Thanks again Donny I hope all your experiences make me better for it all Loved it when you said it was March as I plan to run my new 20hp Suzuki up there and I might just follow your trip. I have Loch Shiel to do and I think weather permitting Lismore maybe on my list to. a great reminder of Neap tides as I have not planned it all yet because my Engine does not come for two weeks. So this goes into my new save list. Thanks for sharing Ray K UK YNWA.
Sounds like you have a plan Ray ..hope the weather plays ball..do be aware of the strong tide race off the southern tip of Lismore ..it has surprised many people in the past
Thank you for sharing these videos, I've watched most of the content of your channel, and as a result you've taken me out of my years of Canadian canoeing, and today I bought a Quicksilver 4.2 . You have made me want to achieve more, and for this, and the enjoyment I have experienced from your posts, I sincerely thank you Mr Wilcox.
Beautiful and inspiring as usual !!!!! .Scotland again in May for West Highland Way ( wife, I'm just transport and caravan, no boat this time) Best Regards
The latest was a little away from my doorstep ..but shared the drive and fuel cost with my brother..we went off Skye's inner Sound..so enjoy it too Ashley
Thanks for taking us along on your trip round the island. Anchored in Port Ramsay many times and as you say, a lovely peaceful place to visit. See you out on the water some day. 👍
@@donnywilcox understood, I to have lots of video & not much time 4 editing etc. So much work with the boat, stronger motor this year (excited) looking for good location to mount transducer did you place 1 inside by the drain plug?
Another lovely video Donny. We are in Balloch at the moment with the RIB on Loch Lomond enjoying the lovely weather. We are planning to take the Sib and have a pootle about on Loch Awe early in the coming week. With fuel prices as they are I was wondering how progress is with getting your new 4 stroke outboard for the Grey Gurnard
HI Dennis..I missed your visit as I was up north when you were at Kellys pier..the video from that trip is now on line..I enjoyed your Loch Lomond vids :-D
@@donnywilcox We had an incredible time with Incredible weather. We both fell in love with both Lochs and the little Island. Going to Kelly Pier was a real treat also
The foldable-rib patent is held by a Russian company called WIN-boat. They are in violation of sanctions for setting up a company in the UK to manufacture these boats in order to get around sanctions. The Ukraine factory that WIN-boat used to seal the tube to the hull was shut down when the war began. It's such a pity, but I have decided not to buy one of these boats not because it is a Russian company but because they are in violation of sanctions. I've decided to buy a V-air hull instead or I'll look at the 300 Tuffy by Polycraft.
Absolutely fantastic video, thank you for sharing
What a lovely video. Thank you for this amazing video with commentary.
