    Back in the 60's I had a banana bike,Then went to Harley Sportsters in the 70s. This movie motivated a lot of people and help H.D. .Yes good ole kick start Harley's back then miss them. Now I have a 05 RoadKing no kicker. But this movie became a weekly series and I watched every show we even got the knitted had to boot. RIP MICHAEL PARKS 🇺🇸 A AMERCIAN ICON

      @@ifitfliesiloveit5795 Man, you said it. Went back to my Dad's ranch in the Dakotas a couple years ago. We were 10 miles from a tiny town that used to have a lot of community spirit and was a wonderful place to grow up near. Now it is a ghost town.....nearly broke my heart. The little one room school that I went to is now abandoned and kids are bussed a long way to a larger town and the little town all but abandoned. Sad because I developed my sense of values, learned the meaning of friendship, learned to work with others in times of difficulty and pull together as a community. Now.....the few kids growing up there cannot develop that sense of togetherness. Thanks for your comment.

      @@ifitfliesiloveit5795 Your generalized Reply is so true; something felt by all; sometimes grieved. However, the point about California's 'slide downhill' cannot be excused; ignored. It is spot-on true.
      The opening San Francisco scenes of "Then Came Bronson" and from the same era, "The Streets of San Francisco," 1972 - 77 detective series and Clint Eastwood's first outing as "Dirty Harry" (1971), make the City (as locals refer to it) look like a utopia compared to the unmitigated DISASTER it is in 2020 and 2021. And that is NOT due to COVID-19, or previously the Great Recession. The elected and appointed 'civic leaders' (ed. - 'leaders,' yeah, right; what a joke; a sad, sad joke) have destroyed the city. Little by little, one measure, one ordinance at a time. Not too dissimilar to what's 86'd the one-time 'shine' in Seattle and Portland. But San Francisco was always known to posses a more cosmopolitan, exotic flair than its northern brethren in WA and OR.
      So, "you can never go home again." Check.
      San Francisco has fallen so far and so hard that old timers still 'sticking it out' and natives, long-term and short-term residents who've 'flown the coop' can agree that it doesn't stand a chance to return to its glory status, to a semblance of its former self. Check.

      @@scottbreseke716 Perhaps you were dreaming.
      My qualitative, accurate reply, aka idiot-proof, enthusiastically urged everyone to look up Bonnie Bedelia on IMDB and marvel at her string of impressive credits. In the generous, 2500 words that compile her mini-bio, personal quotes and trivia NOWHERE does it state Bonnie Bedelia went by Barbara Bedelia. Ever.
      To prove a point to the skeptical, in IMDB's search bar, try typing "Barbara Bedelia" and see what comes up. Nothing, zilch -- except a solo suggestion: Ara Bedelian (Composer, "Hired Gun" (2011)).
      No, it was not that way -- 'Barbara Bedelia' -- in the 1969 pilot / movie credits, as the untold thousands and thousands of purchasers of Warner Archive's "Then Came Bronson" pilot / movie DVD can testify. Had it been, the Comments section on Amazon would be flooded with notations of the error. Half a century ago, upon the "Then Came Bronson"'s pilot's airing, if Bedelia's credit read 'Barbara Bedelia' in error, if MGM-TV and MGM International didn't withdraw the prints on their own, Bonnie Bedelia's agent, manager, publicist, attorney and union, Screen Actors Guild, would have seen to it that it was corrected; and acknowledged via half-page ads in the two trade publications, Daily Variety and Hollywood Reporter. And at least two people each, at MGM-TV and the NBC network (which telecast pilot and series), would have been fired for not catching the (imaginary) blunder.
      But it never happened. "Scott Breseke," before making such a declarative comment, that's sure to lead some of the most dedicated "Then Came Bronson" and / or Bonnie Bedelia fans 'on a wild goose chase,' two minutes of research or a half-minute 'double-check' by you via the internet would either back up your claim, your suspicion, or assure yourself you're in error. Finally, didn't you think it strange that after 52 years you, Scott Breseke, are the ONLY ONE who noticed Bonnie Bedelia was billed under a different name on the pilot that also played theatrically in Europe so tens of millions of viewers and movie-goers saw it, spring and summer 1969?

    • @scottbreseke716
      @scottbreseke716 3 роки тому

      @@scvandy3129 I like her so much that I watched for her name in the movie credits more than once. I used to think that Barbara Bedelia and Bonnie Bedelia were perhaps sisters. If you do a Google search for Barbara Bedelia, it shows the same picture as Bonnie Bedelia, but then doesn't say anything more about it. I can't explain it. After seeing the Bronson movie, the next time I saw her was in that movie where she played a female race car driver, and I thought she was a completely different person.
