POWERS BOOTH RIP...one of the best underrated character actors. Very memorable actor, you may not know him, but you know you saw him in something. He has that strong face and voice.
I will always remember Michael Parks as Jean Renault from Twin Peaks. And Powers Boothe had one of the greatest voices ever. So sad we lost a couple of excellent character actors
I love that they mentioned Sudden death. There was also Rapid fire with Brandon Lee. Powers Boothe never failed as a villain. Powers Boothe and Michael Ironside are the greatest movie villains ever.
I remember Michael Parks from 'Then Came Bronson' when I was younger. He was 'CoooooL'. LOL But I first remember Powers Boothe from an EARLY HBO show called 'Philip Marlowe, Private Eye'. Then the following year he was in the first (and best) Red Dawn film.
Thanks for mentioning the series "Then Came Bronson" and the mini-series "Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones". Those were the two titles I remember after hearing about each actor's passing, which is not to say that any other project was more or less worthy. Also, thanks for reminding me how important character actors are to entertainment.
Did you guys ever do anything for Bill Paxton, because I'm pretty sure you didn't. I'm sad to see another pair of excellent actors lost, though I had more respect and knowledge of Powers Boothe than Parks.
Character actors are my favourites, these are the people who blow me away in movies.Very sad that we've lost these two but remember to appreciate the great one's we still have. like Ian Mcshane for an off the cuff example. The movies and TV shows would be so less interesting if it was all leading men and women.
Thanks. May they both rest in Peace. "Lord! I bear witness that in Thy servant Thou hast reposed Thy Trust, and that is the Spirit wherewith Thou hast given life to the world. I ask of Thee by the splendor of the Orb of Thy Revelation, mercifully to accept from him that which he hath achieved in Thy days." ~ Baha'u'llah
Rob Hernandez yes I watched Frailty again after Paxton passed and had forgotten that Boothe was in it. Now for my smug internet reaction from one of my other personalities. Yes "Roberto" I'm aware that Paxton directed Frailty, if I mentioned it don't you think I know that Paxton, who recently died, directed and starred in it?? News flash, Did you know that Darth Vader is in Star Wars??? And by any chance, do you think I actually watched this video where Bibbs and Alonso mentioned Tombstone??? And did you read my comment I said "my" favorite films with him in it.. not what's Robs favorite films or the other jackoff that referenced southern comfort. Ands cheers, really???? Shut your stupid face Bobby, just zip it 🤐. And I'm back, sorry about that my other personality is an asshole. I have dissociative identity disorder. Going to watch tombstone tonight, cheers!!
My favorite Powers Boothe is still Extreme Prejudice. John Goodman is the greatest character actor we have right now, that suspiciously has no love from the Academy.
He was great in Frailty I have not seen Sin City.He was also real good in Tombstone. And I think he appeared in that ghost movie with the little girl and the tv saying"their back"Cheers
Michael parts always had the good Badguy roles. He smoked he look bad and he'll Shoot you and say it's nonthing personal.😂 And still have time to finish his Cigarette. Dang he was such a badass.
Bad week for character actors. RIP to the guy who could make Jim Jones MORE creepy and RIP to the guy who put on a master class in a terrible Kevin Smith movie.
He was only President in Redemption, in which he had a limited screen time. In season 6 he was acting President since Palmer hadn't died yet, just incapacitated. That being said, as small as his screen time was in Redemption, he was absolutely phenomenal in it. Conveying so much with so little. You could see how weary he'd become as President.
hey, WTF fans, i need help. there's a a review these guys did where Matt compares a shit movie to a Princess Mononoke and Alonso has a hilarious reaction. anyone remember which review that was? I want to gif that reaction.
That is because actors of that type aren't that important. In that realm, Chris Cooper and James Rebhorn are WAY better, but they still wouldn't be worth the butt hole licking that goes on in this overblown "tribute."
POWERS BOOTH RIP...one of the best underrated character actors. Very memorable actor, you may not know him, but you know you saw him in something. He has that strong face and voice.
Both had great lives and left a legacy that will not be forggoten, thanks for doing this.
R.I.P.
I will always remember Michael Parks as Jean Renault from Twin Peaks. And Powers Boothe had one of the greatest voices ever. So sad we lost a couple of excellent character actors
Powers Boothe and Michael Parks were awesome actors who will be missed. RIP to both.
I love that they mentioned Sudden death. There was also Rapid fire with Brandon Lee. Powers Boothe never failed as a villain. Powers Boothe and Michael Ironside are the greatest movie villains ever.
My favorite Boothe performance is in By Dawn's Early Light, the scariest move I ever saw.
I remember Michael Parks from 'Then Came Bronson' when I was younger.
He was 'CoooooL'. LOL
But I first remember Powers Boothe from an EARLY HBO show called 'Philip Marlowe, Private Eye'.
Then the following year he was in the first (and best) Red Dawn film.
Loved Powers in Tombstone
the reflection in the table almost says "HELP"
Loved them both. Still can't believe they're gone. Both were amazing actors.
May you both rest in peace. Both of you are missed.❤️❤️
Great job, guys. Thanks for this.
Powers Booth was AMAZING in Sudden Death. R.I.P to both
One of my favorite Van Damme movies. Love that movie! And Boothe plays such a great bad guy!
He was a great movie villain, that's for sure. RIP.
Whaaatttt...???!!!!
oh maaannn... two great cinematic creepy villainy character actors...
R.I.P. to both greats.
Dammit HBO, get the lead out with the Deadwood movie before any more of the wonderfully talented cast dies.
The trailer was just released!
Thanks for mentioning the series "Then Came Bronson" and the mini-series "Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones". Those were the two titles I remember after hearing about each actor's passing, which is not to say that any other project was more or less worthy.

