I bought a Ferris is600z this spring and I love it, it used to take me 4 hrs to mow the lawn but now since I have a Ferris it only takes me an hour and a half to mow lawn
If I manage to get a few clients with larger lots this season I'll take the plunge and get this mower. Currently my two 21" Honda push mowers are more than enough. I recon if I got 4-5 bigger lots that would be 2-300$ per mowing every 2 weeks, that would be 10 mowing a month or $2000-3000 a month. Season is 9 months and this would be $18-25 000 per year and I would pay off the mower in the first year.. A lot of ifs....
I bought one for my lawn Business last year I put 110 hours on it They are perfect for a residential lawns. I'm not really happy with the cut quality leaves too many stringers I will be trading it in this year and getting a IS 700
Hi, i noticed there is a small amount of oil that keeps collecting around both of the rear wheel rims on my brand new Ferris 400s. I clean it off but reappears after each use. Just wondering if you have noticed this on yours? All in all seems to be a really good mower but have you had any issues with yours, things i should keep an eye on? Cheers.
@@LD-nl7kz It seems to have sorted itself out. Oil in both reservoirs seem to be sitting steady and no more oil has been discovered around wheel rims. Maybe the oil seals went a bit funny from sitting around for a while and just needed a bit of use? It also is the vision with the briggs.
Does a nice job of mowing, but very noisy (briggs engine) compared to my jd z445 (Kawasaki). Uses more fuel. Ride quality is overblown. Dealer follow up was crappy.
