True fact, Clive who’s the second drummer of Radiohead since 2011,2012 is actually the drummer of Portishead too. And also Thom once showed up at their concert singing this song with them.
heard this song for the first time yesterday, it made me think of radiohead so i was playing radiohead all day then i find this today. Man i love music
This is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard. Omg. How did I not know this existed and how did I ever live without this wondrous treasure!!
Radiohead is my favorite band, tied with Led Zeppelin. I recently discovered Portishead, and this was one of the songs that caught my attention. I don't know anyone else in person who listens to Portishead, and I know very few people who know Radiohead past creep. There's something about knowing my favorite band appreciates the same music I do that just makes me feel connected and inspired.
can you show me a Led Zeppelin song that you think is as high quality music as radiohead? I never really got into Ledz and I don't want to randomly jump in and judge them based on 1-2 songs I randomly find.
I have luckily seen Portishead live on all 3 albums. Beth Gibbons is Haunting and Wonderful at the same time. Skinny Puppy is another band you should look into. Radiohead is amazing too
Wow, these guys should start a band!
Hahaha, much love bro
LOL!
nice
Think they wouldnt be succesful ;-)
I heard they started a proyect, they are called On A Friday

Steal your song and then steal your drummer.
J/k
When Thom starts to shake his head, that’s when you know he’s really feeling the music.
I love this because I've always thought The Rip sounded like Radiohead.
X2
I think the whole album did to be fair. No bad thing mind.
Ones are the Portis and the others are the Radios, but both are the Heads.
its the other way. Radiohead wanted to sound like Portis
@@pocojoyo Talk Show Host is pure Portishead influence.

Romina Trinidad te entiendo c:
this is too good
So gorgous !
best cover ever
U must have pretty strong fingers to keep playing those chords for such a long time
or they are "guitarists"
and thus they have pretty strong fingers
I thought the same
Yes, tom, and beth, expresses the same sad's tenderness... and il feel the same sadness way they... the melancolia's song
Both INFP personalities. Most melancholy type.
stunning cover [no surprises] x
They now made it a Radiohead song.
I dig the metallic slides....
Calluses.
they've performed it with Porthead before. It's just as awesome.
Johnnyyy! Loves you
that could be sweet, like a long forgotten dream :3
I play the drums on this and feels great
tenderness
Can’t fucking believe I’ve never seen this before. And not so long ago I was wondering if Thom likes Portishead. Amazing
Wow, didn't know this existed, great cover. These days they would start a banging synth line halfway through too
Glad you liked it!
portishead 3 is such an astonishing record

Jhonny seems like tuning his guitar over Thom's singing lol
Thom Yorke and the Portisheads
i guess I should worry less about string squeaks...lovely performance
ever since i first heard the rip, i always thought that it sounded like a radiohead song.
Why did i just discovered this
i can't believe this exists
Proving the adage _"two heads are better than one"_ to be quite true.
...Really wish there was a better quality version of this cover available.
Gran pezzo
@Jared12KidA
just reading that gave me the chills.
Head (Radio + Portis)
I know it s lame haha
hahaha very funny to me

Radiohead covering Portishead, with OSI off in the corner jamming "Head" with Jefferson Airplane.
Feed your head.
hermoso
mi vida entera sometida a ellos.
< 80,000 views in little over 4 years @ such a great performance. Weird... I loved the original, but this one equals or superseeds it.
when??? where are they?!?!?!
@Jared12KidA ahahahh "bjorkyorke" lol
He said JUST a Thom and Jonny project.
Listening to this I hear where Present Tense came from musically
Este tema con thom que maravilla dios me transporta 🌈🌈
бест кавер ай евер хёрд
unless you're referring to another song, blow out was on Radiohead's first album, Pablo Honey, and Beth didn't sing on it.
