Lovely visit to your childhood village. Good time reminiscing & introducing your village to Camilla & the girls as well as providing some entertainment & talk to the village.
I think where we are now is perfect for the time-being, best of both worlds and close enough to the village to visit often. But we'll see what the future holds 😊
This is such a lovely vlog to show real village family life in Thailand, Thank you for sharing your experience to visit your family & great to see how everyone remembers you and typical Thai hospitality showing how genuine thai people are ,its so heartwarming to see.
Absolutely amazing. When I went to Brasil back in 1998 as I mentioned before, I went to the city I was born in and the old neighborhood, and just about everyone who was still there came to see me. It was like a block party. Get this though, the city has a population of over almost 300K (or might be over 300K now), but there are more people from my city in the US than there rofl. My grand aunt has a star fruit tree along with a Cacao tree, Guava tree and a Pinha (Annona Squamosa) tree. Also can't forget the Mango trees, Coconut trees, Jackfruit tree and my favorite Jabuticaba trees. These are the videos that brings back those memories I keep telling you about. Thank you once again for another absolute great video and as always hugs to the family.
Ahh wow, that's absolutely amazing! You have some great stories, it's nice to hear that we had a similar upbringing and I'm glad our vlogs resonate with you! Thank you for watching and sharing your experiences 😄🙏
@@NativeFarang I forgot to mention, that little Nelore calf will be driving people crazy. If you ever have some time, look up "Nelore sendo Nelore" which translates to Nelore being Nelore. I think they are the meanest Zebu out there lol.

The fisherman is so resourceful, Boi. I wish I live near so I can give him the extra bags that my husband does not use, you know, for his fishing tools. The girls look happy there. Good that you have loving family. Country living is good for your lungs, definitely. Fresh air is plenty & free. Hi to your lovely wife, whose name escapes me at the moment.

Every country has villages that are rural. But every countryside is not poor. Normally, most of the countryside in Thailand has a decent level of living, which makes life not very difficult.
I wonder how much the elephants cost, how much it costs to care for them, what are the requirements to keep an elephant, etc. An interview with an elephant owner would be interesting. My mom wanted an elephant when she was a child. My grandma told her to bury some elephant poo and to keep watering it. Did you pass by any Isan elephant homestays?
@@kate8950 I can imagine it's very expensive to keep an elephant and would take up a huge amount of time and space, this is why these owners dedicate their lives to them. I would definitely be interested in interviewing an owner to find out! I believe because of the expense and commitment etc that keeping an elephant should be respected and not shamed, especially by people who don't understand the cultural context! Haha that's brilliant 😅 Yes, the elephant kingdom in Surin is full of homestays and elephant experiences 🙏
