As a guitarist myself the vibrato, pauses, accents, and the guitar starting to growl made it even more incredible in one take. Page was not only one of the best, he was truly an artist.

Page famously said that he thought Robert sang the blues the best of any white singer I might quibble with that (Steve Marriott of Humble Pie for example, or Joe Cocker) but Robert, for the blues specifically , is in the top 3 for me

The live versions of this and Whole Lotta Love from their '73 Madison Square Garden concert are totally worth going back for a re-react. And once you get to "The Song Remains the Same"/"Rain Song" from the Houses of Holy, check out those live performances too. Zeppelin performed them back-to-back, like merged together, which is how i'd recommended you do them. The vibe that flows from one to the next is too frickin' sweet

I had the same reaction 50 years ago. It was earth shattering, on the living room floor with the plastic wrapper from the album on the floor by my feet. I'm so happy you kids love the music, and know why it's special. BTW, I could be wrong about this, and people in the know can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Jimmy Page's guitar solo was one take, on a borrowed guitar. Even if it's folklore, I believe Jimmy Page could pull it off. Greatest band of all time! When you're in your 60's, you'll still love "Since I've Been Loving You." Cheers!

There are MANY good examples why Led Zeppelin, is my favourite Band and this is ONE, of them. Great Job! Alivia is a GREAT add! Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones were definitely older than you two, so don't feel pressure, long road ahead!

Y'all still have Physical Graffiti, Houses of the Holy, Presence, In through the Out door was the last album before John Bonham died... But also "The Song Remains the Same" live album/concert movie from 1976👍

Wow Silas, just checked out this video today - myself, huge LZ fan for life...I have seen GTLO 8 times and still have not seen them play my favorite song, like yours (at least it was through your LZ studio recordings journey), SIBLY. You see them once and you get to see the rare night they play this greatest song, truly lucky. BTW - I was actually checking out your channel to see if you have yet covered the phenomenal song not on any of the 8 studio albums; Hey Hey What Can I Do. I can't find that you have. If not, you have to, to complete the LZ catalog. It will not disappoint!!!!!

This song makes no sense to a 12 year old and then it makes ALL sense to anyone about 16 and older. When passion and love take hold!

Try " It Sure Got Cold, after the Rain Fell" by ZZ Top. It's got that slower feel too.

Hola.
