    My beautiful daughter did not survive this illness. She was like you, but now she lives with Jesus. She was 22. The most traumatic and horrible thing to experience. But she was also at that point of being ready to go home. She was in so much pain. I have several other children (and myself) with EDS, gastroparesis, POTS, MCAS etc. I hope and pray none of them ever get as sick as their older sister was. Your healing is a miracle!

      I'm so, so sorry for your loss. I lost a dear friend and fellow warrior who had the same illnesses I did. I only wish I had known then what I know now. But my consolation is that I will see her again! She was a beautiful ambassador for Christ all the way until her last moments.

    Maybe I am just too stubborn, but I have never believed for one second that I would be sick for the rest of my life. I have been able to get so much relief just from moving my body and eating good nourishing foods, and I have been learning so much about nervous system/brain retraining and I fully believe that it can bring about complete healing.
    Thank you so much for sharing your story. People think things are impossible right up until they witness it happening, and the more people share their stories of healing, the more it empowers others to discover their own. ❤

    I'm so thankful to be here today to comment on your video about your awful experience struggling to survive. It hits so close to home for me I can't even believe it. I'm here listening to someone else's experience which is a very VERY similar story to my own. I'm only just now learning what caused my health crisis at the end of 2014 and early 2015. Nobody knew what happened to me or why. Paralyzed, in a wheel chair, unable to control my body functions, my parents found an allergist (I was in my early 30s btw) and the allergist prescribed cromolyn sodium capsule things which I put into water and drank 30 mins before I ate... That was the ONLY THING that started me onto the road to recovery. I'm just now, in the end of 2024, finding out that I have hEDS and am searching for a doctor to start the process of diagnosis. My heart goes out to you, friend. I am so thankful you are here to explain your story! Thank you.

    I have EDS and mostly deal with pain and fatigue, somehow my gut has survived well and I think that’s why I don’t have the severe MCAS problems. However my 21 year old son is 130 lbs and so so sick 😭. We had mold in our home and he kept having Epstein Barr flares, and he lost 40 lbs in 2 months in 2021. LDN seems to be helping some. I’m sending him this video. Unfortunately he rejects Christ at this time. But I’m trying to reach him every day. Please pray for my Ethan! Also my other son Jac, is has EDS, MCAS, ADHD, is probably autistic and acute adrenal insufficiency. He’s on steroids and I absolutely abhor it. They need healing! Try vagus nerve stimulation. Look for a physical therapist that uses the dolphin neurostimulation. Most issues with eds/pots is the instability in your neck where the nerves are being pinched. The vagus nerve is your body's self-healing mechanism.. without it, everything goes horribly wrong. It's one more option to give a try. It's painless and drug free.

      I had typed a long response and posted it, but apparently UA-cam deleted it. Ugh. I'm so sorry. I had forgotten to put my practitioner's info in the description, but I've added it now. Some of the things I did were intensive nervous system retraining, gut microbiome testing and customized supplement protocol, low histamine diet, as well as grounding/earthing for hours every single day. Check out the Earthing Movie here on UA-cam as well as the Earthing book by Clint Ober. Dr. Laura Koniver's channel is amazing as well. But the number one most important thing (and the missing link when every holistic treatment I tried in the past failed) is nervous system work. Brain retraining, vagus nerve regulation, etc. My nervous system was telling my immune system, cardiovascular system, digestive system, urinary system, and more to go haywire. Once I addressed that, and was able to shift out of freeze and fight/flight (sympathetic state), I was able to heal. Look into polyvagal theory as well as psychoneuroimmunology.

      After each pregnancy my symptoms got much worse, and after the third, my health completely fell apart. But knowing what I know now about healing the nervous system and recovering from MCAS, I would not be afraid to have children. None of children have symptoms, but as a precaution, I am teaching them principles of nervous system health and healthy coping mechanisms at a young age. However, I did also have congenital anatomical deformities that made my case especially difficult: Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrom and Nutcracker Syndrome. Since having both of those surgically corrected with a MALS release and kidney auto-transplant, they are no longer an issue.

