It’s so creative that you’ve made yourself in the elder scrolls world and show your character doing what you’re describing. It adds so much to the story telling
Thalmor: "We must unmake the world in order to take our place as gods." Khajiit: "Why do that when you can make yourself a god within the world? Much easier, no?"
What I like about the Sanguine story is the idea that Sanguine, despite being the god of debauchery, is still vulnerable to the effects of too much alcohol lol. Great video as always Drew.
Perhaps he just lowers his tolerance when with some mortals. What's the point of getting smashed with the lads if you're the only one not smashed? It fits the idea that the god of getting smashed would also get smashed himself!
@@badluck5647 It does makes sense really, from a logical standpoint. Sheogorath, god of madness, is bat-shit-crazy. It would stand to reason that a god of intoxication might often be, well... intoxicated! XD
Definitely one of my favorite pieces of lore in the Elder Scrolls. A thief cat god that stole a tattoo? That’s sick as hell. Wonderful video Drew! I love listening to your videos. You have such an incredible and soothing speaking voice
I wish you the best in your artistic pursuit. I have nothing but respect for you, and your writing, and your politeness in social interactions (in context of your past podcasts). It is an honour to hear your videos
I love the effort in every single video of yours on here and on Fudgemuppet's channel. What really makes these videos even more immersive is inserting yourself as a character so that was a great idea. Thank you for making my lunch breaks more fun and magical 😄💜
Mr. Drew, this is an awesome telling! I've always wanted to know more about the Khajiit. Not enough is told of their history, I think, not even in Moonpath to Elsweyr (I know, I spelled that wrong, sorry, couldn't get it right no matter how I tried!). Thank you for providing a well loved tale of a Khajiit.
I just wanted to share the fact that I clicked on a video about cat people and youtube decided to show me an advert for Whiskas cat food 😂. Lore the lore keep it coming please. Your style of delivery is unique and unmatched in Elder Scrolls lore.
I swear there is not a single story teller better than you. The words you use, the way it's all told, it's almost sinful that this is free. Outstanding work. You make the Elder Scrolls lore that much more intriguing to listen to and interact with.
𒉭 I am astonished you have more content, it mellows out my hardships and centers my mind time to time. The bleak hope of fantasy and fun imagination dibbled in and dipped in dark psychology, poems, metaphors, science, death & life etc I’ll say it again your work is equivalent to a psychedelic trip containing self-reflective monologue unlocking ambitious thoughts.. ( I can never seem to recall your videos or Anything afterwards my mind isn’t capable of processing all, but I feel passive after listening ) On a personal note I hope you privilege, vacation and a ghost like status whenever you’re feeling out of it. Evolving your work and manifesting however you do 🔥
Maybe Meridia's group project with Mephala producing a ring who's true name is overshadowed by its most impressive use contributed to her getting kicked out of her old club?
Thanks for the videos drew. You've always been there to listen to when life gets hard. Thanks for being a passionate storyteller and little bit of permanence in a harsh world. I think I've listened to these videos for literally about half my life now.
I just realized my first Skyrim character might have been an avatar of Rahjiin. I even managed to perform a heist that might have seem impossible. I stole the entire country of Skyrim. I also broke into the Imperial Palace in Oblivion while wearing the Ring of Khajiit. No matter what I do it all comes back to him.
For the unknown daedra lord i have a theory that it could have been Molag Bal. Think about it, he created a specific "blessing" to mortals that granted them power during the night (vampires), his realm is cold and dark, etc etc
Dude, you are to the Elder Scrolls lore community what Oculus Imperia is to 40k; portraying a scholar within that world in such a believable way that it immerses your viewers even further. Your scripts are so articulate and have such a wonderful flow. You're a natural story-teller. Tripping balls on moon-sugar under the wheeling constellations...what a fuckin picture.
Does the Thalmor hate the Khajiit who achieved godhood through thievery, while the pureblood Altmer remain mortal? What are the chances that Rajhin is banned in Elsweyr like Talos is across the empire?
The way I think about is that there is a huge difference between a cultural god, and a Divine. Talos, since his ascension to godhood, was worshipped by people of all races because of his status as a Divine. Meanwhile, Rajhin is worshipped by Khajiit as a minor god, still under other gods such as Lorkhaj or Nirni. Similarly, I doubt that the Thalmor would ban Reman worship, even though Reman was worshipped as a cultural god by the Imperials.
@@isaacfullerton I am questioning if the Thalmor equate Rajhin worship to heresy like do Talos worship. Khajiit also worship Deadra Princes like Azurah, so maybe the trickster god isn't that bad by comparison.
Awesome video as always, Rajhin is definitely one of the coolest gods in the lore and I had never even heard of this shadow magic. Would be cool to see a video on that.
scholars: daedric princes exist in a different plain od existence and are far beyond mortal understanding daedric prnces: so anyway I f*cked this Khajiit but he stole my stuff, now I don't know what to do
Now that I think about it, the Khajit in lore have nothing in common with the Khajit in game... In gameplay the moons mean nothing, moon sugar is hard to find and does nothing interesting, they're not particularily cat-like or seriously more adept at thieving, and so on. Cool lore anyway, and cool video as always.
Bethesda needs to hire you to write books in the elder scrolls universe… or just buy the rights to transcribe your videos. Or place Drew the word spinner as an author in the universe. Thank you mate, you take my mind on eloquently described journeys
And in today's episode, Drew trips on moonsugar and has a religious experience while surrounded by Cats.
He tripped his balls off
I'm confused as to whether or not this is supposed to be a bad. It doesn't sound like a bad way to spend your day
@@clintonsharpe9242I mean, tripping balls and talking with the gods while kitties snuggle you sounds like a decent weekend to me 🤷♂️
Average day for a wizard tbh

His finger game was on point. He made her silk all over the room.

I think Drew would agree that M'aiq the Liar is definitely a Shadow of Rajhin. 😁
I think I've heard him talk about that a little on the khajit podcast from FM
@@RylovesCher23 I am sarcastically referencing how Drew hated that theory when it was presented on the Fudgemuppet podcast.
I would be happy with either him being an avatar of Lorkhaj or an aspect of Rajhin

For real. He now exists in the world as a scholar in my own head canon and I want a mod to add his books
Thalmor: "We must unmake the world in order to take our place as gods."
Khajiit: "Why do that when you can make yourself a god within the world? Much easier, no?"
When the khajiit said "its skooma time" and skoomed all over the place. that was my favorite UA-cam, I literally cried

The line about the ring abandoning him sounds like a reference to Lord of the Rings
Bathesda definitely has a real wizard working for them, and I'm pretty sure it ain't Todd.

I just find it funny that you can, in fact, drink yourself into oblivion. Thats canon, you can do that.
