guys to get a quote on the J31N with and without the Fox shock upgrades plus I put together a wheel and tire package as well. Looking forward to making this build happen! Thank you guys again. Very informative page and videos! Can’t wait to see what my Jeep will look like running this set up!
Thanks for your support man!! 🙏
alignment and what after install?
I have a 2016 Chevy Colorado LT crew cab I want to put a lift kit on it the company where I live says they have a 5 inch Pro Comp lift kit my question is would that be a good one to put on my truck or do you suggest another oh by the way they want to charge me $3,000 to put it on.
Would u also wont to change the brakes anf rotors if u have bigger wheels and tires to help with stopping better? Just wondering
What block side to use on a 2018 f1502wd for level look?
Great informative video Fuller - awesome job!
🤙🤙
I have a 2020 trail boss and want a 10-12 inch lift. Any advice or recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
I got a 2017 silverado and i put a 2.5 level kit but i think it needs at least a 3 inch in front. There is still a slight rake in front ( HATE THE RAKE)
Frank Soucek I got the same leveling kit size and still have rubbing when reversing or turning. Thinking I may lift it to 4”
Hey Fuller, I'm really wanted to do a 4" suspension lift on my 2005 Nissan Frontier. Just like in the video towards the end you talked about having that aggressive look without having that huge lift and thats what I'm going for. I want a decent lift with still a good ride but in a 4" so what would you recommend? Thanks!
You know fuller is not here right fam?! However Rough Country has a decently priced lift that also is nice quality wise! --> www.customwheeloffset.com/store/suspension?year=2005&make=Nissan&model=Frontier&drive=4WD
Just got the 2019 ram 1500 blackout sport with the 4 corner air suspension. Would I still be able to throw a suspension lift on it since it has the air bags? Also, would it need to be a specific type of lift? Don’t know a whole lot about suspensions, wheels, or tires so looking for any kind of information willing to provide.
James, Please send an email to info@customoffsets.com and they should be able to help any of your questions and figure out a good kit for you!
About to install leveling kit on my 05 Silverado 1500 would it need an alignment after? It's only shock and keys in front.
Yes we highly recommend an alignment after that.
I will be modifying my Ford F-150 I just bought a 2018 platinum.. I love it... I had almost bought a raptor.... I’m still not sure that I shouldn’t have I kinda was leaning towards it.. but too late... so. I’m modifying the platinum..maybe a 4” lift and some nicer wheels
I just went with a 6 inch rough country lift for my ram
I have a 2014 Toyota Tundra what lift kit do i need and wheels and tires and like about how much will i be spending thanks 🙏
I've had a truck for 10 years. Never have had a desire to lift it...... But that might be from riding in my older brothers first vehicle, a old lifted bronco set up for mudding.
Only installing the front half
what is a cheap but good lift kit that replaces all the shocks for a 2015 silverado 1500, im asking because i cant find one and the shocks are causing a cupping wear on our tires
Need new shocks on my 05 gm 6 inch lift and front diff lower bushings is it necessary for a new lift
Shoot us an email to info@customoffsets.com so our experts can help man 🤘🏼
You have any front wheel alignment issues?
can i pls get a link to those wheel lights
Got a 7” long arm setup for my truck because it was the only complete, true long arm kit. After doing it, I kind of wish I pieced mine together and went for about 5” instead.
Is the truck in the background in the gallery??? It looks good 👌
Not yet it isnt!
GMC 2023 Canyon lift video would be elite. Not many builds if any out there currently
Love your video. 👍🏿
Next move on 2017 Tundra 1794 edition is the Fox coiled over
Thanks you guys
Thanks for the love!
So after putting a lift kit i need an alignment after that i should be good?it was a stock truck adding bigger rims and tires and the lift kit i cant wait 😎i dont need to add bigger brakes or anything?
Yes alignment and re torque! 🙏
Here is a rookie mistake y'all lifted c02 with a kit made for a diesel so now it squats like a chick lmfao.
@@CustomOffsetsTV boom roasted.
Give it some time boys, You will see the finished product soon enough 😁
Ohio 5pt7 got emmm😂
I bought a 3 1/2 rough country and no rear block. I know you guess don’t like it but squated
The wheels that are in the back are nice, does anyone know what brand or whats the name of those wheels??
Those are Arkon Lincoln's check them out here! --> bit.ly/2N8p4n7
ive watched many of your videos because lets face it generally no one knows everything.. What Im trying to get a grasp on is, what does rough country not provide that makes the ride quality not as advertised " maintains factory ride quality"..Also on the opposite end of the spectrum McGaughys advertises a true 7" lift and states no other lift holds true measurement. In the past i always just bought the best bang for the buck, but now being in a 15 duramax that rides like a cadillac, i dont want to lose much if any of the ride quality
Please send an email to info@customoffsets.com they should be able to help you find a good lift kit for your truck and also give you some insight on Rough Country as well!
Bowtie Guy86 RC drop brackets only drop the control arm pivot points 4 to 5 inches. McGaughys actually drops the pivot points 7 inches. That’s a basic explanation, there’s alot more to it.
