Eric Burdon. I don't know what it was, but whatever it was, he had IT. Put the listening aside for a moment and WATCH him perform - it is as though he is jack-in-the-boxing and about to erupt at will, threatening the audience with his magic whether they like it or not.

Valentine will always be known for his opening guitar riff on The House of the Rising Sun. He died in 2021 of which no cause/place of death was given. RIP

The Beatles were the greatest but their genre was not the same as The Animals which was Blues Rock. The Rolling Stones was another form of Blues Rock that was incorporated into many of their tunes.
