It is our duty to support and protect artists such as this who bring beauty into lives and ask for little in return.
I mean no disrespect but I don't think the monotony of life is a common theme of Radiohead's music at all. Of all the many things I may have felt about their work, the exploration of monotony is definitely not one of them.
Hello Everyone, Thank you all for the kind love and support. And more thanks to all my new subscribers. This video was devised as a temporary goodbye to Bushwick as my job [I am a film editor by trade] had taken me elsewhere. The response and outreach its had has been truly touching and overwhelming. And to all those who were there that night that are just started to find this, as I see in comments here and there: Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for taking the time to settle in that space with me. You all brought such enjoyment to me when watching this back. And you guys, every night I went down there, made my stay in New York so fucking incredible. To all who've asked about my Instagram... I do not have one 😅. My brain is horrible with it. I am however, finally able to begin working with a close friend and superb musician. We're slowly, but surely, progressing on our first EP - self-produced out in Joshua Tree, where I'm currently residing. The band is called "OxHunt." And hopefully the social media presence for that will be a bit more "active" as it develops. And this channel will be where I share further info. We are also working on getting to another video. I had to rent equipment and labor for this video as this was never something I had intended on up-keeping, nor do I intend to monetize as ads ruin everything. As such, along with my desire for unique environments and extended experiences, the videos are a bit more spread out than I would like. Thank you for the patience! And for those asking about this lovely guitar. It is a LAG Tramontane. It was given to me by a dear friend, David Myton, whose beloved dog, Daisy, passed away days before I posted this and why there is a dedication at the outset of the video. Thank you to everyone for *slowing down* and taking the time to listen! I so appreciate you.

A solid hour of some of the best Radiohead covers I’ve ever seen. And it only has seven thousand views. Gods of the UA-cam Algorithm, give this artist some love.
Bro I’ve spent the last 6-8 years learning from the best covers of Radiohead and he had nailed every song I managed to learn and perform them to my highest ideals. Honestly inspirational to aspire to cover these songs to the level you did.
Back in September, I was standing on the opposite track listening to your rendition of Lotus Flower and thought to myself “this is the best Radiohead cover I’ve ever heard.” I regret not telling you that your music moved me, and that you inspired me to better my own guitar and singing. I’ve just been listening to the video recording on my phone… so I can’t say how happy I am to have found you! Radiohead is my favorite band and you, my friend, capture their magic. Just a mic a guitar and hundreds hours of playing on its own in his bedroom I imagine to perform a set like that who makes a metro train station sounds like a little heaven on Earth. ❤👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✨
I grew up in New York. Now I understand why hearing Radiohead changed my life. The people don’t know what’s happening to them but it’s happening. And their lives are all the better for this chance encounter. You make me think of Orpheus in the underworld fighting to rescue his wife Eurydice from hell. I am going to write a song about you. After all, it’s spring. ❤️

That he wasn't completely ignored, that some people stayed and listened, and cheered and applauded, and threw in some change-has brought me back some degree of hope, and reinforces the will to continue in this path of music. It's all about touching people and sharing one beautiful moment together. I don't think he cared much whether anyone listened or not, whether anyone threw him a bone or not; there's no ego bleeding or being displayed-he was just there in his special place, pouring his heart out for no one. I think that was part of the allure, and that people shared in those moments, made it more special. I'm taking notes, thank you for sharing your beautiful soul, Monsieur Dabu.

