Talel Linkous far out it’s so weird how there’s now old UA-cam comments I remember when there was like no comments older then 2 year old, 7 years damn. Edit : 8 years
I was there! Was it really 12 years ago? It was magic doing backing vocals for Thom on There There. Just listen to how quiet the crowd is. Usually at gigs people are chatting away, but that day you could hear a pin drop. It was wonderful.
This whole performance is some otherworldly beauty! So envious of anyone who got to experience it. Something I've been wondering about the past 10 years, watching this performance and Present Tense in particular.. he's so clearly singing it to Someone. That's why this performance of the song will never be topped. Any idea who he's singing it to here?
True love waits gets me every time. A bummer for me that they never released the original aside from the live one. It’s one of my favorites, and hit harder than the moon shaped pool version.
Astonishing, Thom Yorke really is a genius, he can play whatever and make it sound marvelous. Incredibly gifted talent, watching him play is truly a sight to behold.
Oh my god, when the crowd sings Ed's backing vocals to Weird Fishes/Arpeggi I developed an immense love for Radiohead fans everywhere...and I may or may not have sung along with them in my basement...or should I say "From My Basement"?
Technically there´s only 1 song from A Moon Shaped Pool, which is Present Tense; True love waits was first played in 1995, and played live many times before it found its way into AMSP.
technically there's no official studio record of true love waits before 2016 :) so it is from AMSP, don't talk to strangers like you know everything, you didn't say anything new to me
Sorry sr. why, I just don´t get why the the people on the internet is so hostil all the time. What are you, 15?, the songs was published on "I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings (2001)" to mee its seems thats enough to don´t call it exclusively a AMSP song! Sorry if my attempt to correct you turned out offensive for you. Have a good day.
Sorry sr. , I just don´t get why people on the internet need to show how smarter they are then everybody. I'm sorry, you're such a big fan, please, educate me. Have a good day too! (I could correct your english also, but I'm not like you)
I personally don't need a Radiohead's Neil Degrasse Tyson, so don't worry, you don't need to go out there "correcting" people, that's not your job, and you will sound like a douche.
Whole concert was beautiful, whats more to say, Thom Yorke is a genius, Radiohead is one of the best bands ever. Every song was great, my favorite was Black Swan the guitar line is awesome, and the drummed acoustic loops and voice loops were simply awesome and added to the song.
Man, this must be one of the best live performances I've ever seen and the way it was filmed just makes you feel like you're there. Genious. Thanks for sharing!
AUSTIN BROCK, YOU ROCK!!! For those of us in the Antipodes who don't have a chance at seeing Latitude et.al., (Sydney, Australia, in this case), your efforts are more than extremely appreciated. This is always going to be one of my favourites. Despite Thom saying he was nervous, he looked and sounded natural and relaxed...Not to mention endearing and adorable...Yes, I'm a fan.
Wow -- I miss live music. Being transported back to 2009 rn...this version of Follow Me Around is damn great. I was stood near the guy who kept shouting out Banana co. eugh.
Think of ahead of his time he is .. well he and Jonny , weird fishes was everything I needed in this cold world.. on the edge of taking my own life but somehow Thom heals and expresses my pain.. even just looking at him ,❤😊
Austin!! I saw a posting of There There by someone else, and then saw YOU had the ENTIRE CONCERT! You are the best, my friend!!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR THIS!!! (P.S. Did you intentionally post this on Jonny Greenwood's birthday? LOL)
Unbelievably talented. Saw Radiohead only once, at All Points West '08 - would've loved to be at this show. I was going to say that 'The Eraser' was an amazing album for a first solo album, but the qualifier can be removed - it's an amazing album period. I would've loved to have been at this show.
god just imagine how good a studio version of the present tense would be. such a beautiful song.

