Thank you for sharing. One thing that has kept coming to mind these past few months is "have a correct evaluation of yourself". God is doing something!

Amen! I seek daily to draw closer to God and for his conviction and correction, to reveal areas of unforgiveness, bitterness and even deep seated anger for past events. I also seek His forgiveness for my sometimes lack of time with Him and you are 100% correct it is us that move away and then feel it is God who has done so, maybe a lie whispered by the enemy when not focused daily on God and His will for our life. I'm going to be in contact soon, have been seeking prayer about an issue with my sibling and still praying for God's clear guidance, I worry about Satan's interference and discerning his lies from what God impresses upon my heart. Thank you, God knew I needed to hear this today, He is so good to me.

You will know them by their fruits. No matter how close I am, I always pray to be closer.

Dear Leah, thank you for sharing what was on your heart, that sure takes courage. Its very true that we all as Christians need to be examining our hearts and motives, daily. I completely agree about 'communication' with God too, it is always us that move, never Him. Such a good, wise and gentle word. I loved your prayer at the end so much !! God's blessings to you ~ Linda

I am discouraged in my faith. The church is empty to me. I have been studying a lot and my faith walk is going down a Torah Observant road. I find so much truth but am struggling with it.
