I did my first one-month solo Thai trip last December. Loved every part of it. Bangkok > Chiang Mai > Krabi > Koh Lanta > Phuket > Koh Phagnan > Bangkok > Home (UK)
Visiting Thailand, specifically Bangkok, in 2022 I thoroughly enjoyed the vastness of the city, endless options for food/drinks and safe/clean transit systems. There is much more of Thailand for me to visit but I recommend it to anyone wanting to explore SE Asia.
I think it’s wise for people specifically us foreigners to explore more than just the hot spot areas. There is way more to Thailand than Bangkok,Pattaya,Phuket,Chiang Mai,krabi, hua hin,koh phi phi,koh samui.I haven’t even been to Thailand yet and I know areas that most people don’t even know that exist. The areas outside of these hotspot destinations have much more to offer when it comes to culture and the food.
Great video!! It’s nice to hear what other people have to say 😊 We didn’t know what to expect before coming here and now that we’re here, we ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! Amazing country and sweetest people ❤👍
Enjoyed the whole video especially the first two interviews Chai. Back in Chiang Mai already and the Malaysia visit completed so quickly!! That caught me by surprise!! Cheers mate 🤩
Haha yeah sorry man. A few things messed up my schedule in KL so I only made 3 videos instead of the 5 I had in mind 😅 no big problem though 😊 greetings from the north of Thailand
Nice one Chai. Very relatable replies. You kinda forget how it was on your first visit and the initial expectations you had. So different now 15y later 😂. Just back myself from our month "at home". Time to catch up on some of your vids! Keep going strong!
Karens (Kayin ethnic tribe) are from Myanmar originally. But they also reside in Thailand because we are so close over the border. We share some ethnic groups between Myanmar and Thailand such as : Shan (Thai related ethnic known in Thai as "Tai" Shan is Burmese word to mean "Tai" = original name), Mon and Karen (Kayin).
Top shelf interviewing my friend - everybody living life , travelling & happy in Thailand and I will be back there next week 🤩 - Thanks as always Champ 😎✌️👋😃👍✔️🙏
Glad you spent Xtra time!, with the beautiful soul in blue she was Pretty informative and a smart observer . Great to see you in CM ,as im heading back there in Sept, after 7yrs . Would be nice if you included where you're staying, pics n prices etc, even though I really like your Specialty... your interviews on the street !, always great and uniquely you., but still, adding in a little extra of prices updates is , just a personal thought and request for knowledge. 👍😎 Keep Living the Life, time is short , matter what you think now.. Aloha from Maui 🤙😎
For ATM fee difference Bank charge difference rate but from my experience SCB bank will be the best rate for ATM fee and don’t use any other banks ever.❤❤😊
Had a great time taking the train ride to chaing mai, from Bangkok, instead of flying, much better for the adventure and views, besides the people you caneet along the way . If you plan ahead, you can rent the sleeping quarters pretty inexpensively vs same old hotel/hostel $ .imho, more memories!🥳 Silver Temple, is a must ! Once you see the carvings, you'll know what I mean.😮😊

Odd comment
So why? What's the problem? Thailand is open and respectful regardless of your gender. Just be a good person and not cause others suffering.
You have never been to Thai I think
