This is horrible. She should not be responsible for following the doctors recommendations.

She may have to file a malpractice claim to get these charges remove and hopefully some extra in her pocket for what she has been through

If it was a mistake, why does SHE have to pay for it? When hospital corporations make billions. They should be paying her for the malpractice.

I had or so they said, breast cancer in 2012. First biopsy came back as cancer. They were ordering chemo/radiation. Another test done on the tumor came back a different type cancer that was not aggressive so they said no chemo but need radiation. Another test done on the removed tumor came back and stated radiation not needed. With almost no probability of tumor returning. The Dr. insisted I do radiation anyway which damaged my thyroid as they didn't shield it from the radiation. This caused my thyroid to malfunction causing a 70 lb wt. gain. Another specialist told me I never needed radiation. The bill for it was over $78,000. Today, I have no issues with cancer and doubt I ever had cancer. My records show all above is true. I do not trust doctors anymore.

Arizona has never had any leading medical facilities of note. I'd go out of state for a second opinion on anything. Hospitals can't qualify for min medicare without exceptions. Imaging operates with licensing, HH is better than Banner. Mayo begins calls for appointments with a 20 min speech on how expensive they are (that's with a refferal and insurance).

Misdiagnosed! Lawyer up! Some of these hospitals have a cap, usually about 350 to 400k. I found out the hard way, lawyer would say it’s not worth it…..
