Thanks for making this video. I have done alternator replacements on other cars but never on my Dodge. The fact you gave the socket size for each piece made it quick and easy. You are the man.
Your the man. I have never changed anything on anything but I did it. $125 for a rebuilt altenator, belt remover tool and deep wall socket set and a couple hours and done.
thank you.. this vid is a life saver as it si the exact same year make and model as my GF's truck,... had to remove the alt but as it turns out the alt IS NOT bad so now I have to reinstall it ...but this vid has made it a piece of cake... many thanks to you...😁😁😁
My wipers stopped working, the headlights turned on by themselves, and my signal lights stopped working. I changed the computer and it seems it has fixed the problem for me.
It is not a match, unless you just didnt push the spacer in. If you notice when you compare them side by side the old one has a pertruding spacer, the new one with spacer does not petrude.SO I just ruined a new alternator,ac compressor and other things. Please do not make any more videpos unless you know what your doing!!!!
You may be able to grab an alternator on Amazon, I'm not sure if this is a good price, $105 (May 2016) amzn.to/1U44WNf

Thank you for your time. This video was very helpful. Took me only about 15 minutes. :)
Excellent! this is one of the easier ones, right on top, gotta love it.
Is the second 13 mm a ground connection?
Very helpful and clear your tutorial. Thanks very much
Thanks man. I think you just saved me like $400

How did you get the new alternator on did you use a hammer or what
What if it doesn't charge are there a fuse in the fuse box
just replaced a head on mine and after putting everything back in i forgot what connectors go where.. i have 3 unconnected..
You the best bro
I did these steps but it tightened one at a time can that be the reason my belt don't fit right the way it was befre

Any tip on getting to the belt tensioner??? Just want to make sure that I have to right bolt
How long does the socket has to be because the sockets I have are too short
normal deep sockets are adequate
I changed the alternator but im still having charging issues with the dodge ram. When i turn on the headlights the battery is drained in seconds.
Did you ever figure out this problem? I'm having same issue
My wipers stopped working, the headlights turned on by themselves, and my signal lights stopped working. I changed the computer and it seems it has fixed the problem for me.
