- Today in our local town there is a little festival going on. We're not quite sure what it's for but we'll do a bit of research and try to find out, however it's on for a whole week so we'll definitely visit again!
There's loud music, a children's fairground, neon lights and so much street food! It's a sensory overload with the sounds, sights and amazing smells. It's very affordable too which makes it even more enjoyable. We all had a brilliant evening!

I agree with you Nat, these village Temple festivals are amazing and the food, out of this world and so difficult to choose because of the vast selection. You are all braver than me going on that rickety old big wheel, but you certainly got your moneys worth! The girls had a great time so I am not surprised that you are all tired out! Your kids have loved it. Very nice video. You really look after your kids very well and they are learning a lot, Much more than in Bangkok. Could you just mention in future which village such fairs are held so that people know where to go to

It's definitely a fun ride on the ferris wheel. However, my stomach always feels strange as I go over the top from going up to going down again.
Yeah we weren't huge fans of it 🤣 the kids did well though!
I think they call it ngan-wat… temple fair. Some of these fairs also have an Adults-only section, with Adult entertainment.
