The vocals don't fit right, the instrumental elements are so good it's a shame...
The vocals are a bit boring compared to Beth's voice. Should have done something to make kt more interesting
Intro is amazing and then vocal is so plain so boring, not matched this type song. thats a mistake. There should be reverbed or phased or mixed of those. And drums are unnecessary and made disfocus of song's aura.
Respectfully disagree. I love that the vocal sounds natural and pure, with the 'effects' restricted to the background atmospherics. And the drums? They make this epic, my pulse quickens when they ratchet up.
What's the point of a cover if you just refer it closely to the original in more ways than not. Each song is organic and has its own life. When artists sing them, they give it their own life and it changes a bit more. Let everyone make their own ideas of different songs so that the song's collective life is better for it.
