Thanks for watching, now tell me: What do you think of the Fuji X100 line and which model would you go for? Do you already own one or used to - why did you swap it or why you still stick to it? Would you go for the brand new X100V?
I got myself the X100T 6 months ago and I'm more than happy with it even tho I still got an eye on the X100V. The weather sealing plus the 8 extra megapixels and a few minor upgrades make this camera so appealing to me. But it's just nearly impossible to get your hands on one of these at the moment so for now I'm glad I got the T and I have a lot of fun with it.
Two big differences between original X100 and S version you forgot to mention: 1) Original X100 has Bayer sensor, rather than X-trans. Fuji colors with Bayer sensors are uniquely pleasing; 2) X100S has noticeable improvement in auto-focus speed and accuracy. Not a big deal if you pre-focus or zone focus for street shooting.
True that. I've never found myself at ease with the Fuji pre-focus (zone focus) for street as I was used to with my Leica. Always found it tricky somehow (I know my issue). Thanks for the comment Robert.
I have my x100S and it's still very capable, the V is too costly for a fixed lens APSC camera and as long as you find an S at a good price it's a good 2nd camera to have for street.
Can't wait to try the new version on the V, because on my S the 23mm was way too soft at 2.0, much stuff out of focus... most likely next year on my next trip to Tokyo.
Got the "useless" X100t two weeks ago for much much much less than you stated!. Worth every dime! The bump from the S includes also WiFi, beter AF and better hybrid finder. Of course, a matter of perspective! Cheers mate!
Hey there, you're totally right - I was a bit too harsh on that one, there's nothing really useless as long as you're happy with it and as long as you pay much, much less it's all good! I reported the average prices I saw on Ebay and other sites from here (Italy) so they in some cases might be some discrepancies of course. I didn't even mention the built-in WiFi because I tried it on for a week with the F and it just didn't really work - it was more frustrating than else, always disconnecting from the camera and so on (but they might have fixed that as the years went by). The AF, you're right again, is slightly better than the one on the S, but still not great (as I remember the AF until the F was something you couldn't really trust on sometimes). But, again, if you love it, just go out and enjoy it! Thanks for the comment!
Get the S if you'd like to save the money and have a very good fixed camera. F will have high resolution and more film simulation modes but the lens is the same as the one on the S and not the upgraded V2 lens on the X100V.
The point of jpegs and raw is absolutley right. If the jpegs sucks and you tweeking hours in front of the pc than it's not about photography anymore...
Loved my S. But I remember having to take my laptop with me on travels to transfer pics to my phone and post online. For that reason, I got the T for a good price. Now I can just wifi transfer and post to social media on the go.

I can't compare my Fuji 100V with any digital Leicas or any previous X100s. I just in love it.

I’ve found the q button a useful upgrade …and overall happier with the S …which still keeps it simple

The T is the best one for the value
I had had the first, slow, x100 and then the x100s. That 23mm pancake is beautiful and I'm missing it on my xpro2.

Just ok ! The original X100 is in a class by itself with new firmware. X100 will go down in history as one of the best cameras ever made
Why if I can ask? Special sensor configuration?
Thanks
@@alexvikendi1768 no its just my opinion. It just processes jpegs really nice
I've been using Fujifilm X100s, I thought I wanted more but 100s is nice.
Yeah right? I thought that too at the time.

@@ldyrtdyrt8872 lucky bastard prices seem to have gone up on them
I still have my 100s and 4 years going strong. Can’t afford a 100v
between X100s and x100f which camera should i get for my first X100 camera?

I just pick up up an X100T 10/10 condition for $575.

Yeah, that's one reason. I remember Fuji software (pics transfer) didn't really work that well back then. Hope they fixed that.
you couldve gotten an sd card adaptor to whicever smartphone you have frm amazon for 15-20 dollars.Much faster than using laptop or even bluetooth
@@bryanbacos thats wt i did, super easy barely an inconvenience
Very cool Video and great Shirt. :-D Where can I buy it?
Haha, thanks! I bought it back in the days, don't really remember where but I think at Uniclo.
I've got a chance to get an "S" for $450 today. A little bit worried about the age, but I will probably get it.
It would be worth it in case it's still ok...
And I’ll do it in one sec: the one that is available.
That too
Ma quanto sei figo? Ahahah fammi na recensione della xpro 3 😂😂 avessi i soldi la prenderei subito la 100v
Mai provata la xpro3 purtroppo. La 100v usata non appena vado in Giappone di nuovo!
you look like mr bean if mr bean had beard
I guess it's a compliment. I take it as a compliment anyway.
X100F...the V is too big.
True that. It's pretty bigger than the previous versions.
Why is there always annoying music
I'll take that out next time, Henk

The V is the absolute definition of overpriced
🤷🏻♂️
The prices for all x100 models were almost the same. Given the accumulated inflation, the newer models have become even cheaper.
True.