    I dont have MCAS (at least no sign of it). I am struggling with POTS and Vasovagal Syncope, do you think the anti-histamine program would be important, or just the nervous system work? I am watching your posts on Instagram! And I got the Heal Your Nervous System that you mentioned. Slowly reading through it, brain fog makes it hard to concentrate 😅. Feeling some hope, but also really scared. Ive tried so many things...

    • @AngelaHepp
      @AngelaHepp  11 місяців тому +4

      I also didn't believe I had MCAS, until I completed the symptom survey on Www.mastcell360.com and saw that I had almost the highest score you can get! My PCP started me on mast cell stabilizers because we had nothing left to try, and he just wanted to see if it would help. When it did (slightly), I knew MCAS was a culprit so I joined Happy Without Histamine. I had NO idea the program would heal everything, but after reading Dr. Afrin's book, "Never Bet Against Occam," I learned that MCAS was at the root of virtually everything I had going on (including POTS and EDS), and that a dysregulated method nervous system was at the root of the MCAS. So I would recommend taking that test on her website before giving up on the possibility of MCAS as a contributing factor. ❤️

      I guess I don't understand why people praise God. Many people get terrible diseases and don't know why. They die with it. I cannot understand why God creates bodies that are so frail that most people do not heal. It appears random and spurious that some find answers and get healed and others die. I've had stomach pain my entire life. About a week after I started taking Hair Skin & Nails vitamins (Walgreens brand) the stomach pain disappeared!! Lactose intolerance also greatly diminished. Who would've ever thought?!? I've been taking the vitamins for a year and a half now. If i run out for a few weeks the stomach pain and lactose intolerance will start returning. So this confirms that it's truly the vitamins doing the healing. 🙏

      Food for thought... If you've been taking the vitamins for a year and a half and the pain still returns when you stop them, has healing actually occurred? While I absolutely agree that nutrients are important, I also encourage you to look into nervous system healing, which will allow your body to actually rest/digest/repair at the cellular level. Happy Healing!

      @@AngelaHepp That is an excellent point! It doesn't happen right when I stop taking the vitamins, rather it's a slow gradual progression after about a month of not taking them. Therefore I attribute the symptom return to my vitamin stores running low. I have issues with nutrient absorption so I assume a vitamin-mineral deficiency is the culprit in the stomach pain and lactose intolerance which is why it resolves when I take the Hair Skin Nails vitamins. That being said, I also have nervous system and adrenal issues as well so yes I need some healing in that area as well.

    I Just cannot understand why soooo many doctors don’t know these chronic conditions. So happens, my family, friends don’t know anyone w/chronic conditions and pathologize the one suffering. The pain is excruciating and symptoms more out of control yet “invisible.” The fear rises the less we’re believed or supported which further disregulates our brain/nervous system. I understand your feelings of yearning and feel ready to go “home” spiritually. The medical system can be so traumatizing and it also becomes very difficult if not impossible for many, to go to appointments. Healing happens in Connection where a sense of love/care is present. We need Medical professionals who possess true empathy. That goes for everyone. It’s a lot to ask but it’s the only way to change this world.

  • @StudioMod
    @StudioMod 4 місяці тому

    My issue with H1 blockers are that even the non-drowsy kind lower my blood pressure insanely and cause severe tiredness and mild paralysis of my breathing muscles. I also have a severe allergic response to both sugar and wheat, which is almost every food there is. Sugar lowers my blood pressure almost as soon as it hits my stomach. It becomes impossible to breathe. Potato-based foods cause mild paralysis for me of my fingers and gastrointestinal tract. I have dips that come and go, sometimes I even feel fine. But I cannot exercise with my heart going wild. I worry with the EDS that I will cause one of my arteries to dissect.
    I have all these things to try to combat my condition (colostrum, quercitrin, cetrizine, pepcid, bromelain, diamine oxidase, etc) but I'm afraid they'll make it worse or just flat out not work. And that's not something I want to know... I don't want to know how screwed I am. I live on mozeralla cheese, and tortilla chips. Last year I lived on potatoes and chicken, but a vaccine I had gotten made my condition go insane and then it messed up my liver and had to get my gallbladder taken out.
    I don't know how to even approach this condition. The reactions I have to sugar and absorbable materials like vitamins and medications makes it SO hard to start combating this. I should have done this before. I'm only 29, but it feels like I'm at the end of my life. My body is completely shredded inside.