I will say it again we are losing a lot of good actors. Once they are gone they are gone.
Good Tribute to two greats. Thanks
Did you guys ever do anything for Bill Paxton, because I'm pretty sure you didn't. I'm sad to see another pair of excellent actors lost, though I had more respect and knowledge of Powers Boothe than Parks.
What a loss ....😪😪😪rapid fire and tombstone and southern comfort are my favorite movies.
Southern Comfort was his best performance imho.
8:18 - Parks also played two roles within the Kill Bill universe; Sheriff McGraw AND Esteban Vihaio. An amazing actor.
I will always remember Powers Boothe for being GRODD! And yes, so will you.
Probably the 2 best actors of not just this generation, but ANY generation.
Character actors are my favourites, these are the people who blow me away in movies.Very sad that we've lost these two but remember to appreciate the great one's we still have. like Ian Mcshane for an off the cuff example. The movies and TV shows would be so less interesting if it was all leading men and women.
The first time I really noticed Powers Boothe was in Oliver Stone's U Turn, he was absolutely amazing in it.
THEN CAME BRONSON
Powers was great......I always remembered him most from Red Dawn....he chewed the scenes like no other
Southern Comfort was my favourite powers boothe performance
Both EXCELLENT ACTORS! I feel EVERY Powers Boothe role is his best. C'mon argue with me. Michael is almost the same. Damn shame they're gone
I remember a while back Tarantino saying that he thought that Michael Parks was the best actor he ever directed.
Michael parks also played in deathwish 3 and hitman with Chuck Norris.
Sin city and Frailty are my favorite Booth films... And that opening scene from dusk till dawn with Parks!
Please watch him in Southern Comfort
SoulStylistJukeBox I have. 43 and I've seen pretty much everything he's done. Michael Parks, only during and after his Tarantino renaissance.
Frailty is a great movie, Directed by Bill Paxton. Don't forget that he was great in Tombstone.Cheers
Rob Hernandez yes I watched Frailty again after Paxton passed and had forgotten that Boothe was in it.

Always thought he was jan Michael Vincent at first.
They look so much alike.
My favorite Powers Boothe is still Extreme Prejudice. John Goodman is the greatest character actor we have right now, that suspiciously has no love from the Academy.
Powers Boothe was also great in Frailty and Sin City
He was great in Frailty I have not seen Sin City.He was also real good in Tombstone. And I think he appeared in that ghost movie with the little girl and the tv saying"their back"Cheers
Powers Boothe in Agents of Shield was the last thing I saw him in. I want to see Tusk but I'm afraid.
Michael parks was great in Twin Peaks
As a late Gen-Xer, my 'difinitive' Powers Boothe is definitely U-Turn and Sin City.
sad they both left us about the same time 😖
Powers Boothe: Mace Ryan. "Go buy yourself a bag of doughnuts".
I really like Mr Booth.
Cliff curtis all has been said
Michael parts always had the good
Badguy roles.
He smoked he look bad and he'll

Oh no...
God bless President Daniels
He was only President in Redemption, in which he had a limited screen time. In season 6 he was acting President since Palmer hadn't died yet, just incapacitated.
That being said, as small as his screen time was in Redemption, he was absolutely phenomenal in it. Conveying so much with so little. You could see how weary he'd become as President.
I remember Powers Booth in Frailty
Twin Peaks

I had no idea that Jon Polito died last year.
