Hey I have the same key brand, I bought from a used car. The unlock button doesn't work all the time. The locked button works better. I already changed the battery but it didn't fix the problem. Also unlock and lock sound stopped working (probably a fuse). But if you any suggestions in what could be the problem please let me know.
@@Christian-sx2xh more likely it's the control that's bad. The best way is to buy the unit, which isn't too expensive and replace the one you have. This will give you two new remotes. Don't try just buying the remotes unless there's a programing video out there, I've heard people struggle programing it. Also, you'll spend the same amount of money just buying the whole unit. As of right now it's 30 on amazon. It's not hard to swap out, the unit should be under your steering wheel in the kick panel. Hope this helps.
@ I will consider that. I have a second key too and it behaves the same. When I'm inside the car trying to unlock it makes two tic-ing sounds but doesn't unlock. If i try to locking it when it's already locked. It makes the sounds like it's locking it again. Then trying unlocking it will work better than not trying this method to unlock the car. I will try swapping the control unit one day Thank you
@Christian-sx2xh do your actuators work well? I'm having an issue with mine on a cobalt. I'm going to lube things up but it also maybe your actuators going out. What year car you got?
Amazon. They're all pretty universal. Worse case you could grab some wires jam them on the pins and tap them together to replicate the button pressing, until you're in the mode you need
Hella i have installed my and the trunk release cable is grown all the time , is no working to trigger my trunk solenoid, some one knows have to fix that?
Not being a smart ass but how bout showing where to connect wires to rather than product review. Like this red wire to positive batterie terminal and brown grey stripe to fuse box or tie into parking lights and so on.
every wire color is going to be way different then your car anyway. then you got power door locks which type do you have a,b or c? each one has 2 or more relays that could need to be wired up. and where to get those wires even varies greatly. try bulldogs web site or your vehicles wiring diagram that'll be a ginormous leap in the right direction

Will do. However, it'll be a couple weeks out since I'm pretty busy.