Is this a combination of brain retraining and healing the gut, good sleep hygiene, nutrition etc..similar to Mary Ruddick's 'Enable Your health'? I was able to push my MCAS away 2 years ago by drinking hydrogen water (H2). I discovered it when I started drinking H2 water when I had omicron. My MCAS disappeared in just a few days. It doesn't seem that MCAS is the genesis of all my 40 conditions even though I had MCAS since birth. I have EDS and POTS too. But I was able to push my POTS about 50% into remission. It's no longer a dominant illness for me and when I see my primary doc we don't even talk about it anymore. I think it improved dramatically when started ivermectin. Multiple nutrient deficiencies were at play here, and even though you said you weren't exposed to mold, this does sound like a possible mold exposure/toxicity - which may help others reading this. Also I would question how many prescription antibiotics have been taken in the past. If this were me I would be dosing high on Vitamin B1, copper, zinc, vit c, iodine, and choline. All of which help MCAS and histamine intolerance. Stomach acid would have also been affected which many of these nutrients directly build. The vagus nerve is important to support and for that I would do choline to make acetylcholine, Vit B1, and parasympathetic exercises. I also would have made a list of all food triggers and avoided those foods, reintroducing certain foods very slowly after improvement in other areas has been made. Avoiding high oxalate foods. Checking for mold in the house, car and anywhere else I frequented.

I did none of the things you mention at the time I was on my deathbed, but I healed from EVERYTHING by healing my nervous system, grounding/earthing, zeolite, and a temporary low histamine diet. I have both POTS and MCAS. My digestive system doesn't work right and causes me great pain. I have problems urinating. And of course I have problems standing up and with exerting myself. My understanding is that when you have POTS the autonomic nervous system has gone kaput. Therefore, the systems in your body that are suppose to work automatically do not. So, I have thought that this is why my digestion etc don't work. I didn't think it was much from the Mcas? Any thoughts everyone???

      Healing my nervous system healed my MCAS, POTS, EDS, and everything else. It truly was at the root of everything. The autonomic nervous system can be healed. No doctor ever told me that. They just wanted me on medications and IV fluids for life.

    Did you have emotional issues? I don’t find many talk about it but for me I swing from severe depression to severe anxiety and not much in between, it makes brain retraining hard

    • @AngelaHepp
      @AngelaHepp  2 місяці тому

      Yes, very much so! I was in a constant state of hyperarousal, which included awful feelings of panic, anxiety, depression, and more. Those are all symptoms of being in a survival state, and the good news is that they will go away as you continue to heal your nervous system. If you're having difficulty with brain retraining, you're not alone. It's common to struggle with visualizations especially. It was hard for me at first, which is why I created this Semi-Guided Brain Vacation. It isn't like a traditional guided meditation, which does all the work for you and leaves nothing for your brain to do, but it's also not leaving everything up to you. It uses prompts to gently guide you towards creating images, it involves all your senses, it walks you through breathwork, and brings you back to the meditation when your mind wanders. You can check it out here: www.patreon.com/heartsongrenewed/shop/semi-guided-brain-vacation-210106?

      I do not! I slowly tapered off of them and haven't needed any in months. In my case, my nervous system hugely affected my MCAS, so I'm sure they were both contributing. A couple weeks ago I had a pretty big nervous system trigger and my myoclonus and muscle weakness came back temporarily, but after doing my nervous system exercises, it calmed down and I was back to normal.

    Have you been tested for heavy metals? They can cause leaky gut by wearing away the mucosal layer of the intestines. Leaky gut causes MCAS. The metals also tax the detox pathways in the body and create an environment ripe for pathogens and parasites, which in turn also overload the detox pathways. Not to mention the neurologic affects all of that esp. the metals have on the brain.

I gave it my all from the very beginning and even when I had setbacks, I chose not to doubt, fear, and panic. I trusted the process, even when the things I was doing seemed silly or weird. And I'm now living proof that you can heal the nervous system and heal from dozens of chronic illnesses, even "genetic," "incurable" ones.