Question 2011 gmc Sierra have rough country 6in lift lol why do my front wheels stick out further than my rear
I feel like i need to send yous a check for all the info
That's very generous, but you could also just pick up a lift kit ;)
Yo wud up. I got a dodge dakota 2006 and want to raise it to be a mud truck, what should I do first?
also I had a question I have couple of Dodge Ram 1500 Sports but my 04 has all the performance packages but I wanted to put fender flares that's stick extremely close to the truck I believe there about three quarters of an inch but I like when the tire sits out a little bit do you think I should go with a 1-inch spacer or something a little bit bigger stock rims but Cooper Tires they're a little bit bigger than Factory 275/60R20 so if you look at the truck now the tires stick out very little when I put the fender flare on at three quarters of an inch if you go to make the tires sit under so should I go in an inch or inch and a half spacer
If youre not wanting to trim the studs you would atleast have to do a 1.75" spacer. But if you dont mind trimming then the choice is yours. Check out our gallery on our website and see what other people are running on theirs!

I got a situation im hoping someone here can help : 2017 gmc sierra 2500. 2" lift kit ( i dont know what kind)installed from largest (most reputible) company as soon as I bought to accept a v plow. standard for gmc/chevy so plow has more clearance. Truck was pulling right on pick up and i brought back twice they were super annoyed and said truck is aligned. i gave up. I have been going through front brakes, calipers, over and over and over. Assumed a major front end issue and brought to dealer and luckily they changed a bunch on front end parts but still couldn't get front end to align properly. keeps pulling right. I am thinking they installed lift kit improperly but dont know how to check. I had a reputable mechanic go through this front end wobble and pull and he found that brake fluid was twice as hot on front right of truck. He changed that brake line and calipers, rotors, pads all the way around. Still have same issue now and pretty sure rotor is warped on front right and caliper sticking. Control arm changed, pitman, and one other i cant remember name. I have been plowing 10+ years, I baby the truck while plowing and while not plowing. I guess can the lift kit cause this? The easiest way to describe problem other than pulling right is if i drive 50mph and hit brakes there is a sever wobble and pulsating. I realize that sounds like brakes. Its something else causing brakes to fail over and over on that front right side. Thanks in advance
Can I use my current adjustable 0-2" leveling strut to a Zone 4" lift kit on my 22 GMC Elevation to fine tune it?
Yeah no need to worry about re-gearing when you are going those bigger tires.
Awesome video man appreciate the tips and knowledge. Question for you. I bought a 2019 Silverado rst the turbo charged package. I’m looking to lift it a little not extremely high but somewhat that aggressive nice bulky look with new wheels and wide tires. What would you recommend honest opinion would help thanks man
Check out our gallery man!! 🤘🏼

I want to lift my truck bro with a different lift kit i need help !
What chrome wheels are on that first white show truck you bought? Looks good
Those were Hostile Havocs! www.customwheeloffset.com/store/wheels?brand=Hostile&order=low&page=1&wmodel=Havoc
You mentioned retorquing after a lift kit. How often do you reccomend doing this on a 2014 f150 with a rough country 4 inch lift? Thank you!
Some people choose to do it every oil change or every 4 months. 🤘🏼
What’s a good 4 inch lift for a 2006 Chevy Colorado
Can u send me a link to a 6in lift on a 2wd 2006 Silverado 1500
That white ford was fucking dope. Maaaaaaaan
i searched the gallery and comments for the specs no luck
Does this sound ok.. 8 inch lift kit on 37s 25x15
My mistake was not going with the height lift I wanted from the start. What I thought I wanted was not what I actually wanted after going to a few shows and seeing how small my lift ac to actually was compared to a 9”. I should of just watched CO videos instead of all these other UA-camrs
Done with lifted trucks, I used to drive um out of the dealership right to the shop for a lift and rims/tires. No matter what I spent shit always broke and broke shit sucks.
That and not being able to reach into the truck to use it like a truck!
Just trying to do engine Maintenace is a nightmare, having to either pull the front end into a muddy ditch, or deflate the front tires to the wheels and hope you can get them to reinflate afterwards.
I only did a 3/2 lift and basically regret it, but love how it looks and love how higher lifts look even more, they are just completely impractical if you daily drive, or need to actually use the truck as a truck.
A real lift makes a truck into a show piece.
i need help. I have a 2005 nissan frontier 2wd and i wanted to get a 4 inch lift kit for it but im not sure what are good brands.
What wheel is on that Silverado behind you?
Arkon Lincoln!
What's everyone's opinion on the pro comp lift kits?
I got the six inch Pro Comp lift kit so far I'm happy just curious what everyone else's opinion is on that specially. I really appreciate I got it on a 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 4 x 4 newer body style with 20 by 10 rims and 33s tires about to get 35s
They are a very popular brand!
see those rims on the white Silverado now those are some nice rims I think one of the last videos I was complaining about everybody with the black rims that too many people now have the black rims they look dirty so quick I like a nice Chrome rim with maybe a nice black lip are all Chrome I didn't think when the rim is a flatter black they are dirty if you go with a black chrome it's a little better but I like that Chrome with the black lip
Glad you like them! Check out these wheels here!