Well
When I first heard the studio version. I fell in love
greetings i am from the future. present tense has now been recorded in studio and on the album ‘a moon shaped pool’
Nintendo version of Weird Fishes
Now it exists
@@dunno_504 God ur right. These comments make me tear up, time flies.
9:12 The audience was doing Ed's job making vocals, and Thom said "louder, you know it" lol
Doria Z lol that's so cool :)
😁thats why we love him
If you know it he said ..! 😉
that smile tho :)
Thom Yorke truly is one of the biggest musical geniuses of all time.
No he's only about 1.66cm
@@323suzuki thom yorki shardy 😊
thom is lyrical genius, the musical genius is jonny
@@revanasywalNot true. Thom writes the songs; lyrics, melody, and harmony. Jonny adds parts to them.
@@323suzukiBut everyone is between one and two meters.
Present Tense's bridge makes me cry. The emotion this man pours out of himself is simply astonishing
Still can't get over how great Thom was at this concert
He always do..😍
Tu eres muy afortunado

When the crowd sing along during Weird fishes.....God
Wow, just went to see The Smile in Montreux Jazz last week, time has gone so fast. It s been a while since I watched this amazing gig. So great
lovely ! so rare to see Thom so relaxed et so charming ! Great performances !!
Thom's emotion makes me feel like weeping with joy - I'm so glad he's in the world - no one compares, ever
Right on.
True love waits gets me every time. A bummer for me that they never released the original aside from the live one. It’s one of my favorites, and hit harder than the moon shaped pool version.
I think I can safely say that there is no other artist who bears his soul as much as this dude right here. He is my hero. My muse. My idol.
Astonishing, Thom Yorke really is a genius, he can play whatever and make it sound marvelous. Incredibly gifted talent, watching him play is truly a sight to behold.
This is my fave Yorke performance ever. I find it so incredibly calming and inspiring..It has my whole heart..
Right too bad I only found it last year
Atoms for Peace was soooooooooo beautiful
Agree
got to be honest, weird Fishes has always been a full band effort. Ed's vocals are vital
Disagree...especially the Koko Version
TheKnowlesy56 It's those robot drum beats that i can't bare
TheKnowlesy56 the crow could've done a better job. still, very interesting version.
No way dude. Bow down to your drum machine overlords. Boom clack... b'clack! Boom clack... b'clack!
True
2019 and still a go to for me, anyone else?

2009 and he played 2 songs from A moon shaped pool, beautiful

This camera work makes me feel like I'm driving in non-stop windy hills, makes me feel nauseous
Can't get enough of Harrowdown Hill. It just stands out to me from everything on his solo album.
This is an amazing performance! I'm loving the live deconstruction. Inspiring!
This stripped down version of The Present Tense blows away the studio version in my humble opinion. So emotional here. Love it.
The PT Anderson one with Jonny, Thom and CR-78 blows all them away.
True love waits, performed live in 2002 at Bridge School Benefit.......true love waits many years to really be true
Много лет возвращаюсь к этой записи, как к пику мастерства Тома. Огромное спасибо.
What a talented guy. He should start a band!

I love the beginning of Atoms For Peace, "what dear?" lol
Weird fishes give me chills, it's amazing how the crowd is doing the backing vocals. Also great to see that Yorke likes that a lot.
love this version of weird fishes, so pure and honest..
Man, this must be one of the best live performances I've ever seen and the way it was filmed just makes you feel like you're there. Genious. Thanks for sharing!

His emotions during Present Tense...oh God,he is such a magnificent human being

The sound file used was from a separate audio bootleg synced to this video. Crowd was edited out as much as possible.
I'll save this concert and show this to my children... and grandsons.
Lol the person clapping in 36:48
Simply the Best!!!Beautiful and mesmerising!!!!
pretty sure its the best version of weird fishes... love the drama in his face
Only things from space could have created this man.

I have so wrongly under rated this man.
thats the best fucking performance of "Black Swan" i´ve ever heard. Simply amazing.
Love hearing Thom stripped down like this.
When the crowd joins in on the parts where he says "hey ya" in weird fishes, it's just so damn awesome i got shivers.
Thank you so much for putting this up. =)
Thom is genius.
maravilloso !!! muchas gracias por todos tus videos austinbrock ...
AustinBrock, you sir, are the hero of the internet.
outstanding vocals!!
Videotape so beautiful here.
Also love when the crowd helps singing Ed's vocal on Weird Fishes
"Hang on" "Do you do this to all (of) your friends?" "That is if of course if you have (any)" "This is a new song so, you know, go for a piss."
Thank you so very much! Wonderful site!
I think I account for about 300k of these viewing numbers
