- Our first Vlog! We've decided to quit our jobs and sell everything to move to Thailand and live a more self sustainable farm life.
In this video we show the first steps of the girls getting passport photos done and talking about our plans going forward with the channel.

I CANNOT get over Natts accent! My mum is from Isaan and has been in the UK for over 30 years and she still very much sounds like she just got off the plane for the first time 😊 I can’t wait to watch your journey unfold. Eeek! ❤

Good show watching your move… Thailand is a great place to live.. I’ve been here 7 years and 10 years prior full time in China. … I’m US citizen…things go sideways from norm sometimes but go with the flow be patience it’ll sort out… we’re in NE Isaan… when ever the water or electric goes off… first thing ok where’s papa 555 is got good intentions but sometimes end result is iffy..

Great video, looking forward to following your journey. I moved to Thailand 12 years ago. Took a while to get used to things but, can’t see us going back to England for anything other than a holiday. My wife’s Thai so, it makes things easier but, Thai people great and easy to get on with. Best wishes for your move.

Just watch your interview on Thairish Times, my family are moving to Chiang Mai too but not until the summer of 2024. We still need to save for our daughter’s school, and a few other budgets. We should chat and compare notes, I am Vietnamese/American and my wife is from Brazil. We hope you all the best and successful moving to that town between Pattaya and Bangkok. Just found your channel through the My life in Thailand channel, loving the look inside of your life there. I don’t realize just how recently you made the move. I’m a year from starting my life in Isaan, and seeing how others are building their lives in Thailand puts a smile on my face and reminds me what my wife and I are working towards.

Just subscribed to your blog, caught you on Thairish Times. Rooting for you guys and will follow you. I grew up on a farm, so I know the physical labor involved. Does Camilla really understand what it takes to keep a farm running and sustainable? Lots of physical work growing enough vegetables, fruit to be self-sustaining. Not to mention raising your own chickens etc. But you can do it if you are both committed. It will be a beautiful place to live. I understand your reasons for seeking a different experience for your family. Go for it! England will always be waiting in the same old place if you want to return some day.😊

How much was the land and house in Thailand?
Thank you so much 🙏 We are still tallying up the total for house build. It's around 2-3million baht but unsure yet of the actual figure. The land has been acquired years ago, so we got a good price on that. I'll check exactly and give you a better response 🙂

I just discovered your first vlog today (28 Nov 23). I thought your introduction would have been a little longer than 13 minutes, but that's ok. I'll continue watching.
This was only a couple of weeks after we decided we were going to move to Thailand and we were new to UA-cam. Nothing was set in stone, we just had ideas and a rough plan. Everyone has to start somewhere 😊
