All race times would be a little slower than you could run outdoors because more turns less straitaways. So this girl probably runs a little better time outdoors. Very impressive feat. There is nothing thrown about the race. I am the 54-year-old woman in the race, coming off a 6-month injury. I never met Sophia prior to the race and she won the race fair and square. We were in the last heat due to our times, so what you see is the real deal.

    k im kinda confused cuz i dont do running as a sport. why did they switch lanes like arent you supposed to stay in ur own lane? doesnt that DQ you?

    • @denteriabanks5383
      @denteriabanks5383 4 роки тому +1

      Yes on a bigger track though. If this was a outdoor meet then they would stay in there lanes. Since this is a indoor meet they would have to switch lanes cause it wayyy smaller. That's why they did two laps instead of one. One lap indoor is a 200.

    • @localasian

      From the second lap, you can switch lanes

    Let's not burn these babies out. Let them have a life and enjoy being kids before life catches up with them. We've seen what has happened with all those 12 and 13 year old Jamaican sprinters running the 200m in 22 and 23 seconds. They faded over their teenager years. They need to enjoy life, folks.

    When it's titled a Women's race I expect there to be more than one woman and expect that runner to be at least decent at the event. That woman would finish in last place at most high school meets by a long margin.

    The sad truth is a lot of these really young girls are influenced and “encouraged” to take sports way to seriously for such a young age that by the time they’re abt to graduate high school their bodies and minds are tired and they often choose not to pursue any sort of career for that sport.