So symbolic......watching trains arriving and leaving, people crossing, some stay for moment some dont...... how pitty we see greatness touching our lives and just slowly walk by. Great gig man👌
This is truly sensational. There aren’t many who can cover Radiohead without sounding like awful musical cliches - especially acoustically. The paranoid android cover was incredible - how you managed to arrange that and made it sound like an entire band playing is just beyond words. Great work !
Hey, you might not see this but what you did with "There There" was pretty damn interesting. Totaly made it your own, which is pretty hard to do for Radiohead. I always liked the deep brooding aspect of "There there" like I can feel my soul getting dragged away into a deep dark forest on a cloudy moonlit night. You made it chipper though. Your version makes it like it's daytime in the desert and you're just getting by until the next town rolls up to your feet. Very cool.
Rhythm, vocal range so smooth, clean playing (Radiohead had 3 guitarists). Man, this video makes me jealous!! Seriously impressive chops. Hope you keep tapping the rich vein of Radiohead for years and years! Great song choices too!
22.36 here, just watched/listened to the whole set. Man, I listen to a lot if this stuff, there was some certain magic happening there. People & trains passing through, it could have looked utterly dystopian, but wasnt, it was a performance and time full of hope. Beautiful, thank you. Nude...wow 😢
Piece of ART! Great work with the camera, every aspect from the video created the right atmosphere for Radiohead music; melancholy seen in the dark corridors of the station; loneliness from the continuos movement of the people, but no one was able to stay the whole concert; and "How to disappear completely" was a perfect song to end it up, showing how little are we in a big city, that each one of us could disappear today and the machine city would keep functioning.
What a masterpiece! I have been an ardent Radiohead fan for the past 15 odd years and have heard a bunch of covers. But none were as close to yours. I couldn't help but fight the uncanny resemblance to Thom in you, feeling goosebumps all throughout the performance, with each eye twitch, each lip twist and extended falsetos; Absolutely stunning. Thank you for doing this and making Radiohead immortal in the hearts of hardcore fans such as us! Kudos to the camera persons for capturing it so artistically. Almost feels like I was at the subway station. Love

this is my favorite part about living in NYC...meeting these amazing performers. First it was Moon Hooch YEARS ago when they were at Union Square Friday nights and now you! Perfection.
As a huuuuuge fan of Radiohead. I am truly floored by this performance. What a beautiful set. New fan for sure! ❤
Busking is an essential practice for every musician. Thank you for documenting yours. Amazing.
So symbolic......watching trains arriving and leaving, people crossing, some stay for moment some dont...... how pitty we see greatness touching our lives and just slowly walk by. Great gig man👌
I was going to write my thoughts but then I saw you already did. The perfect comment for a perfect performance.
setting the bar for Radiohead covers. Incredible voice.
This is truly sensational. There aren’t many who can cover Radiohead without sounding like awful musical cliches - especially acoustically. The paranoid android cover was incredible - how you managed to arrange that and made it sound like an entire band playing is just beyond words. Great work !
I am the woman vaping in the background.
It's not good for you lady, please look at stopping.
@@confuseddad2865 oh i'm sure she'll listen to your comment confuseddad2865 :-)
@@cooldude3010 I quit now.
@@tomg7872 ha! Told you they would listen
@@tomg7872 good shit, hope your life is going swell
Your paranoid android cover was actually insane thank you for the video
It seems so fitting of you to play so many songs from the "pay what you want" album.
Great song choices too!
your paranoid android is insanely good, and the silhouette of that older man in the foreground is wonderful. (27:42)
he s got airpods so it does not vibe with the song
Just amazing! I can't imagine how difficult it can be to do a cover of one of the greatest and most creative bands of all time.
Your voice on Reckoner is sublime...
god damn, your version of 'nude' is surreal. Wow. Amazing set man
22.36 here, just watched/listened to the whole set. Man, I listen to a lot if this stuff, there was some certain magic happening there. People & trains passing through, it could have looked utterly dystopian, but wasnt, it was a performance and time full of hope. Beautiful, thank you. Nude...wow 😢
I can’t stop crying. Thank you.
2 minutes in, and I'm hooked. This is beautiful. Guess I'm gonna be late to wherever I was going... would love to hear your take on True Love Waits.
I'd love to do a True Love Waits
One of the best thing that UA-cam has present me
What a masterpiece! Love
The meeting people is easy vibes really ices the cake. So good. Vocally and musically perfect.
you, your voice, guitar skill and radiohead song, 10/10.
Holy shit, those first few high notes of Ill Wind... Downright impressive
