This is on a mid engine car so it has a 'frunk' and a trunk. The master guide doesn't seem to list this as a programmable option only accessory 1 or 2 which doesn't disarm. I am using the system with two dei 522t actuators. there's no way to show a complete install because every car is different, every system is different and there are 100s of programmable options. Honestly if you need someone to walk you through it, you should get a professional. The master guides and information can be found online for DIYers. The problem with firsttech/compustar is that they are extremely strict about not offering support unless you are a dealer.
Me too
I’m 62 and I can say it’s the worst one that I ever had. It doesn’t give me that 3 miles (5 km). In strait line. I get 450 metres max or 1500 feet which is less than 10% of what promised, and that, everywhere I go. The dealer said he’ll change the module but not sure that he really did because I got about the same range. Then, I got many kind of problems with it. After going over ten times for all kinds of behaviours, the dealer doesn’t answer to me anymore.
You're said dealer. Are you using a factory key fob? Or an aftermarket unit?
@@AnthonyJ350dealer as a credited installer. Four years ago there was only one here.
@chauffeurmarco What brand of unit do you have? It's the OEM fob you're using?
@ I don’t know. It’s something like the 7900 with the T12
@chauffeurmarco T12 sounds like a Compustar Remote. And there's an antenna stuck to the inside of the windshield up top?
No it doesn’t. It killed the vehicle after remote starting it. Definitely error with the device system. Don’t recommend
It could be installation related. I've been installing these things for 14 years and they don't affect the vehicle negatively. The one in my Silverado I've had in there for 12 years.
could unplugging the battery cause an issue with it?

Thanks for watching! At least I hope you did.
